This was also the first thing the buff made me think of. Have you tried it since the patch? The biggest thing that worried me about the potential Odd version of secret pally was losing out on both deck-sorting methods (Order in the Court and Lorekeeper Polkelt) in order to keep secrets at the bottom of the deck for better draws. I haven’t gotten around to trying out the deck yet so I’m curious how it has felt.
Also, I’m probably going to try to jam Runi, Time Explorer into the deck when she is released.
Just glad to see people continuing to work on the deck despite the early grumbling and complaining people were doing. I’ve been having a blast with a Wild version for fun that goes in on the deathrattles…Teron Gorefiend, Death Growl and Yelling Yodeler have led to some pretty hilarious results.
Landed on this exact list after tinkering with Roffle’s latest version from last week. How has Spikeshell felt for you? I realized I’m using it more to double up a Crypt Keeper to stop early aggro rather than Guff. Still a good use for it, but not what I expected when trying cards out.
I believe all of these minions that discount themselves don’t apply the discount until they hit your hand proper. It’s why Shirvallah still dealt 25 when drawn with Holy Wrath despite having cast spells earlier in the game. It’s the intended design.
I get it. I still want to try though, I was thinking quest as well. I love Demonslayer Kurtrus so I would love to see him work in tandem with a ridiculous idea like this one.
You would have to blow up the deck and play Proving Grounds on the same turn as your last card right? Maybe an Emperor tick on both cards…but then you have an Emperor on board.
This, a thousand times over. People are making assumptions and stating them as if they are fact. We know very little about the pvp mode thus far in Mercs, and for all we know the fears that are being stated now won’t be an issue at launch. Or maybe they will be! We just don’t know yet. I wish people could have a wait and see attitude before making conclusions. If it launches and these problems are there, fine. Then at least we will know for sure. I just wish the temperature could come down a little.
Been having a blast so far, but the list I’m using still has a lot of optimization to go. Would love to make some kind of wild Feral Druid deck with the side quest and all of the hero attack support or try my hand at Odd Druid….whatever the hell that deck is supposed to be.
Unpacked a gold copy of the quest with my bundle and I’ve been having a blast. Guff is the best and I just love the silly bastard. While I haven’t tried your list exactly yet, I agree with the Northshire Farmer choice. The list I came up with also is running Mark of the Spikeshell for immediate copies playable in the next turns, what are your thoughts on the card?
Thanks for the list and giving this quest some love!

Genn does NOT work with quests.

That’s…not what he said. Like, at all. The title of this thread is misleading.

This is literally the worst brawl ever made.

Exactly this. This is the Neeru support I didn’t even think of that I desperately want.
