If you want to climb, definitely Shaman. But i absolutely love quest mage. You will probably hit rank 15 and stall with quest mage, but are almost given a win against any slow paced deck. You can't beat aggro with Quest
I've been thinking, whenever i hit the 25-26 card slot in a deck, the only logical choice is to cram in tech cards. The problem is, and it is probably my odds, the tech choices i make are usually never used. Lately i've seen these cards:
With this in mind, what is the proper method to tech? The meta is always changing, but what is the ideal choice? You need different techs from rank 20-10, and 10-Legend, and I am sure Legend is a completely different ballgame. But I want to know what the best possible tech card is for the current meta - so I can avoid stuffing filler cards. If there is any other form of tech card, please share and explain why.
Play style and deck creation allow for a player to plan their game and counters, but tech cards are specifically meant to take on a single archetype of card that is persistent among matchups. It's ever increasing that more and more tech cards are needed in order to gain the advantage, and I think it is an important topic. Every deck guide has a full mulligan write up, but generally not much for tech. So if you have any insight, please post it
In my last 50 packs i have had insane luck. I pulled a Caverns Below, Clutchmother Zavas, golden Nat Pagle, Gruul, Archbishop Benedictus, Professor Purtricide, and Yogg. these last 20 have really been a jackpot. Sometimes it is hit or miss, I've gone months without legends.
That's what I figured, thanks a lot for testing it! I'm happening after these nerds hit there may be a shake up in the meta. Surprisingly Ive had a ton of success ranks 13 and up, I'll probably hit that wall soon. But overall the deck is a lot of fun, I appreciate it!
I made a Freeze deck not too long ago, this deck is extremely focused on Moorabi - the rest of the cards cant carry their weight. I tried this deck and went roughly 44% with it in casual (8W-10L). Freeze Shaman has always been a favorite of mine and if you are interested i highly reccomend you check it out, I have had much more success with it (as of right now i am about 50W-40L).

Serious question, do you think Sindragosa would be a decent replacement for Medivh?
