posted a message on New Rogue Secret - Cheat Death

So..I guess rouge won't have it's own class identity but copy other classes identity? Huh...kinda makes sense now that I look at it that way.

Secrets for rouge kinda feels like lazy design choice if you ask me though. Why give Rouge actual secrets when they can be burgled from other classes? Lol.

Jokes aside, I'm almost certain that Shadowstep is better than this in almost every situation I can think of. Same goes comparing Betrayal and the other secret that got revealed. Rouge is only getting 3 secrets so you got a pretty good idea what secret it's gonna be especially if the final secret to be revealed is worth anything.

Kinda disappointed with what Rouge got so far..Miracle and Tempo for life? I hope not..

posted a message on New Priest Minion - Duskbreaker

I'm not gonna say this is a bad card because it isn't but I do have some things to point out about this card that may end only seeing at best one copy in Wild. Aggro is nearly extinct in wild, alot of the time you'll be facing the most greediest control decks and OTK, so this card in most cases will be a dead card. In Wild it's a world where there are priests or heavy control decks to counter priest. Besides, Priest has Lightbomb which is alot better than this card in a control meta, even in an aggro meta to a certain extent.

As for standard...we shall see. Unless there is some good aggro cards getting printed and decks with it become tier 1, then 2 copies of this and alot of people playing Dragon Priest should push aggro almost entirely out. If that's not the case then This card will see no play and Big Priest and Razakus will be the decks to play in a control meta.

Bad timing to start up again, new player experience has barely changed since then, I'd imagine the returning player would find himself in the same situation now.

posted a message on New Warlock Legendary - Rin, the First Disciple

Alot of people say this card is very slow and and won't see play and while it may be very slow for the payoff the rewards you can get off this card is surprisingly beneficial to Control style warlocks, specifically the ones that go for more deathknight synergy. Here is the many things this card patches up some of Control Warlock's weaknesses.

    1. A taunt, the decks could use another taunt. You can get this off of stonehill defender so that's a thing..Warlock has some pretty good taunts.

    2. More demons for DK synergy

    3. Something to do during turns where this isn't much to do and end up with alot of unspent mana..that can happen sometimes since alot of the time CW is reacting to your turns.

    4. You can potentially win the fatigue war in control matchups with this, and CW can struggle in that regard, also providing a big minion in the late game, which can be devastating to your opponent if they had used up alot of their hard removal.

    5. And finally..Giving CW a chance to beat OTK decks. One of the biggest weaknesses the decks have is not being able to defend against these and apply enough pressure. While this may not go off in time before your opponent kills you since they'll be drawing most of their deck fast, there are times where your opponent has a key card they need to draw and you slam down the Big Demon guy and all hope for your opponent is lost.

posted a message on Jungle Giants - fun card to play?

I ran a Jungle Giants deck with the whole Beast Synergy. It was fun to slam down a Hydra followed by a Menagerie Warden next turn and completely blow out the opponent lol. Never managed to pull that off after the quest was complete though..deck kinda relies exactly on UI to get going since its hard to fit nourish in this deck I ran.

posted a message on How to deal with highlander priest?

Honestly, it's pointless to tech against priest. No amount of 4 attack minions, dragons, and mind breakers will save you, they'll still burst you down somehow. Honestly I have teched out the ass for razakus but no matter how lucky I got with draws and pressuring the priest I'd end up getting killed at 20 health on the spot, or the priest pulls clutch removal Everytime...like literally Everytime..

Warrior lost alot of it's good armor gaining tools over time so just trying to tank the burst is almost impossible. Bring It On! is a bad idea the potential to reduce Velen's cost and other minions that priest can vomit out for more damage.

Just play aggro decks. If not, just try to pressure them with threats as soon as you can, if neither options work then I don't know what to tell you.

It's kinda odd to say this after all the amount of people wanting priest to be good again..but this a problem that needs to be addressed.

In my personal experience playing the devil out of both the Highlander decks and the standard Demonlock decks, I would say the duplicate version is much more consistent and flexible. You can go the old Handlock style with Giants and Drakes, or the Happy Ghoul package with lots of healing. The latter is a more Tempo style aiming to get onto the board early to combat against the aggressive decks more easily (though not necessary as the decks are innately good against those Matchups)

Btw, Imp Gang Boss is a bad choice for a deck with the DK as spawning imps instead of your bigger Demons is just very bad.

Me however, I just run A Demonlock deck with a crap ton of removal such as +2 Twisting Nether, Hellfire, Blast Crystal Potion and Siphon Soul along with the standard demon package and a Medivh.

Can you share your demonlock deck? Also, don't have Mal'Ganis - so is it worth to craft it (don't play too much wild tho, bit the deck seems very interestinf :) ).
Also, do you think running demons and deathrattles (Shredders, Sludges and Sylvanas) would fit with demons?

    Here is my deck,

    Medivh Demonlock Control
Export to BBCode Export to Cockatrice Export to MarkDown Export to Html Clone this deck
    Minion (17) Ability (12) Playable Hero (1)
    Loading Collection

Originally I did run x2 Hellfire and Blastcrystal Potion but I found Priest to be a really bad matchup so I added in a Healbot and a Twilight Drake to help with that matchup. The Healbot for when the Priest tries to burst you down with the DK hero power.

Stonehill Defender I found to be a good addition to the deck over Voidwalker because you can still get a Voidwalker but the added benefit of also getting a Felguard, Lakkari Felhound for DK synergy (may have to use Voidcaller's effect to get the Felhound out) and potentially getting other good taunts like The Lich King, Tar Lurker, and Sludge Belcher. A good body early in the game to fight against aggro.

To answer to your questions, yes for this deck Mal'Ganis is a worthy craft it helps you get good trades with your demons already out in play and survivability. It is so good to have it revived with the DK along with all your other big Demons. I haven't tried an N'zoth version but I don't see why when you have a Demon N'zoth slapped with a powerful heropower, It's more than enough in control matchups. It makes more sense to me to make good use out of Warlock's good removal spells with Medivh to give you tempo off of them. N'zoth decks are fairly common sight in Wild so having Twisting Nether is almost a must for any Control Warlock decks.

People playing Pirate Warrior netdecks in casual are proof that there is pure evil in this world.

Even if it's not trolling and they can't afford expensive decks...but why do they just make use of such a strong and meta defining deck somewhere actually useful? You know in FUCKING LADDER

Even if the card was to be nerfed to 6 Mana it would still be playable. There is no reason to nerf it anyways.

Are we sure it was intended?

It is strange that such a change occurs with no patch notes about it.

Well, the card wasn't like this before and there have been no other reported card changes like this so hardly seems like a bug. Stuff like this has happened before where some things have been left out in patch notes. Dunno why.
