Fun fact, that card that got nerfed twice looks a lot like this card! So even if dragon paladin fails, at least this card is looking quite good for other archetypes aswell.
We did get an upgraded Scalerider though! Amber Whelp deals 3 damage and is a dragon itself! A natural fit for a dragon tempo/control deck. And look, it's already bronze!
This will probably be too slow. On average it's a 4 mana 3-5 that will give 1 or 2 dragons taunt and DS on a later turn.. It will be so awkward to play this on turn 4 and not being able to combo it with a dragon. Or drawing it and having no other dragons in hand. Even when combo'd immediately when you have 9 or 10 mana, it's just not very impactful for this mana cost..
EDIT: I just realized Onyxian Warder is still in the game, this would actually be the absolute perfect follow-up card and could by itself make this card worth running!
Maybe paladin will finally get a legendary in the miniset. They haven't had one before.
Anyway, I don't think the selfdamage package is big enough to warrant a dedicated legendary. It would likely be useless unless the entire package is good enough..
Jury Duty: It's a 3 mana 4-4 kinda. Not too bad, can be a lot better when you have extra dudes out. Don't think it will be good enough to make SHR strong enough tho.
What bugs me about these cards is, where are the holy spells? Why do I have a completely useless Kotori Lightblade in my collection? I mean seriously.... There are litteraly 3 holy buff spells that would make sense to cast on this legendary. MAYBE four, if you count Flash of Light to get one extra draw, but that's kinda stretching it... Anyway, hopefully next expansion I guess..
Perjury is specifically to support the secret legendary (Halkias I think is the name) and will therefore be quite bad.
The rush minion is obviously very good.
The removal is very strong, but situational. I predict it will be good enough to run in a couple of decks. Casting this on a big fcker and slapping a 1-1 with your dagger is really good.
They did announce nerfs. It seems extremely unlikely they would nerf other classes, while leaving mage and druid untouched.. I mean, it's not possible,.. right..?

Easy include if you were to make the new paladin dragons work

Dragon Speaker would still be too slow.

The fact that this is an 8-8 makes it really good. A very welcome stall tool for sure!
Also, I look forward playing this against The Jailer! Hopefully multiple times by discover :)

Finally a holy spell that is worth casting on Kotori Lightblade!

A card that paladin can definitely use. Those turn 1 snowballs vs hunter or druid...

How is this not ok? As other classes dont even have these issues to begin with? Paladin is one of the lowest winrate classes

Pure Pally is its rightful name if you ask me. Purity FTW!

True!
Class Action Lawyer will likely not be able to bail you out though.

Cards are good. But are they good enough?
Class Action Lawyer: A good two-drop is something that Pure Paladin is definitely missing. This may replace some filler cards as a decent removal.
Order in the Court: Topdecking Lightforged Cariel into The Countess consistently on curve would be quite sexy for Pure Pally. Because it's REALLY hard to win without those 2 cards. Sire Denathrius and Lightforged Cariel for all other pally decks speaks for itself.
