I’ve had a lot of requests, on the previous post and multiple instances on my Duels Guide, to make tier lists/deck lists for Duels. I’m not against doing this. The guide I write for Hearthpwn has mostly general advice and doesn’t list specific strategies for the sake of simplicity.
The main reason I haven’t yet is because I don’t have any raw data to use to back up any of my points. It would 100% be based on my personal experience. However, I have 12 win runs for eight classes and 11 for the other two (not trying to flex, just stating my credentials). I believe I could give really helpful advice for racking up those Duels wins. It would include personal starting deck suggestions, drafting strategies, and significant combos.
If you’re interested in a more detailed article for Duels strategy and don’t mind that it’s all based on my opinion, I’m all for it. As a Man of the People, I’m here to help!

I’m somehow up to 6 wins with a Voidfiend-based Priest deck using Shadow Word: Void and I’m really liking the weird, different feel of the deck. Early Tour Guide plays get the leeching up and running quickly, and using the treasure on something early with 3 or 4 health has often been enough to swing things for a win. Buffs from Power Word: Feast as well as Lightsteed help to keep the Voidfiends up long enough to sometimes get north of 10 health for me. It seems like people don’t quite know how to handle the little dudes yet and they live far longer than they have any right to. I’m not saying the deck is GOOD, but it certainly is an enjoyable take on the class. I’m sure by themselves, the Voidfiends are too slow to win a game-perhaps next time I will put C’thun in as an actual win condition. Has anyone else tried out Voidfiend Priest setup?

It’s based on Mark’s OTK deck with it. Master’s Call is used for specific minion discovery, not pulling three beasts in this case. You use Shan’do Wildclaw to make a third Porcupine through copying, have them all die, then use Undatakah plus either Brann (picks up 6 deathrattles) or Umbra/Rivendare to trigger a stupid amount of deathrattle procs to shoot everything down. Stitched Trackers help you discover copies of pieces to get to the combo faster. It takes some decision making along the way and it’s tough against aggro like all combo decks, but VERY rewarding when you pull it off and watch the spines fly.

I love porcupine decks! I’m trying out an OTK deck with Undatakah but I want to also create a viable midrange-y kind of deck using the little guys as well.

I desperately want Bolvar so I can start messing around with deck ideas like yours. Hoping to try this out someday!

Finally! A token DH deck that looks fun! As soon as I manage to pull/craft Expendable Performers and Zai, I’m trying this one out. Thank you!

As far as I can tell she is based on Zai, the Outcast from WoW, a jinyu. They’re some kind of fish-people other than Naga who were introduced in Mists of Pandaria.

Damn, I still need to get Porcupines and the Crescent but this is the kind of hunter I’ve been wanting to make since pulling Shand’o and Zixor! Hoping I can make it sooner rather than later!
