No it’s not good, and buffing a few useless cards didn’t help it one bit.
If anything, it’s now much worse after nerfs to renathal

1 infesting ghoul and 2 other cards, starts the unkillable board state. That is not only not a god roll, I’d say it honestly very common by turn 4-5. And it only gets worse.
part of the problem is that they get copies of there DR so they have 4 copies of infesting ghoul and only priest has enough silence to deal with that on 4+ times, and it’s very unlikely that they will draw enough silences with how fast rogue draws.
which is the second problem, I have seen the deck draw literally their entire deck before turn 9. Which feeds into the fact that the opposing player needs to silence AND clear ALL the rogues resources by turn 9 ish.
that looks like this :depending on when you get a silence+ board clear as you need both to stand a chance
turn 4/5/6 - starfish , cost 4 and is your only play that turn. Leaving 1-5 body’s hitting face for 4-5 dmg a piece.
dmg to player on SUCCESSFUL SILENCE 5-20 (you’re easily are down ~50% of your life pool)
turn 5/6/7 - board clear - this needs deal 7 dmg to the board most of the time to actually clear, if they respond to the silence with an infesting ghoul you cannot clear period.
dmg to player 5-10 (almost no one can deal 7 board dmg for 5 or 6 mana. Meaning there will be bodies left and you have no board)
At this point there are plenty of cases where people are already dead. Then This pattern is almost statistically guaranteed to happen again directly after the first board clear, And then after that it can happen again.
It’s fine if you are having fun playing the deck. I just know that expansions release with this kind of trash a lot with the power creep in every expansion. I think a few weeks of public testing would help keep their dust refunds down and release in a better state.

This is an absolutely insane thing to get through internal testing. You can’t have unkillable board states on turn 3/4 . Even after a T5 starfish they just cheat out a whole new board for 4 mana. 5, 1 mana 4/4 DR summon 5/7 taunt so insane. This needs immediate attention. Also the classic response “Priest beats it” is not acceptable. They failed at their job if the “Balance” is that one other strat/class specifically beats it.

Quote from CrusaderRO >>Probably intended because the weapon wasn't yours.
The weapon already did it's thing and put the sould in the "soul bound" card. I stole the card - I steal the soul!
That's my view anyway...
I really wish Blizz would make these interaction obvious. If something doesn't work just stop it from being discoverable/stealable. They've said they will do it will "corpse" based thefts so why not other stuff.
4
I agree you should've been able to discover it. Might be another change they make together with other classes being able to use corpse-consuming cards.

Opponent used Souleater's Scythe. I stole one of the soul cards from a DH using Theotar. When I played it nothing happened.
The "Bound Soul" card says "Discover a minion consumed by souleaters scythe". To me - I should have been able to pick from the three minions consumed and there is nothing in the wording of either card that suggests this shouldn't have worked.
Bug or intended behaviour?

Works perfectly against DR Rogues but has a hard time against Deniathrus decks still. DH also is a difficult battle.

Hey, was surprised noone posted a quest priest deck yet, seems to be working well at least for me :) Made a little showcase of the deck if anyone wants to see it in action!

I don't believe people with actual brains are designing cards for this game. By the looks of it, Blizzard looks for the dumbest people possible. Normal gameplay doesn't exist - combo into combo, OTK, swarming the board for 2 mana from 1 card...
1
Imo Guff is the problem. Having 20 mana every turn is just too much to deal with for every other deck

I literally posted the deck tracker stats...
Based on your comment history you seem to have some personal issues. I wasn't even going to respond but you essentially are calling me a liar. The stats are there, with a rather large sample size.

If you mean what kind of minion do you want to use him on, I generally use him to disrupt and try to pull out something big from my opponent. For example if druid casts Miracle Growth, I'll generally bounce the growth back and try to pull out a key combo piece. Also the deck has The Light it Burns so it's relatively safe to use voljin and cheaply remove whatever is pulled out. He's also good if something gets buffed or vs deathrattle rogue that has stored multiple ghouls on a minion, it really just depends. As far as bouncing the minions in this deck, Hexxen and Astalor are really the only ones worthwhile.. maybe Mutanus.
If you mean something to replace Voljin because you don't want to use him, a very straightforward option would be Taelan for a more consistent quest.

Very cool dude! Thanks for checking it out.

best card in the expansion imo lmao

Heck yeah. I defeated that brownie with a bloody basic skinny white boy build. It was funny and sad at the same time...

I ate a brownie once?

I messed around with that quite a while ago. TBH it's just way too situational. You really have to find an ideal time to play it which can be tough... which in turn makes drawing it anytime before that really bad. On top of that the meta is very aggressive so there's even less wiggle room. It's better just to play the game out and draw into your clowns and collosus. Plus raise dead would end up at the bottom of your deck which could be a bit rough.

Congrats on legend :)

I will point out that since everyone has alex, it's probably more likely to get nerfed. Blizz hates giving out free dust lol

I think this card is kind of problematic, and could be more so down the road. It gives classes reach that they normally shouldn't have. It's almost like a neutral pyroblast. Obviously right now there are way bigger offenders, but I do think bilzzard needs to keep an eye on this one...
