to be honest, golden Elite Tauren Chieftain and Gelbin Mekkatorque should become craftable and disenchantable as well.

LaCaipirinha posted a message on Attitude towards imbalance in this game is an embarrassment to the communityPosted in: General DiscussionFor some reason I can't find the thread but about 6 months ago I posted one of many threads complaining about how imbalanced and unfun the Druid's force of nature and savage roar combo was.
I was angrily told by members here that there was nothing wrong with the combo, it was absolutely fine, that unlike all the other nerfs in the game, this one wasn't necessary.
Of course the same people claimed the same thing of Undertaker, UTH, Warsong etc. etc. before those nerfs. They were wrong every time.
Now with the rebalancing of the classic set everyone is convinced that FoN + SR will be finally balanced. Suddenly because Krip and Firebat and whoever else is advocating it, it's ok to admit that it's a problem?
Just wanted to make those of you who constantly apologise for Blizzard's poor balancing that your hypocrisy and lack of rationality has not gone unnoticed and due to yourselves the Hearthstone community will probably never be able to be taken seriously on matters of balance.

yolobish posted a message on secretdin is not brokenPosted in: General DiscussionI'd say control priest is more OP than secret pally, only thing is it's even more boring and even easier to play, so you don't come across it much.

LordPikachuStarscream posted a message on Paladin is most fun classPosted in: General DiscussionNo, I agree. Paladin is my favorite class, and it saddens me that some people are so blinded by an empty hate for secret pally that they can no longer enjoy seeing it or playing it at all.

TianZi posted a message on Why do people hate Secret Paladin so much?Posted in: General DiscussionIt didn't seem much easier to play than other decks when I tried it.
Playing at 50% win rate would probably be pretty brain dead, but if you want to climb ladder at like 70% wins the decisions actually matter. There may be fewer decisions to make, but that simply makes those fewer decisions more important. It's not like control where you have lots of decisions to make, and in many cases multiple choices are fine.
It didn't feel nearly as taxing on thinking as playing strait out aggro with constant recalculating damage, or trying to pick the best removal to use and what to save like control, but there are still a lot of choices on face vs board and what to trade.
As low skill as many people say it is, I doubt most people would even be able to hit legend with it simply due to too many misplays.

jazzfan27 posted a message on Why do people hate Secret Paladin so much?Posted in: General DiscussionI might have been playing it wrong, but, last season I ran Secretp Pally to rank 5, and I never just went face. I was always making trades trying to control the board.
This season I gave up using it because it just wasn't that strong. I switched to Reno-Lock and it was quite a bit better. So, why do people hate Secret Pally? I dunno. I think it's a bit of mob mentality actually. There are other decks much more worthy of hatred, Aggro Shaman for instance.

StCecil posted a message on Mysterious Challenger is OP. Nerf!Posted in: Card DiscussionNoone mentions the games when you pull 2-3 secrets and end up not being able to do anything worthwhile until turn 4-5.
Or when the Challenger comes after turn 10 and gets 2-3 secrets which is good, but much easier to play around than 4-5 since many times you know which ones have been used.
It seems to me, at the moment, there are plenty of decks that are at least even with secret paladin:
These are decks I feel have at least a 50/50 shot against secret paladin just based on my play experience of going from rank20 to rank5 for the last 3 months as secret paladin (midrange version not aggro)...
face shaman (doesn't care about much of what you do and secret paladin usually runs few heals if any)
face hunter (pretty much a coin toss, at least 50/50 with secret paladin, bascially a race or depends on who gets the right draws)
demon zoo / zoo (usually has a big enough board to trigger the secrets and all kinds of options/can do multiple things per turn quite often )
freeze mage (the counter to secret paladin - highly favored for obvious reasons)
tempo mage (not as much of a sure win as freeze mage has, but favored against all paladin builds. much of the time paladin can't deal with the flamewaker and it gets massive value/keeps the board clear)
priest control/dragon (I am not sure how good the match is vs paladin in general, but man, priest has plenty of ways to counter the challenger. Lightbomb, Entomb and Shadow Word : Death)
paladin non-secret: (plenty of answers, Equality + consecrate, aldor, uldman)
druid : I'm not sure, I don't play druid enough. I hear aggro druid does well or is at least 50/50 with secret pally
rogue : not sure either
warrior : I ususally don't have a hard time with warrior, I think Patron is a pretty good counter to any paladin build tho...

