Does not work. She'll turn your taunts 1 health and own them with her own minions. She also runs taunts so you'll never get the chance to hit face even if you fish for the 5 heals for valithria.

Kingbobtheking posted a message on DreadscalePosted in: DreadscaleAfter GvG control hunter just barely didn't make the cut, it could crush most control decks, had a pretty fair chance against midrange, and got decimated by aggro. When I look at Acidmaw and Dreadscale I see 1 card that screams anti control and the other that screams anti face decks. Dreadscale is clearly the anti aggro/face card. In many ways this card is exactly what control hunter needed to have, a way to stop decks like Face Hunter from killing it before it could ever get to late game. The reason that control hunter was never able to beat aggro was because there never was enough room to fit any kind of healing into the deck because you had to run a lot of cards that comboed for removal. The combos I am talking about were things like Wild Pyromancer + Arcane Shot for a 3 mana removal + 1 damage AOE, Hunter's Mark to combo with Wild Pyromancer, Steamwheedle Sniper for 2 damage removal, etc. While I think that many of these cards still have a good chance of being in a control hunter deck, it feels like there is a much lesser need to run 2 of most of these cards. Dreadscale means that you don't need as many spells to combo with Wild Pyromancer (which I would expect would only be a 1 of if you are running Dreadscale) meaning that you likely then have room for either a Antique Healbot or Bolf Ramshield. In addition to making room for much needed heals it also has the benefit of comboing with Acidmaw for late game board clears and being an activator for Gahz'rilla (Since Gahz needs to stick for one turn anyway it means that your opponent needs to either sacrifice their board to deal with the 12/8, kill it will 2 or 3 spells, or silence it making it a 6/8. no matter what they do it is hard to deal with it)
Even if control hunter ends up fizzling Dreadscale still has potential in midrange hunter in certain metas. Paladin has always been a horrible matchup for midrange hunter due to it being hard to deal with the silver hands and deal face damage at the same time, you always had to either choose to ignore the silver hands and then lose to Quartermaster, or deal with all the Silver hands leaving you with no minions to attack face and running out of steam. Dreadscale is a really good way to deal with the silver hands and still have your other minions attack face. It is the same thing with face hunter, it is really hard to kill their minions and still deal enough damage to their face to have a chance to race them. Dreadscale gives you 2 turns to try to out race them since as midrange hunter all your minions have 2 health and Face hunter won't trade.
Over all I have a lot of hope for Dreadscale andAcidmaw

Thanks for writing this guide! 3-1 at rank 10. Won against 2 hunters and tempo warrior. Loss to Zoo.
I mulliganed for Selfless Hero and Argent Squire, but kept Abusive Sergeant. Should I have tossed away Abusive as well? I held it as a counter for Flame Imp. He coined out Bilefin Tidehunter. I could only hero power on turn 2 and felt like that the game.

This could be like Hunter's version of Anyfin. Especially if you can combo it with Thaurissan and Unleash.

Fun deck! 6-1 so far.

69 packs right here.

I like this card, but the problem is (and with every 4 drop) is it better than Piloted Shredder?
For Demonlock, dropping this just by itself on turn 4 seems really bad. You would much rather play Void Caller or even just Imp Gang Boss. And I'm not sure what you would cut either for this. The 4 slot is already occupied by void callers and implosions.
We need more than 30 cards in a deck Blizzard!

Turn 4 Crowd Favorite, into turn 5 Silver Hand Knight is going to be so sick in arena.

Darn it Volt! I want a full detailed guide, mulligans against every deck archetype, and all tech cards against different match ups laid out right this instant! Kappa.

Brought this deck to the NJ Fireside Gathering Swiss Tournament. This is my second time piloting the deck. The first time was practicing with our team mate Axlsairt. Here are the results of the 4 rounds and 1 pregame warm up:
Warm up
Inner Fire Priest - Win. Never felt like I was going to lose. The only scary moment was when he dropped shield bearer, 2x divine spirit, and inner fire. However, I had execute already in hand.
Taunt Rogue - Win. His deck was full of taunts (even had goldshire footmen). Got rekted by his Betrayal: had Alex surrounded by Sylvanas and something else.
Round 1
Mech Mage - Loss. Complete blow out. Mulliganed hard for Fiery War Axe, but did not get it.
Midrange Hunter - Win* The opponent missed lethal. I had 13 health left and emperor on board. He had 1 bow charge, starving buzzard on board (6 dmg). He KC's the emperor and plays silverback patriarch.
Round 2
Tempo Flamewaker Mage - Loss. Did not get fiery in opening. I did stabilize eventually with brawl and weapon, but my life was too low. He top decked pyroblast, but still had 1 fireball and frostbolt left in his deck.
Zoo - Loss. No axe in opening. Flame Imp, nerubian, imp gang boss, gg. I don't remember exactly, but he was able to remove my Deathlord pretty easily (PO I believe).
Round 3
Inner Fire Priest - Loss. Same priest from warm up game. On T3, I played Deathlord. He SWP and got Sen'Jin. I never recovered from that. He did thoughtsteal Iron Juggernaut, and ironically the burrowing mine killed me with exact lethal.
Hunter Non standard - Win. I guess it was like a Beast/Control hunter. He had cards like arcane shot and oasis snapjaw.
Round 4
Mech Mage - Loss. No axe. T1 cogmaster, T2 annoy-o tron, T3 tinkertown. I think I misplayed. I coined out Brawl, but probably shouldn't have.
Zoo - Loss. No axe. Got like 2x brewmaster and deathlord. Similar to the other zoo match, it felt like he got rid of Deathlord pretty easily. I was really hoping to brew the deathlord back but didn't get a chance. Should I have kept whirlwind? I had it in my hand, but decided to throw it back to go hard for axe. When he implosioned, I really wish I had whirlwind.
The sample size is small: 4-10. I still had a ton of fun. My question against faster type decks like Zoo and Mech/Tempo Mage, should you play coldlight anyway on turn 3?
