posted a message on Guild System

The idea sounds nice enough, but i think you would need to build gameplay around it to make it fun, like a way to compete eachother and earn stuff with that. For instance: 5 on 5 and/or 10 on 10 tournaments for quests or goodies. Adding a guild system just for chat is not really needed as you can chat with any player in your list.

For the suggested packs alone it would screw the game up for the stand-alone players.  But i do like the wild packs suggestion somehow as wild gets trashed by some overpowered cards of the past right now, that i nor not alot of people would craft.

I am a type of Djinn, so u get three wishes. There's a snag though because i will grant u just one HS wish, because, wel, i can. The HS gods told me someone got salty on luck so i landed on this musty forum somehow. Don't anger me with unrealistic wishes, i will grant the one that you deserve.

posted a message on Fun Food For Thought: No Rope?

Not to copy MTGA to much, but i'd prefer 3 times rope is "game-over" quite a bit. This would work with an ingame timer above the endbutton like with trackers already do now, so players need to watch the timers themselves. It's more like with chess, you just need to watch and hit the clock yourself or go bust.

posted a message on New Mage Spell - Blast Wave

Judging at the reactions i already saw below, Alot didn't see the cards working correctly. It actually gives you a card per "overkill" so up to 7 with a full board. This can get bonkers at times!  For once i like the rng synergy. You can read back at the revealsite

posted a message on New Paladin Minion - Zandalari Templar

It Looks like they're going for Buffadin more than just control with Immortal Prelate, the new Spirit and Loa. Enough healing tools and a wide range of cards that already are great for Buffadin like Lynessa, heck maybe even Glass Knight despite i still  think its made of glass entirely

posted a message on Is it me or do other people feel that Rastakhan's Rumble is underwhelming for a 3rd set?

I personally think people got a little used to HS's "big cards" hype. And while i get some of the salt people throw at these forums, they tend to forget to bring the pepper these days. Come on is everyone creating a thread just to point out their personal issues?! Salt threads are made for that, but please just use some pepper (creativity) and make the game fun again (i just waisted 5 opponents with my home made Kangor-Oakheart deck, including Secret hunter, Malydruid and Evenlock (so fullfilling).

The key thing is that the set is pre-made for most of the whole year, but brought to you in bits. This has some disadvantages to it. i know, but you just can't keep bringing out only really big cards like in "the Old Gods" expansion every expansion, or like "Knights of the Frozen Throne" they would impact the game too much to a point of overkill (not the new keyword). Have people forgotten about the grand tournament? It wasn't really that grand either. The buy-only expansions did their part when they came out, but did they rule the meta, no they were meh at best, but u needed it to fit in. On the next rotation, the whole game will change at once, that's why they bring the Loa's now. It's kinda a general theme that will go on into next year, while all the DK's will rotate out. I personally hated jade druid and sighed with relief when that finnaly bit the dust. Change is good, but too much change is destructive to the game.  Would they change anything, than it should be bigger sets of cards as some of the mechanics just don't shine as they could, but that brings out the point of balancing the game, which will be more difficult.

My problem with HS at the moment is that people seem to net-deck only and lose interest in off-meta decks or decent homebrews. I saw little to no play of some of the cards at times just because some streamer got his hands on a druid malygos deck. Also at first people screamed for OTK and combo decks and now they're here they're called cancerous? Then one guy makes a zoolock to combat it and that became the topic of the day? Don't start me on people blaming Shudderwock, that's just terrible, just like the decks winrate.

Maybe they shouldn't change the game, but players should change their mindset a bit? Losing is part of a game (this on has 70% winrate at best) so buckle up and come face me in the Gurubashi Arena.

(No i'm no Blizzard employee trying to advert, i'm just tired of the salt. Never use only one condiment, that makes for bland food - and did i sound whiney at all? Sorry for that)

posted a message on HS vs MTGA, and why?

For me, I played Magic since 4th edition till the Argothian series and lost interest because it's a friendbased game and my community lost interest. Now with MGTA it rekindled my love for the game. After a few weeks of playing, I think it has less comparisons with Hearthstone than assumed by many. The main difference from my point of view is that HS is very much based reactive play, while Magic is playing your own game against a player that does the same. HS is very "on board" activity, where controlling the board or doing damage fast enough will win you the game (except with OTK decks) There are many reactive cards in Magic, sure, like counters and instants for example, but whatever is on the board in stats is way less important  than in HS where it is more about effective stats. 4/12 needs 12 dmg to die, yet in magic u can just destroy or exile the thing or nuke the board with a single card. In Magic you can effectively win with a 1/1 creature while holding board, which will never happen in HS, which is in that way also more dynamic. Some mechanics frustrate me in magic though like counterspells which frustrated me from day one. It has mechanics to disrupt your opponents gameplay to much to some extent, which i find less of in HS. Magic seems more creative and HS is more actionpaced, I like both!

On the original statement of f2p, i now have 5k gold for next HS expansion. will not buy the pre-order this time. Made that with arena and one week of quests. I'm at least rank 5 so f2p is very viable and doable.  For MTGA, is also very f2p friendly, but i don't see a very good ladder experience atm. Also netdecking is also becoming a problem in Magic as well, i see ppl copying streamers, which to my taste will happen in all games to some extent.

On the point of expansion sets, I think we need way more cards per expansion, as the possibilities per expansion are quite limited.

The whole idea of these games is having fun, i hope that with the next expansion the whole salty community will come to rest a i see alot of angry or sad remarks in forums. (Also I get alot of ppl who ad me after a win just to insult me and defriend me and that is something i hope will stop, it is just childish) I dont know if i even added something to this thread, but there you go.

posted a message on Group therapy! Need to blow off steam? Mega salty? Here is the place! V2

Also Sick and tired of salty people adding you after a win, just to tell you you're this and that curseword, blaming you for BM-ing  - while you purposely dont emote anymore - but after the 5th "wow" say "well played" b4 you wreck his face? They ad you, curse you out for BM-ing and leave. Then they don't realise that you can actually report them for it, yet has Blizzard actually slapped any of them on the wrist? Too many players take this game to seriously...

posted a message on Isn't silence great at this meta?

Most Silence is actually used on something that disrupts your playstyle, not to counter your opponent. Maybe to clear that taunt to go for the kill in agro, or tech one in for advantage in control but otherwise they don't complement anything much and u have to make room in your list and lose valuable cards in the proces.

posted a message on shudderwock without grumble?

Just keep Zola in hand, make sure u play a Coppertail Imposter, ur saronites and a banker or 2 b4 u play shudderwock. At least one of your wocks get stealth until end of turn. Next turn zola the one u stealthed. This is a good workaround and also this way they can't kill all Shudderwocks most of the time. It's slower than regular and i dont know if it fits well in current agro meta, but there u go, you now have two chances to complete the combo.

Well people forget often with new expansions that alot of people rate arena value as well. For arena Omega Agent could actually be broken. Lategame with not alot of removal left you play this and people will cry.
