I have been slowly, without money, working up the gold to get packs, then opening them...and finally got a legendary after many attempts.
Yup. Nat Pagle. I am not sure this guy has any use at all? While I will make the decision on whether to DE or not, can anyone give me feedback on useful build/approaches with this guy? thanks
he used to be used alot but people really dont use him anymore because their is better cards for his spot but due to him being ur only legendary you could use him and pretty much all ur decks hes ok... Just a chance for another card draw which is always nice

Nat Pagle used to be one of the most popular cards. That was back when his ability processed at the end of the turn instead of the beginning. The 50% chance that he would give a card before your opponent had a chance to even think about doing something to him was considered well worth the risk.
Now he has to survive a whole turn before you get your first chance at a card - which makes it awkward to play him. You want him on the board early because he is card draw, but you also want to protect him (which is basically impossible if you coin him out). I would give him a shot in a deck with Zombie Chow and Unstable Ghoul (cheap control and cheap taunt), but if that doesn't work I'm not sure you'll find a deck that does.
Thanks for the feedback. Yeah, from playing with it a little, that waiting until the next turn is bad. I play shaman and have the mana tide totems. They at least get you a guaranteed card. Nat seems to penalyze you with a 50% chance, and also penalyze you by making you wait a turn. Weird.
Thanks, though. I will play around with the situation above, zombie chow and unstable ghoul Maybe in a priest?
I play Nat Pagle in my paladin deck sometimes haha. People basically need to kill him before he gets out of hand. I give him Blessing of Might or Kings, or even buff with Defender of Argus. He's definitely not great, but I wouldn't give up entirely on him.

He isn't overly useful right now. Keep in mind that he use to be arguably the most played legendary (before his nerf). He could eventually make a comeback so I would not DE him unless you need the dust to craft something else that is more important to your decks.
@ Anatak89: Yeah, I do find that people go out of their way to kill a mana tide totem. Somtimes arguably giving up too much, which gives me a win. I carry two for that reason. most Shaman don't but I carry two because I drop the first in a situation where I WANT them to take it out using "way too much." Then I use a fire elemental for the next sheep/etc. Then later I drop the big boys. Maybe I can incorporate this similarly.
@ Snigglez: Good advice. 400 dust just won't be worth it, I think. I need soo much dust, that 400 seems like a drop in the bucket. I will keep him. Never know when another adventure pack comes along that will bring a card with a new synergy.

Even before the nerf there was a debate over whether Nat or MTT was better for Shaman. Now MTT is definitely better.
Bummer, I was looking for uses for him as i opened a pack last night with him in it. Cant complain though
2-3 weeks playing 3 legendaries. Leeroy, Van Cleef, Nat Pagle.
I want to make a miracle deck next but 1600 dust on bloodmage + 1600 on miracle for the cards im missing is pretty steep. The most expensive thing iv made was a doomhammer :/
I also thought about handlock as i got my second mountain giant but fuck thats expensive. Then i got my 3rd mountain giant... may just make kolentos hunter as im only short 460 dust so i can swap between zoo, miracle hunter and shaman.

Bloodmage helps a lot for Miracle, but you don't need him. Depending on which variation you're running, either Loot Hoarder or Kobold Geomancer can serve as a replacement.
Heck, you could even try the Nat. I don't think he'd have the staying power, but with the amount of removal Miracle Rogue runs, you might well be able to get 2 or 3 cards out of him.
yea thats what i figured. all i can think is that i want a bloodmage in my shaman deck :(.
Bloodmage helps my current deck + works for miracle and possible mage decks. Miracle is only good for rogue decks in terms of the cards I need.
Miracle = a new cool deck i have never played with a nutty style compared to what im used to. Bloodmage = 2nd verse same as the first but a solid epic that i can get alot of use out of for the decks i play/want to try to make.
Thanks for your input though. It didnt solve my dilemma but at least i have more avenues to consider lol

Just to tie a bow on this, I have been using it on various decks. A priest, a warrior.
The main value of this thing is if you can play it really early. If you can coin it on turn 2, then you are golden. even if they happen to get rid of it, they will have used something valuable on turn 1 or 2.
In one game, my taunt shaman with HUGE big boys late (not a great ranking deck, but fun), it stuck around until the end of the battle. At first they didn't have anything to remove it, and then they started to realize they needed to start removing more threatening minions. It won me the game. I could choose between tons of cards, making reactions and combos much more reliable.

Nat Pagle is definitely one of the lowest-tier legendaries now that he's been nerfed. No top decks use him and probably won't for a long time. Up to you if you want to be playing the game competitively to climb latter whether you disenchant him or not.
I can understand why people cherish legendaries, they're hard to obtain/costly to craft, but honestly if the legendary isn't very useful in game, I wouldn't get too overly attached to it. Unless you're planning to have a collection of all legendaries in game, but it sounds like the 400 dust would help you in further expanding your collection, I wouldn't hesistate to DE him. I DE'ed him right away when I pulled him in a pack awhile back after his nerf.

If you pull it late? Meh...
Sorry for the double post...
Seems like you're trying a bit too hard just to make it semi-viable, I respect that you are trying to make him playable, but why not just consider a Mana Tide Totem in Pagle's place? One more mana but has 100% of drawing extra card.
I don't understand why he was nerfed. Look at Mana Tide totem. Why should Shaman get that and nobody else, even if they manage to get a legendary?!
Well, class cards are specifically made to be better than neutrals or synergize with the class so people would play them more. Every class has at least one card that people call "OP" or "unfair." (Not saying that Mana Tide Totem is OP and every neutral card is strictly worse than the class cards, but they're expected to be better in most cases.)
EDIT: He was nerfed because EVERY control deck was using him and the fact that people could get their card at the end of their turn made it instant value if they drew. (0/4 for 2: draw a card is really good, and tough to remove early, at least if you're lucky.)
I still like him in control decks. A coined Pagle Turn1 is still strong and its like a Shieldbearer with Mega-Taunt. Its not as powerful as he used to be, but totally underrated right now.

Yeah, guess I am resisting the truth. 400 just seems weak when I need a useful legendary. 1600 is painful.
