I figured in addition to Bloodmage Thalnos , I think that you're right, it doesn't need much more removal as is. I swapped in a couple tar creepers and the 11 mana storm elemental as an alternative target for Greater Sapphire Spellstone and it is already performing more consistently. Much thanks to everyone
What are thoughts on the new shaman card that lets you summon a basic totem of your choice? Would it be useful for spell damage, or not worth it because of the lack of stats?
Thanks for the advice. The only reason I hadn't included Eternal Sentinel was because I lacked copies and wasn't sure if it would be worth the craft, but I think you're right. The deck needs to be less restricted by overload and all those changes would help
Hey, I need some help crafting. I have tried implementing Rockbiter Weapon with Southsea Deckhand and Greater Sapphire Spellstone, but the support around this combo could use some work. With Jade Claws already in play, its good for 22 damage on turn 10 or later, so you just need 4 cards and to survive/ deal 8 damage before then.
Rank 7 is fairly impressive considering the total % of people who actually make it there in a month. That said, part of getting that edge is being familiar enough with the meta to know what decks are being ran, what cards they have yet to play, what cards to mulligan for in certain situational match ups, and when to risk committing to the board vs. risking holding off. You are probably a lot better than you give yourself credit for, but maybe not quite as good as you originally thought. In my opinion, while climbing ladder is great and I choose to do it time to time, I think part of what is great about the game is just making a deck that you really enjoy playing and playing with it whereever you equilibrate on the ladder. I mean right now I have been playing a dragon quest priest deck that is nowhere near tier 1 or 2 it is fun every game.
Has anyone else opened duplicate commons in the same pack? I thought that along with the "no duplicate legendaries" that you couldn't get duplicates within a single pack, yet I have gotten duplicates in two packs of my first four. Did I misunderstand the new ground rules?
That said, I am already enjoying the expansion. Shout out to Blizzard.
While I do not think that this is in any way comparable to Priest of the Feast in terms of survivability or overall value, its existence (along with other cards yet to be revealed) may allow for some new priest archetypes that don't rely on Priest of the Feast for its body or ability, opening up the 4 spot for other cards.
As I read over this, it even sounds like a stretch to me though.

I think you're better off with a pirate package, you get an extra damage from your deckhand and synergy with southsea captain

I would like to like this post twice, but a comment will have to do. You are truly praise worthy. Kudos

Tech against burn mage, not exodia mage. Possibly useful in close matches with Guldan

Dragon Rogue, though I got stuck with it around rank 5

I hate how much I love this. Will it work consistently, no. Could it be memetastic, though? Yes.

Only counts as "playing" one for the quest since the other is summoned, but it's still a great card since it requires a second trade
