    posted a message on Shaman earth shock: still 1 mana?

    From what ive been gatheri g from the nerfs, silence is being more costly in overall card design, so why has our earth shock not been nerfed as well, not to mention priest's 0 cost silence?

    Is shaman and priest just getting "cheep silence" as class features? Or are we just awaiting our turn?

    Thoughts?

    I like the casino mage idea there. You setup the 1 damage a hit armor, which wont turn off until the battlecry is over even if it gets fireballed, so that even if every spell you dont want to hit you is mitigated, then drop this and let the insanity happen. Its not a completely horrible card, its just something you have to be careful about playing.

    It honestly needs more. Untargetablity or that when it does it resummons the 2 blood minons or it full resets its stats every turn, or hell even taunt to just make sure someone doesnt attempt to counter burst past it. Its not worth it as it is. Nice card idea, but it needs more to make it feel worth trying to get out

    The strength of cards will be more interedting in wild, as i see it turning slowing into mtg legacy gameplay, where its decks that don't  need more than 4-6 total mana in a turn to play some combo that will wreck some and otk, while standard is going to be the thematically setup tournament style that most tcgs enjoy. They said they plan to try and keep this game going for at least 10 years right, well, it's year 3 now right? This is just starting to get into the meat of things. This year will be nothing like the next, and the one after that will be more different still. The game was way to aggro for its own good right now, with small mana cards and strict tempo decks commanding the scene. The control style they wish to bring into the game this year will likely balance out into wild and give that mode its own control style as well, and help keep things generally balanced. Im betting next year, we will be seeing more combo style cards coming to help that archtype too, as it almost non-existant here. I mean we have archtyped synergy decks, but no real combos beyond the high damage swings like druid roar boards or shaman doomhammer with rockbiter.

    Guys guys guys, its just gonna be mana cost increases on our little aggro dudes and roar. The invervate is likely to only be used for creatures, and bgh is getting nerfed because it works against the entire theme of wog, which is setting up massive 10 mana minon plays.

    This card's value is entirely dependant of what effect rusty hook comes with. What if it says can only attack minons, okay then smorc wont use it now, what if it has a cursed blade drawback where you extra damage? Thats really gonna hurt.

    This card's worth is entirely  based on rusty hook

    Tell that to shaman. We didnt even effect the meta since gvg has happened. The only thing we have done is make a tier 1.5 aggro deck meta wise. Aggro sucks in shaman, we have no good recovery opitions card advantage wise