Couldn't be happier for the direction and the deck themes they are pushing on Paladin, but the last 4 cards better be balls to the walls amazing or Paladin will be unplayable.
Seriously needs some early game and
single targetany type of removal/damaging spell, and needs card draw, and a weapon. They need more things than cards available to be revealed. Looking grim.3
Paladin has 0 Tier 1 decks at the moment. Everything Paladin has is easily counterable, and they haven't even been nerfed yet.
Most effecient removal? That's laughable. Paladins have the worst removal of all 9 classes and everyone knows it.
Paladins are also probably being hit hardest by formats also. Go try and find tournament play from pre-GvG era with Paladins. Almost unfindable, I used to watch just for the Paladins and many tournaments didn't even have Paladins because they were generally regarded as the worst of the 9.
Even Midrage deck wasn't that strong, a few weeks after release and it got hard countered. Secret Paladin, down to Tier 2 without any nerfs, and they are coming. Anyfin down to Tier 2 or worse and nerfs are coming. No Paladin deck is currently above Tier 2 and all the current Paladin decks are getting nerfed hard.
Another shitty 3 mana 3/3 that will ruin the Flood deck they have been trying to push for 2 expansions now.
Paladins have a good curve and that is all. Even with the "best curve" it is still easily countered because that is ALL they have. Thta's why the "OP" Secret Paladin deck is down to Tier 2. It was always easily counterable if people just got their heads out of their asses and played the available counters. All Paladin decks are easily counterable if you have a brain cause they only do one predictiable thing, play on curve, non-reactive, they have no burst, worst removal, pretty much no other option.
I just leave it like this. How does Secret Paladin go from Tier 1 to Tier 2 with no nerfs? No changed cards, no new sets released? Answer is that it was never OP, people just learned how to play. If anything people should be thanking Secret Paladin for enlightenting them to some real card play, as opposed to what they were previously doing: just playing on-curve decks with all classes and then crying how one on-cuve deck isn't as good as some other on-curve deck.

LOOK OUT!!!!
He's gonna crash, his horse has a secret stuck in his eye.
Maybe it's cause I'm from the cold but evergreens are so comforting. He looks great in green.
And O Tannenbaum is such a happy sounding, upbeat song. Well atleast this one is, and less lively versions are peaceful which isn't bad either.

Awesome new card art.
It's turtles all the way down.
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Turtles_all_the_way_down
Or maybe just the beginning of a hundred turtle stack.

I'm guessing it's time for Paladin to finally receive a decent single target removal / damage spell.
If not, they will have to give Paladin a bunch more best, on-curve cards in many mana slots.
Seems like people are sick of that. Paladin players don't want to play on-curve tempo/aggro, and people playing against Paladin are sick of it too.
No one wants Paladin to be an aggro class.
Just give us the removal already and make Paladin a control class.

Yeah I really see no logic behind this. Old Murk Eye is only a potential problem with Anyfin Can Happen.
But with the new set rotations, it will be rotated out next year, so at maximum it could only be a problem for 1 year, on top of the fact that it isn't even a problem or highly played deck yet.
If the problem is Charge, then change Old Murk Eye but don't remove him from the game. Anyfin Can Happen can only be around for a year.
And it isn't even a problem yet. You didn't fix Boom or Shredder for far too long, made us all play with that garbage, and even got the casters/pros to get off your back by letting them in on the secret that the cards they hate will eventually change format, so they left it. Backhanded as well a illogical. Everyday Blizzard becomes a worse and worse company.
Even though the new Standard format will take the game back to a much more skilled and less random environment like it was pre-GvG, and I love card games, it looks like it might be time to bust out the old Ice Age deck, or even a simple set of 52 for some Euchre or Poker with some friends.
I'm not sure that I can play much longer, purley based on how shitty Blizzard is. Worst "Gaming" Company ever, if what they make can even be called video games anymore. More of a mix between phone based trash apps and a casino, no room for a quality game. The worst part is that is their intention, not to make a quality game, but to make an addicting, aggressive money gathering system. Rediculous that online poker is illegal in America, but they allow this trash to float about. Heartstone is so much worse than online poker.
And to those that say that is the point of a company, to make money: maybe you are too young to remember, but companies weren't always run with the ruthless manner that they are today. Wage differences between higherups and low-rung workers was nearly equal 60 years ago. Even things like backbacks were made with much higher quality in the past, if your parent or grandparent has a backpack that is atleast 50 years old, take a look at the fine construction and materials and care that went into making that bag, and just the fact that it is still around 50 years later. One should wonder why backpacks nowadays can't be made the same, why a modern backpack lasts about a year before it's in tatters and nearly everything today is made, to make the most money, with no care for the consumer or worker, or planet which might be the one suffering the most do to careless expending of resources, on shitty short-term, high-profit items.
Even older gaming companies were not nearly as profit driven. They made less money, and better games, funny how that works.
And to those that want to support these games, it is a nice altruistic gesture on your part to feel like it is your responsiblity to keep the company afloat, or atleast pay "your share." I can assure you they will not reurn the gesture, they will not show one drop of altruistic nature toward you, they actually pray on our good intentions, one who feels obligated to fund them so they make a better game or what not, are the juicy targets that the vampire known a COMPANY intends to suck dry. Trickle-down is FAIL. Giving them more money has almost no effect on the quality of the game or future games. Trickle-down is a LIE. If anything the opposite might be closer to the truth. Giving them more money will yield worse products.

The class should be called: Thief
They are hated cause they are kleptomaniacs.
If they actually focused on Priest things, like Healing and buffing, it would probably be my second favorite class.
But alas, they are not Priests, they are Thiefs.
