A fair nerf would be the Jade Idol with the same mechanic, except the shuffled copies cannot shuffle again. The most you could have from that card is 6 Golems. But i think this nerf is meant to set something up in the future. Innervate in theory is pretty busted but is iconic yes. Jade is the problem, but if that deck got killed then Highlander Priest would flood the meta and as a result another brutal meta of ultra fast decks like Pirate. Theres more to this, and honestly I enjoy playing casual instead of getting worked up over ranks.
Losing Tinker's Sharpwood Oil, Azure Drake, and Loatheb really took a toll on Oil. I could see placing the Lich King instead of Dr. Boom in standard. How would you go about shaping the deck for standard?
Since we are a few weeks into the new expansion i wanted to see what other users had to offer in regards to personal/creative decks. We all know where the Pro's post and what the popular meta decks are (I get bored of most high WR% decks) and i was wondering if anyone had any fun decks they created that the community could use as well. It becomes difficult to find original decks in the decklist, so if you have anything interesting or something you are proud of feel free to post it so myself and others can toy with. For starters, ill link my freeze Shaman deck.
Keep in mind i am not necessarily looking for tier 1 decks, creativity and neat combos are encouraged.
Don't be discouraged, of course this game isnt fun for all, but everyone has different experiences. If you want to hit legend every month as a F2P, 1-2 hours isnt enough. Instead, this is what i would do: get the free legend from the KFT solo and do the missions with the free decks out there. Earn packs as you go, and save up some gold and buy the Kharazhan adventure (you don't need to spend money unless you want to) and you can get some great cards for the next few months. Then see what you can make and be creative and try new things. hit rank 20 and then switch to casual for a bit and develop classes. Don't bother trying to make meta decks because honestly going in on one deck is no fun. KFT is my second expansion but the first i went in for. I bought about 20 Un'goro packs and grinded to having my vast collection now. Its going to be a struggle at first, but your collection will develop. Once you feel comfortable, play the hell out of arena- much more enjoyable and great rewards. From there, move on up. But you don't need every legendary, hit legend, or have a golden collection. This game is about your experience and you experimenting and building decks you want to play. I cashed out in the beginning and made a pirate warrior to compete and it was so boring. then i made a Tiger Hunter deck and had a blast. Don't get discouraged by the community
The Giants + Faceless are only in for high value board swings. Usually Snowfury is not needed, but is a great card in the late game when you need high powered minions. Sea Giant is an amazing turn 4-6 play if you summon totems, freeze, or play against aggro. These two are fairly essential... honestly if you cannot afford these but somehow have Aya, throw in the Jade package for the synergy. If not you can try putting in 2 Frozen crushers or 2 Flamewreath Faceless's. Not sure how well that would work, I could try to find a suitable replacement though. Now the Lich King is another story. I think he is quite possibly the most critical Late game card in the deck. 8/8 Taunt with his card generation is unbeatable. He will stick around for expansions to come and it's well worth it to save and craft him. If you cannot replace him at all, you could try throwing in an Elise, Ysera, White Eyes, or Al'Akir. Don't know how much success you would have.
Hello, I pushed to rank 15 with the deck and then began playing other control oriented decks with DK. This deck generally splits even with Jade, I had a lot of success pushing a board before the opponent can swing Jades (6-9 turn) and generally would win by turn 8. Now if you get a bad draw, or if your opponent has a fantastic draw, then this deck will take you to the late game and at that point you will find yourself in a losing battle. Overall Jade isn't the biggest threat to this deck.
I have a lot of success with it! I put in Crusher, worked sometimes. I found that the freeze effect on it was too minimal - Moorabi is really a key situational play where i look for one or two cards. The 4/4 statline makes it very difficult to keep alive. Overall this is my favorite deck, only trouble i run into is against Death knights about 18-20 turns in

Neat deck, not the common Druid on the ladder and has some variety. +1
