Have you considered trading out 1 thunderbluff for a kodo rider i case you already have hero power switched and deck totems used up? The control shaman saj played with for a few months did the same early on, as it also relyed on charged hammer power, and used mrgl'ton.
Honestly i can accept that shaman can be a "i dont care about tempo" class type. It woild be special. But we need more powerful heavy slams to put in such a deck. Neptulion, for as much as people dont care for it, is a great example of that type of card. Its a big ass monster, that gives 4 litteral cards, that all are more minons, thats huge in terms of continued board pressure. We need more shit like that.
Hey guys, dont attack them for this one. It really is better for the overall health of the game. Even they made it so that its only 3 or less, lets say they release a 3 attack power windfury neutral minon. Using that 3 or less rule, 2 of these, and brew masters, you have a 30 damage combo. And if your playing an otk combo, which is what patron became, youd run emperor. So lets look at that, and think about what could be possible if the brews costed 0. So, drop warsong, drop windfury. 6. Drop winfury, 12, drop brewmasters, 18, drop the windfurys again, and thats 12 more. 30 damage in one turn without warning it was waiting in hand. What would be the most reasonable way to fix that? Remove the o in the otk. Gotta nerf the auto charge.
it's a really nice deck, you should get in contact with fade2karma and see how it matches up against the shaman control deck they designed, with it's large amounts of heal and AoE, it's the perfect sparing partner to make this aggro deck work best.
The charged hammer is to close the game out, the totem power is near useless to the deck designs, so the jolt takes over and deals with minon drops. Im am usually playing it much later, like turn 8 or more, the design of the deck, even against aggro, has me reaching those last ten cards in the deck often. This is magic style control, it takes its time and passes often. In addition, with kodo rider turn ten+, you can double hero power hybusing the last charge after totem drop to jolt as well in the same turn.
The kodorider is for board swarming, its more of a win condition. The reason for no taunt is that the deck runs 4 large heals and 4 aoes, effectively negating the need for taunt if youplan ahead and play smart. while i can ignore his early and some Midgame, he cant ignore my massive assed minons, the jouster right now is a test card. Hes looking at it over a few others like sludge because of the magma giant, which cant pretty much always win a joust.
The reason why no argus is because unlike handlock who sat at low hp, we keep our number high, usually in the mid 20s.
Considering the meta, yes, we have a very aggroy and midranger build majorty. What i am saying, is that i have a control deck that has been stopping these decks cold. I rarely lose to anytuing less than another control priest, or a patron combohell, usually the first cardi play that isnt an early storm if i need it, is twlight drake beause my hand has grown to 7+ cards. I dont disagree that your deck would benifit, but i can sit with pretty much no field until 4, maybe even 6, because of the control style ive been working with. Namely because elemental destruction is way stronger than it seems. If you want to see what i mean, i can show you. With in meta proof that it works.
Funny part is, ive got a really good cotrol shaman deck ive been watching climb, and it started doing a ton better once he removed the fire elementals to make room for more endgame minons. Its a midrange tool, so dont just assume its the best thing we have going for the class, its only good in a certain type of build now. We can not assume card x or y is best in shaman anymore if we wish to reinvigorate the potential of this class.
Actually didnt know about the drake. Not a ton of knowledge with wow lore and creatures.
Shale spider isnt bad, not by a long shot, i was just voicing my thoughts on how it would most often play out. It actually would enable low curve overload decks to actually work, most of the overload decks ive found to work have been crusher style, so things with big fat butts.
On the legendary, i was just throwing out ideas, sorry, i didnt mean earth elemental litterally, i was just thinking. I like the 1/2 idea. A special totem for a legendary sounds like a great thing.
Primal totem i was just pointing out that it would never work. Filler is filler, but filler that is basically a burned choice in something like arena, is never fun to see, and i do admitt a love for the idea of fusion totems, maybe it can act more like that demon that eats whats beside it, but here it could just eat all totems when you play it to make a "mega totem". The whole waiting thing is what kills it, plain and simple.

This would be terrible. There are not enough cards in a deck of hearthstone, its more that the overload cost is never properly evaluated.

Your assuming that some of those cards wont be released as classic cards later if they want them to always be around.

It sounds silly.
I love it
Reincarnate control shaman.

If thats the interaction this card is buste, like scary op. >.>
2
That's 3/3 on turn 2 easy. Have to give up turn 3 for it. But that could just become trog, draw 2, trog, shredder/another overload

Its no cakewalk instant win deck, but it wins if you think smart, and plan ahead by about 2-3 turns in what your hand could do.
