In the past, the MOST competitive deck which was also considered potentially the most complicated was Grim Patron Warrior. It was widely thought to have the highest skill cap of any deck that came before it. At least up until the Warsong Commander nerf destroyed the archetype.
And now the Fiery War Axe nerf destroyed the Warrior class...
THAT would have been the best possible change. For pretty much every Warrior deck, except Pirate Warrior, you never use Fiery War Axe to hit face unless its to kill them. The only reason they nerfed the best card Warrior has was because of Pirate Warrior.
Its not just this deck that will be killed, its literally every Warrior deck that uses Fiery War Axe. Every Warrior deck has Fiery in it, and now the nerf just absolutely killed all early game tempo....unless you go 2nd and coin out Fiery
Its confirmed that the next expansion is called "RIP Fiery War Axe". Seriously, Fiery War Axe will become one of the worst weapons once its nerfed. Literally every other 3 mana 3/2 weapon in the game has SOME kind of effect, and now Fiery War Axe is turning from the best early game weapon to the worst (although nothing can really be worse than Cursed Blade).
Its definitely great when you use Scourgelord Garrosh before you beat the quest so that you get the awesome weapon and then the awesome hero power from the quest.
Lately I've been finding that I'm REALLY lacking in damage late game and I just can't kill the opponent no matter what I do. So I took out 2 Blood To Ichor and put in 2 Gurubashi Berserker. I think its a more late game oriented version of Frothing Berserker and can work really well in here (also fills up the 5 cost slot). Usually when I play Frothing Berserker he always get killed with a spell (even if I didn't buff him at all or have Blood Razor equipped so they know I can buff him), maybe 1 in 20 matches he actually survives to get a single attack off. I might also take out a Bonemare and put something else in because I don't always have a minion on the board turn 7.

From now on I have to hope I go 2nd EVERYTIME so that I can coin and use Fiery War Axe on turn 2.....

Yep. And the worst part is they didn't nerf priest at all. I think I'm done with this game now tbh, I only play warrior

Good. Priest is fucking cancer anyway.

I've thought about putting Scourgelord Garrosh in a Taunt Warrior deck before but I thought the 2 conflicting hero powers would make it not so good.

Get out Pirate Warrior scum.

How would Hobart Grapplehammer be in this deck?

One of the most broken cards in the game right now. Along with most of the other priest cards the class got with this expansion
