actually the randomness of thoughtsteal isnt a downside per se. Its a big advantage to have cards your opponent cant guess. On higher tiers, you know the decklists, but have no opinion what thoughtsteal gave the opp so you cant play around it.
I have the feeling Doomsayer is a little under the radar atm, since everybody is playing Undertaker-aggro or it doesnt fit the deck. And since everybody is net-decking and its an epic, very few will try it. Its pretty decent in handlock, since it buys you the time to handle the board, or establishes it directly. There arent much more hard-control decks, besides Mage anyway.
Sheep can also be silenced and if your opponent has 7 power on the board already, the sheep might be too slow anyway, unless you have the option to kill it yourself right away.
my impression so far is, that most of the cards will be unplayable trash in constructed and were mainly designed for maximum randomness in arena or casual play. some will have fun with it, others will hate it. (i dont play arena anymore, because its too random already)
Im not even sure its worth to buy packs, even the spoiled legendaries are a pile of crap and I doubt there will be much more. So in the end, unless you are a collector, its better to gamble on the misssing legendarys from the basic set than to waste you gold on "fun"-cards and buy the few playable gems with dust.
This card is going to be AMAZING in handlock.. Not only do the majority of your minions survive from the 2 damage but this card is exactly what handlock needs to just not die to hunter or zoo in the first few turns you spend building up your hand.
There is already Doomsayer, which is much better than this. The Sheep often wont kill that Undertaker
the Voltron Legend must be assembled with mimirons head, so not that broken. overall i think there are too many random effects, so many cards are unplayable junk. as someone said before, it ruins arena. but arena is random crap to begin with, so nothing really changes.
it will be nice to open packs with fresh cards and not just dust :)
I still like him in control decks. A coined Pagle Turn1 is still strong and its like a Shieldbearer with Mega-Taunt. Its not as powerful as he used to be, but totally underrated right now.
Both games has skill/luck , but HS has more luck involved, HS I've seen atleast 10 or more players get lucky and topdeck something huge everyday.
While in Magic, if ur playing Rug delver vs sneak and show in legacy, he have emrakul on board, but at 3 life, ur only way to kill him is using a lightning bolt, but that is 4 card in your 60 card deck, that's very less chance ur going to win, but in HS, in a aggro Mage deck if ur opponent at 3, you can top deck frostbolt to kill him, or fireball, or Leeroy , or wolf rider, so there is more opportunity to top deck something good in HS than magic.
In RUG Delver you have Ponder and Brainstorm to find that Bolt. Thats potential 12 in 60 + 24 cards you filter
I think people have forgotten that secrets don't trigger on your turn, so for those who are thinking ''OMFG, Leeroy Jenkins + Duplicate is so awesome! '' , I'm sorry, but I doesn't actually work. And even Doomsayer can't trigger Duplicate, as it says ''At the start of your turn... '' , so again, it doesn't work.
Dude, all I can say is L2P. If you ran you Leeroy into Minions instead for the face, youre doing it wrong. Ususally you hit the face and lose Leeroy to the Drakelings. In that case, youll get 2 more Leeroy to finish the job.

but i think priest is overpowered against certain classes anyway. Shadow Madness, Cabal Shadow Priest and even the 10mana Mind Control are insane card advantage/control cards.

cheap DS minions are quite interesting with Blood Knight. And Tron even can safe it from an attack. 9/9 turn 3 sounds acceptable.
and Shrinkmeister easily is 6/5, this guy is just broken

i dont even know what bm means

-Standard isnt magic, its a worse watered down demoversion of magic.. So its not surprising, that HS is better in some points.
-you cant compare MTGO to HS, since HS is only casual, where MTGO provides the option to make money.
-magic is much more skill intensitive and less rng based than HS (more games are decided by ragshots, than manadistribution in mtg)
-the design choice not to have any play on opponents turns makes HS much worse than mtg
-the powercreep already started with naxx, so its just a matter of time until the game jumps the shark

I beat him with
Its pretty budget, but he wasnt very difficult.
Razuvious was pain in the ass. Easiest wing was arachnid
