    Was it against aggro? This deck can definitely suffer against an aggro deck or if you get a really bad hand to start with (for example starting with a Bonemare and Skelemancer). I am looking into adding a bit more card draw or possibly a Silence to improve the deck.

    As for the Wild Pyromancer, it won't work because of Skelemancer. The Skelemancer can't die on your turn or it won't spawn an 8/8. And it is actually preferred your Deathrattle minions live so you can give them Taunt and start making copies. This forces your opponent to deal with them first and giving you active 5/5 and 8/8 minions on your turn if they do.

    Won't work with Skelemancer sadly. It can't die on your turn or you won't get an 8/8. If possible it is even preferred that your Deathrattle minions live so you can give them Taunt and make copies. This forces your opponent to waste a turn to clear your Deathrattle minions if they want to go face and if your opponent kills them, the 5/5 and 8/8 minions will be active on your turn.

    As mentioned earlier I haven't played a lot of ranked on this (as I'm mostly new) and the games I've had on ranked were mostly stomps against other newer players. Other games against decent decks still went very well though.

    Cabal Shadow Priest seems interesting (stealing minions can be really funny since we can make copies of it) though it does make the deck a bit more expensive.

    The Kabal Songstealer is an option but it will be rotating out in April.

    Barnes (like Shadow Essence) can work but it depends on what you get out of the deck.
    Anything with a Battlecry would be a bad draw but anything else would be quite good.

    Awesome that you did a video on it, nice to see others play it. That Cubelock though and that Faceless Manipulator.Spellbreaker could be a good addition to the deck, possibly in place of Acherus Veteran. It does provide some nice counters to big Taunts, which the deck can struggle with.

    I'm also considering putting a little more card draw into the deck though I'm not sure with what cards.
    I suppose Mass Dispel could even be an option, since it both gives a card and provides a Silence against your opponent.

    Cairne could work (I don't have it and it is a Legendary card so not too cheap) but the Carnivorous Cube does not work with this deck. It has too much anti-synergy with Skelemancers and Twilight's Call.

    More card draw I can agree on, though in place of what and with what cards?
    I was thinking about Loot Hoarder instead of Acherus Veteran but Loot Hoarder's Deathrattle would weaken Twilight's Call.

    It will still be in the deck once the nerf hits. Even at 8 mana, the power of giving +4/+4 and Taunt to either a Skelemancer or a Devilsaur Egg is too good to ignore. Suddenly that Skelemancer is a 6/6 with Taunt. Usually that means you can trade with it against a minion without losing it. Although the change does mean you can't play a Devilsaur Egg + Bonemare on the same turn anymore, there are still some other options with the 2 mana you'll have left once you get to 10 mana. Shadow Ascendant, Sunfury Protector or just healing a target can still be played afterwards.

    Herald can definitely work if you have some stuff on the board (primarily Skelemancers which you've already given Taunt). It is an Old Gods card though so it will rotate out in April.

    Zola is decent for 2 mana but it gives you one in the hand rather than a copy on the board, meaning you'll have to spend mana to play it later on. Feel free to give it a try though and see how it goes.

    For me probably Fire Fly since it just fits in many decks and is just a great way to open.

    Glad to hear you're having fun with the deck, that's what it's all about!

    Not getting the Deathrattle minions can happen unfortunately, though I do think it will be somewhat rare as you have some decent card draw in the deck. Generally you can still get some decent presence on the board with your other minions (as they'll buff each other) to delay long enough to still get them in your hand.

    This is where the copies come in. As you soon as you play even just one Skelemancer or Devilsaur Egg and can get a copy off (or just play another one), you've gotten two Deathrattle minions on the board. And you only need two for Twilight's Call to work. You're also not looking to just bring back any random Deathrattle minion, this deck wants more Skelemancers or Devilsaur Eggs so those are the only Deathrattles in the deck.

    With the amount of copies you can make and how you can easily force any of them to end up dead you won't struggle to get value of Twilight's Call. Sure, you could end up having it in your hand for a little while, but as mentioned you're not looking to play this card early and get a minion like Plated Beetle back, you want more Skelemancers or Devilsaur Eggs. And with how much Taunt and buff there is in this deck you can slow/delay more than long enough to get Twilight's Call to work.
