posted a message on 1200 dust or a Golden Baku ?

So I got the regular Baku, and the math is:

    - If I left it alone, I got 1600 dust and keep a regular Baku

    - If I craft a golden Baku, then I dust the regular, I got 400 dust and keep a shiny golden Baku

I'm pondering between 2 choices, I'm leaning toward a shiny golden Baku for collection.

So what would you do? 1200 dust more or a more Shiny beautiful Baku?

Maybe he had a bunch of shield slams and he wanted to be prepared? I honestly can never see that as the right path

May be Reckless Fury turn 3 to clear my .... 1 and 2 cost minions .... if I even have one.

Someone who has the "Use your Hero Power 20 times" gold-quest?

That would be the ultimate lets use Arena cash to earn Quest cash :D.  Actually you could be right and that's why he BMing the whole game may be to signal me that "hey hey, I have a quest to finish, so lets just keep me Armouring up"

    Quote from Fierytear >>

Maybe he misread a card and tried to coin it, then with 2 mana might aswell.

Yeah most likely, and then he is so pissed with himself that he kept BMing the whole game.

posted a message on Who play coin into Armor turn 1 ??

I just got out of a match at 3/2, so this guy should at least win 3 matches as well.  He is a warrior and he coin into Armour turn 1! and he keeps Greetings me every turn after that.

He actually armour up 3 consecutive turns and only playing normally from turn 4.  I was thinking he may have war path to strike me down by turn 6 or Brawl ready at turn 5, but no board clear happen at all.

Needless to say, the match ended on turn 8 with me winning but just so weird, he kept playing, he kept BM gretting, and no concede, play like normal from turn 4.  What was his deal?

Dude, and it is worth it that they work their ass to give you to play for free? Give them some credit man, give them some money so they can pay the developer to make games for you.

If you not going to pay then grind for gold, it is still free for you.

    No greed, period!

posted a message on Where is Da Undatakah now?
    Quote from WhiteNoise >>

Da Undatakah is too slow. He will probably also be too slow after the rotation. Also, he is too weak against silence. He is more of a meme card than anything else. Let's see if the rotation changes that.

After reading everyone opinions, I guess the main issue here is that it is slow, by turn 8 the match probally is over in this fast meta.  Too bad, I probally will just play with it for fun, I love to be able to pull off the Cube Da Undatakah in my deathrattle hunter deck.

Quick question, for Druid infinite combo: Astral Tiger and Silver Vanguard, what if the Da Undatakah when death activate the Silver Vanguard deathrattle first and then the Astral Tiger then I will not be able to pull out Da Undatakah immediately right? So it is like a 50 50 chance of be able to put Da Undatakah in the deck and immediatelly pull him out?

I just opened Da Undatakah, so hype up about it.  I was thinking about using it in my (only) viable deathrattle Hunter, or build a Deathrattle Rogue.

But then I dont see any tier 1 or tier 2 deck use it, I wonder why?  Is it just not good? the effect doesn't get trigger as much?

Very interesting, I have similar problem: 24 spells play before 15 turns but: I don't have Shadow Visions nor Grand Archivist.

    GO!

Play Gadgetzan Auctioneer and load up your deck with every 0-2 cost spell available. (Choose Wild mode to increase the selection)
I can't recall exactly how many you can get through in one go, but assuming the auctioneer sticks on the board, you can probably get through at least that many spells well within 15 turns.

Playing druid will give the best cards to keep your mana going with cards like Biology Project etc

    Quote from Horkinger >>

In theory (e.g. with a friend): spell Druid with gadgetzan auctioneer is able to cast all spells before turn 15

I will try this idea, thanks guys.

    GO!

Elemental Unstable Evolution Shaman. Pray you get a radiant elemental from Menacing Nimbus or Earthen Might.

Nice, unfortunately, I don't have Unstable Evolution card either.

posted a message on Reminder: Lunar Festival Ends Soon & Season of Rastakhan Begins

    Hi Fluxflasher,

I think there is a mistake here: on the site it said:

Our Lunar New Year celebration only lasts through February 14 (19:00 CET)

By conversion it translates to: Feb 14, 10:00 AM PST (california).  So it is actually not ending on Feb 13 PST.

posted a message on Lunar New Year quest ending question

So the ending date is 19:00 CET Feb 14th.  My question is:

    - Does all the lunar quests disappear? or just the dust disappear? or there is just no NEW lunar quest?

If they all disappear then I will finish them all before the end time.  If they stay and just no NEW one then I can do it at my leisure pace with the new regular daily quest.

I like the idea of copying out deck code, I usually have this same problem too.  I also realize that sometime we only need that one deck for specialy purpose that we may only play it once a month, I just want to keep it "just in case"

Keep him, definitely one of the best legendary, any minions can have Rush is so powerful, he is almost like a Soft Taunt, a must destroy card for your opponent, if he stays alive, your opponent is in a heap of trouble next turn.

posted a message on Arena Match Making and draft Theory

I have been thinking about the pool of Arena players.

    - Good players will obviously want to play more, usually average 5 wins+

    - Bad players will get discouraged and will play less to not play at all, usually average < 3 wins

So if only good players keep winning and bad players keep losing then we will end up with a very limited pool of only good Arena players.  That obviously is not healthy to promote the PlayMode from Blizzard's standpoint.  So what would they do? Here are some theories:

    - Some say Blizzard use bots to play at low wins rate to help players achive at least 1 - 2 wins so ppl have some hope.  I can see this happen.

    -  My theory is Blizzard draft fix and match making fix to balance out good and bad players.  For bad players, which Blizz could identify through Arena win rate record, for example, player A has just come back of a 1-3 and has a lifetime win rate of 2.3 wins.  Blizz can then up the draft picks to help this player has higher chance to get more good cards in the next run.  And during the match making, Blizz can also match him with player not only have similar wins up to the point on that run but also ppl with similar lifetime win rate as well.

The opposite can be applied to Good Players, which I have seen some posts rant about this: a case where after a 12 wins run, they immediately suffer some bad 2 3 wins runs.  This from my theory is the way Blizz can identify this player B has a lifetime win rate of 5.8 wins and just got a good run, let balance him out so player A above can have some joy too by giving player B the next draft of low quality buckets and match him with good players like him.

This way both player A and players B will still be somewhat happy and will continue to play on and thus enlarging the player pool.  What do you think?
