Unannounced Game Mode Changes - No More Separate Casual Modes
In a somewhat less shocking development than initially stated in this article, Blizzard has removed Casual game mode from being able to be queue'd from the specific Game Modes and has instead created a separate Casual Mode section where you can queue for Casual games.
There is no indication of this anywhere, but when queing you are actually always matched with decks from the same Game mode and not cross game modes as the text in the screenshots below might lead you to believe (and had us thinking this was the case at first).
The Images below will explain things in more detail.
View for Game Modes Choice
View for Standard Game Mode
Notice how the top left deck, which is for Classic Game mode is greyed out and how the Wild Decks all say "Convert".
View for Casual Game Mode
Notice how the top left deck, which is for Classic Game mode is playable and how the Wild Decks and Standard decks are playable too.
That's the core set
thanks for the golden FITB cards!

Those are Core cards my friend..., you achieved any condition, like level with hero, total wins, etc., so the game already awarded you, and you can use them after expansion is released.
And, I don't want to crush your dreams, but, you will have to open packs to get cards from new expansion.
i think its 5000 wins total (combined) across the 10 classes gets you the golden classic neutral legendaries for the core set which isn't out yet. 500 wins per class for each class classic legendary
Actually this was kinda announced. back at Blizzconline they did say in passing that there would be 4 modes "Standard, Wild, Classic, and Casual" and back then I was like "does that mean there will only be one casual?" Casual has been a mess for awhile, so it's not like I am going to cry tears over it, but it does seem kind of odd. I almost wonder if it's a backend thing. because there were four modes before (standard ranked, standard casual, wild ranked, and wild casual) so I have to wonder if they just replaced casual Standard with classic mode on the back end of the coding.
If you queue with a Wild deck you'll face Wild decks.
If you queue with a Standard deck you'll face Standard decks.
If you queue with a Classic deck you'll face Classic decks.
Good to know man, thanks.
I was playing a wild deck and faced a classic one, so.....
sik this change is needed nice
This sucksEdit: It was explained that there ARE seperate queues for casual mode. The game just does that on its own
There are also many unannounced bugs...
they kinda warned about them like yesterday or something
That's why i said unannounced. They warned about some bugs, but there are many more.
