most likely cuz that card is never played in a deck. thus theres no meta data for it. all these numbers are based on win/loss in decks these cards are played in. so whizbang is pretty much 0/0 in the stats cuz you cant really play it

Turn 1, Biology Project and Wild Growth. now you have 4 mana crystals total.

Turn 2, play Juicy Psychmelon with 1 mana to spare. maybe play another biology project and some more removal.

Turn 3, with 6-7 mana, start playing all the cards you just got. while your opponent only has 4 mana to play with at this point. the possibilities are insane. thought this is only possible if you had those specific cards in your opening hand. but still wow

posted a message on Dean Ayala on Shudderwock: Revisiting the Topic Early Next Week

the main issue isnt about how strong the card is, it is how long it takes to play one of them.

since the card plays every battlecry that you've played so far, and with the ability to double it (which in turn allows to apply that to the next Shudderwock that gets played) it is uncommon for it to play over 20 battlecrys per Shudderwock that gets played.

for reference, just think if someone played Yogg-Saron, Hope's End multiple times and you were guaranteed that it would play all of the spells. it would take forever to get through and could potentially break things. or run someone's timer out skipping their turn.

posted a message on Nefarian Rises is This Week's Brawl! Play Hearthstone Cooperatively!

I really love these types of brawls, gives a new way to play, but I honestly can hate some of the partners I get. I really wish for this brawl you have a way to communicate with your allies, especially when they do something so dumb multiple times.

I had 1 partner end up milling me by playing 2 coldlight oracles back to back making me lose 2 key cards. I didnt bother playing the rest of that one. then another partner wasting heals on my stone gargoyle when it was at 14 hp, the thing heals at the start of my turn, nefarian cant do 14 damage to the minion, unless you pop his phase. and then I had another partner play northshire cleric when he was fatiguing when I had my stone gargoyle out and lets the northsire cleric live for 2 turns while healing her instead of just running it into nefarian so it would die.

I can understand that people who play brawl may be new but all it takes is a second to read the card to see what it does. and if we had a way to communicate with them, we could have taught them why their play was extremely bad

posted a message on The Void Singularity is This Week's Brawl! Get a Free Kobolds Card Pack!

wow this brawl is so buggy.

it seems like if you play any deathrattle minion and its the only thing on board, it bugs out and does the end of turn effect twice. at least I think thats what the trigger was.

I played a Savannah Highmane and it was the only card on board. at the end of turn, it destroyed it, created it's 2 Hyena and the void singularity with highmane's stats and then destroys the board again, thus creating a 16/14 minion.

the same thing happened when I played a lone Infested Wolf and a lone Rat Pack. each of them just made a really large minion at the end. surely this was not intended and is totally broken and bonkers.

posted a message on New Card Reveal: Silver Vanguard

I think people are totally missing the point and why this card's stats are so bad.

so are there counters to this card, of course there are, you can silence it, you can sap it, you can take control of it. but what is it's strengths?

well the way the creators of the cards are seeing it is probably a deterrent to board clears. similar to how the eggs were or those new minions that summon something if they die on the enemy's turn.

you are paying 7 mana to get an 8 mana minion and a 3/3 minion as well. so really you are getting quite a discount, except the cost is time. the game has been evolving to try to be a slower game and trying to be more control oriented and in some cases its been doing well at that. making this slow card maybe possible.

so if this card does survive the 1 turn, and you are able to kill it by trading it into something, this means you just got a free 8 mana minion and also 8+ mana to cast more. allowing for more combo potential.  for example, you can cast Al'Akir the Windlord and also cast buff cards to add more damage, Charged Devilsaur and attack face if need be, while also buffing it with additional cards. Grommash Hellscream and still be able to play additional cards to buff him and trigger his enrage. Rotface and ping him a few times for additional legendaries. Sindragosa and still have mana to pop those frozen champions.

though I am not saying this is going to be an amazing card, just that it has potential.

posted a message on Lady Deathwhisper Boss Guide - The Lower Citadel

can someone confirm or not if this is a bug? I gave the dragon taunt and did not heal it, so it was still damaged. but on the enemy turn they simply just killed her.

im assuming this is intended since they have no direct damage and no removals. thus with the dragon sitting there with taunt and can not be attacked, she cant do anything at all then. but then the wording makes it wrong too. can someone confirm?

posted a message on An Evil Exchange is This Week's Brawl

I also believe this brawl is extremely broken and unbalanced. but I havent seen many people talk about why it is so. so i'll shed on some light why I feel this is so broken.

Hero power. in the past kel'thuzad had a very powerful hero power that would make their win easy if used correctly. as long as you are playing strong minions only, you would be able to resummon any of those that died for only 2 mana each turn, thus increasing the cap of how many copies you can have of a special unit. this was extremely powerful in the early game but eventually gets weaker as more useless units die. the new necromancy hero power is extremely weaker now because it only draws a random minion that comes from Naxxramas. these units are not discounted and most of the time are much lower in power level or require synergies that do not exist in kel'thuzad's deck. making this change to hero power extremely weak. not to mention you pay 2 mana to get another card but with no discounts and thus you can look at it as paying 2 extra mana to play a minion.

Rafaam's hero power on the other hand is much more powerful being able to draw any rare, epic, or legendary card depending on the amount of staff pieces you've casted. sure you spend 2 mana extra to get an upgrade, but each rank will increase the discount at each tier. thus the investment is more better. plus rare, epic, and legendary cards are usually more higher in power level than a random Naxxramas card. this is why Rafaam's hero power is far superior to kel'thuzad's current hero power.

another thing that makes rafaam's  deck better is the fact that he has so many removal and control. rafaam has 3 aoe cards, 2 of which are 0 mana cost, he also has 2 types of hard removal, one that transforms a minion into a 2/1 snake and another that destroys a random minion, both of which are also 0 mana. with his hero power, he can get fairly strong minions for cheap and thus continue to flood the board. this is how he wins

with kel'thuzad, he can get some fairly strong minions, but majority of them require a board to be present in order to get full effect from it. such as noth, and grobbulous, or they would require to survive the turn in order to be useful. but with rafaam's amount of control, this is an extremely hard task to accomplish, and with the lack of aoe in the deck, rafaam can easily control the board much quicker than kel'thuzad can.

The only way i've been able to win with a kel'thuzad deck is if the opponent does unfavourable trades, and lets key units such as noth or grobbulous live, and let those units help snowball out of control. Kel'thuzad really needs to have board control in order to win, but the problem is that he has no control cards to help him compete with rafaam's ability to control the board.

This is why I feel this brawl is broken and extremely unbalanced.
