Hunter, rogue don't have healing or good mass removal.
DH have the best draw in the game, the cheap hero power, very good weapons, healing, the more cheap and effective mass removal and now don't even need a board anymore to give massive damage.
The class need to be nerfed again?
No. Just because one person (or thousands) think that DH is OP doesn't mean it needs to be nerfed.
This expansion sucks so much that I don't even care. Indeed I am not playing. Even if it is started now, I already want new cards, these are pack fillers.
Probably because A FREAKING AMUSEMENT PARK RIDE is a lot harder to change than A SODDING FLASHING EFFECT IN A GAME. Try and god damn think here about how minor of a change it is, how it ACTUALLY will not impact you WHATSOEVER, and how its removal WILL impact those that suffer from it?
Kindly F off if you are so damn entitled that you think garbage like this should stay in the game because "omg don't ever change things to make it accessible to others."
I never said that Blizzard should not attempt to change it.
I never said that the effect should even stay in the game.
What I did say was that there are a great deal of things in the world that can trigger a seizure and many of them fly under the radar like a ride at Disneyland, but this one didn't.
I really think they should change it if it's a known issue, but I am pointing out that there's a lot of stuff in life that doesn't even get noticed and if it does...it quite often doesn't get fixed...so you can get your panties out of the twist they're in now. Take your mask off in the shower and be sure to give yourself a hug and you'll feel better soon.
You being serious? Your solution is that people with disabilities should just find a different hobby?
Imagine if you took that attitude towards everything in life "I don't want to change, I want the world to change for me!"
Yes it sucks if you or someone you know has epilepsy, but there's a reason many games have disclaimers/warnings and EULA's that essentially indemnify companies of any liability and warn you ahead of time.
Yes, most companies WILL try to avoid unnecessary stuff to "trigger" seizures, but to act so infantile about your (or someone else's disability) is frankly speaking...bullshit.
If someone gets seasick easily THEY either avoid going on boats, or THEY go buy medicine, they don't board the boat and then demand that the captain provide them with the medicine and demand that he sail as smooth as possible.
If you think it's right for people to demand like that, that's how you end up with a society full of Karen's.
You're absolutely right. "I don't want to change, I want the world to change for me!" Where does the sense of entitlement come from?
Got news for ya'll...you're entitled to two things...Jack and $h** and Jack left town.
I know it sounds harsh but... so many games have disclaimers. Is gaming really the best hobby to has when you have seizure? I mean its almost everywhere. I can understand blizz in this case. No offense!
Great point...how many games actually have effects that could trigger the same thing? It's not just this one. Someone could get a seizure triggered going on a ride at Disneyland, but I don't see them changing their rides.
This is a complicated and emotionally charged topic. I enjoy HS myself, this is not a 'hatepost', but I actually really dislike this change.
The gaming industry is drastically shifting at the moment. Many companies enforce new subtile ways to make tons of money using micro transaction. If you look into investor reports from activision blizzard, but also EA you'll see that the entire industry is pushing towards mobile/micro transaction/milking/whalehunting. Activision started doing Lootboxes (Cardpacks) and Season Passes within the last years. The results were always the same. People get more stuff, but the items that they get are less important and random. This means: You get more stuff that you don't need. You pay more for less. You need to pay more to get the same. People will maybe downvote this because they don't want to hear it, so let me tell you this. Let's talk about this in 1-2 years, as a recap. You'll get what I mean and there will be no discussion because everyone that is invested in HS will understand the system. Just look at the CoD season pass - thats a great example. Its a very clever system created by addiction psychologist to maximize profit.
Several years ago I made a huge reddit posts about things that HS could improve on. By now, they implemented almost everything I posted, except the monetary system. I would prefer having much cheaper access to cards, while having much more cosmetics with higher pricing (see League of Legends).
TL;DR: If they actually make it easier for F2P players.. great. But I don't believe that, based on Activision Blizzards past business decisions and investor calls. I think the opposite will happen.
You hit the nail on the head. "Its a very clever system created by addiction psychologist to maximize profit." Nothing else matters to a game creator.
Why are there always people who cry like babies when new, innovative changes come? My God! Go back to kindergarten and let your mothers change you and just stop playing before you drown in your tears.
Great job blizzard !!!
So true. So many whiners. You can tell just by how many times your post got down voted.
Why? It'll likely be mostly or completely virtual and people will just pay to view it online. No need for them to cancel it regardless of what happens with Covid-19.
I just think that there is such an overwhelming mass of people who are completely freaked out beyond any rational fear and will likely continue to cancel and postpone life until they "feel" safe. The rest of us can't wait to get back to normal and stop living in fear.
They should be able to pull off a virtual Blzzcon since that removes all potential fingers from being pointed back to Blizzard for someone getting ill, but the rest of us have to comply with the irrational masses whether we want to or not.

If you have a pack to open...why would you save it?

For me the absolute best card animation and sound goes to...
Reliquary of Souls
I had to craft it just for the card animation.
Runner ups...
Deathwing, Mad Aspect after he comes flying in and starts clearing the board.
Dragonbane always makes a grand entrance. Never get tired of that animation.
Rattlegore's shout is one of a kind...where is the silence when you need it!?
Tyrantus, King Krush, Reno the Relicologist, and Patches the Pirate and Deathwing always make a grand entrance too.
Lord Jaraxxus After he dies. One of the best audio deaths.

Nice deck. So far I'm 15 and 5. 75% win rate.
Went from silver to platinum 10 in 20 games. Thanks!
