the card is only doing about 11 battcries a play. the problem is that hte card is spamed to win. so in effect, your seeing 22 battlecries from the doubling effect every time the card is played.

that's why you need to play the battlecry elemental before it, using fire plume to make it cost one. a minor amount of setup to create a massive swinging ten mana play. that is pretty much guaranteed to then add those copies to your hand, and if it adds murrmoring, it's gonna be 0 mana. so an elemental can bring in the needed effects behind it.
regardless. this card doesn't need to be an otk, it just can be. you can instead just have a 9 mana card that does a lot of bonkers stuff and then sets up a repeat of the action.

rock paper scissors is the preferred TCG meta style, as it allows for adjustment and multiple decks to fit inside the work space. this means in a 9 type game, a majority of the choices can be 'meta relevant'

the game always favors control in design, because aggro is a self designing deck type that just uses cheep cards at the basic level. a good early minion with decent stats, is worth a spot in an aggro, even if it has a control effect. that just helps.

it's called gambling. you don't have to try it, you can play your way. if you get every quest you deem worthy to complete, can you gain an average amount, and are still in the drawing anyway. if you spam complete quests, you get the maximum potential draws, and you only get one re-roll a day anyway, and if you think about it, the only quest you can't afford to reroll is the last day set. so your rerolled quests still the the chance to roll out higher than 40. and you need to complete one every day anyway to maximize your gold production via quests.
the dip will likely not reach 1 million in worth of gold, and even if it does, it's a free currency, and that's the risk of a gamble.

that card was in a tiered meta deck. it was a midrange big shaman that just needed fuel. that card sealed the long game.
then big jade druid came onto the scene, and pushed out all long term big decks. big priest came in afterwards not because it played a long game, but because it cheated out big minions early. that and raza priest made the resource gain pointless.
so a card that makes totems on the board, is different, but potent.

Didn't see it mentioned yet, so here goes: Hagatha, the Witch. She needs minions in order to generate spells. This generates two very cheap minions. Seems like this card would be auto-include with everyone who chooses to utilize Hagatha. Edit: Great job on the video Alliestrazsa!

Probably new cancerous archetype. The easiest quest for now because of Call in the Finishers.
1 turn - 1 mana murloc
2 turn - 2 mana murlock
3 turn - coin + finishers
4 turn - finishers
5 turn - megafin and hand full of murlocsYou forgot to play the quest on turn 1...

Overload is a totally different beast than Taunt and Deathrattle though.
Overload has a much smaller card pool to select from than either of the other two, and a lot of the Overload cards are amazing removal of some form or another. Need a big minion? This can find you one. Need a heal? This can get you the new 3/6. Need a board wipe? This can get you one. Weapon? Have a Doomhammer.
There are 3 weapons, 6 minions, and 9 spells that have Overload in them in Standard. I'm not going to try to do the math, but the odds of Stormforged Axe, Totem Golem, and Forked Lightning being your picks are slim. This card is pure value. And these are ALL class cards so usually better cardsI know, right? This card right here, THIS F-ING CARD, is exactly how to tell apart those who play Shaman because they like the class and those who play it because it's FotM.

I would pay for:
A campaign mode (New ways to play that aren't limited time frame game modes)
Better ways to play with my friends (New quests or game modes)
A new tournament mode (Some new format or way to battle)
A new mode to be able to play "doubles" with friends (2v2 battles please oh please!)
Not listed that I would pay for:
Class Challenge battle (Play an expansion Class Challenge for reward; Can only win any single class once, 3 strikes and you're out)
Achievements (Fun medals/badges for doing uncommon/unusual tasks during games or Class Challenges)
Rotating Arena monthly changes (lowered entry cost/ability to pick hero/can re-roll deck/other perks)
Ability to receive old rewards for a fee (rank 20 card backs, promotional heroes)
I would not pay for:
More customization of characters, cards, etc. (Not really worth it with the current design space)
Better matchmaking, based on cards held, etc. (Too much work vs not enough payoff)
Guilds / Clans (This is a virtual CCG, not an MMO)
More in-game help with deck design (Why bother when there are so many sources online)
Interested in but would not pay for:
Better ways to find new friends (Need better way to add people besides "last opponent played")
More chat features (We don't need non-FL chat but more emotes would be nice)
A tutorial (We already get a tutorial that we can't play again, so really why?)
To play offline (I know HS is meant to be played vs people but why can't AI matches be played offline?)

i dont get it when people say shaman has so strong class cards so they cant have draw, shoudnt shaman be like... the best class ig they had so strong cards? the only card thats really op is hex and thats it, yes they have other good cards but its not lile other classes doesnt have it. they need some reliable card draw, but thats just one of many issues.
The design concept of shaman, based on the original cards, is trading efficiently to make up for the lack of card draw. This made shaman top tier early on, because cards like Fire Elemental, Flametongue Totem, and Feral Spirit would consistently trade 2-for-1. But then they just didn't release any cards for shaman that fit that philosophy (until Fireguard Destroyer), while every other class got improvements to their early game. This made it harder to gain board control early game, which in turn made it harder to make efficient trades. Which led to shaman in its current state, where powercreep took away its only way of getting card advantage.
tl;dr: shaman doesn't use draw to get card advantage, it uses trading (but needs more early game to trade with)
