posted a message on My (almost) complete guide to the achievements that offer XP

This is a nice guide, thanks for the work you put in!

I've finished all of these aside from the corrupted card ones which I'm still grinding out and the Oh My Yogg! lethal, which is grotesquely luck based.  Your best bet for that one is to just play pure paladin if standard or odd paladin if wild and add Oh My Yogg to it, and try to save one for when you can get your opponent to very low HP without killing him.  Your opponent then needs to cast an appropriately costed spell that can turn into something to kill himself, preferably something like Hellfire or Felfire Potion, but any targeted spell works as well.... but then you have to deal with the random element of him targeting his own face instead of anything else on the board, or you.  It's a difficult situation to even set up, and on the occasions you do get to set it up, your opponent often just concedes without playing anything because they lack an answer, and on the occasions that they do play a spell, the chances of them rolling one with the potential to kill themselves is even lower, and so on.

For the Redeemed Pariah one, you can also use permanent buff effects on him such as Lance Carrier or Acherus Veteran.  Cards that only give temporary attack buffs such as Dark Iron Dwarf do NOT count, though.

For the Shadow Clone achievement, you can make a deck with Arcane Giants, Silas Darkmoon and Emperor Thaurissan and toss in Shadow Clone (of course), Prep, Vanish, Shadowstep and Counterfeit Coins and perform a combo where you play deterrent spells until your Giants are cheap, Vanish to clear the board, play your Giant, play Silas to give your opponent your Giant, Shadowstep Silas, and then play Shadow Clone - this sets up a condition in which the only minion on board on your opponents turn will be the Arcane Giant, which he should then logically hit you in the face with, giving you the achievement.  This setup is possible to do in one turn thanks to a combination of the Emperor cost reduction, the Preps and the Counterfeit Coins.  You don't need every single one of the reductions, the Coins are there just to help make up for what you're missing.  The rest of the deck should consist of draw, clears, stalls, etc.

I found Darkmoon Rabbit was a decent addition to wild highlander mage with Luna's Pocket Galaxy.

You can play a demon hunter with Blur to insure that, if you play Yogg and get the 5% chance to hit the Rod of Roasting, it will guarantee victory for you.  I don't think I'd recommend doing that unless it's your last achievement or something though, as Yogg is useful in a lot of decks and grinding specifically for the 5% all day would likely be annoying.

Dishonorable mention: I've rarely had such little "fun" in Hearthstone in my life as when I was grinding out the Greybough achievement in wild.  You need to build a deck around the card for efficiency using things like Imprisoned Satyr, Faceless ManipulatorGerminationCarnivorous Cube/Hadronox/Naturalize and N'zoth.  It's more efficient to grind it in wild due to the addition of a lot of these cards, but the deck is very susceptible to being hard shut down by shaman and mage (ESPECIALLY shaman with all of their evolve/devolve cards), priest via steals and rogue via Sap/Vanish/stealing mage devolve/poly effects.  And then you can also shut yourself down by having Greybough be in the bottom of your deck, wasting a lot of your time and giving your opponent a lot of time to kill you.  Try to never play Greybough against any of these classes unless you can also then kill it yourself with Cube/Naturalize (preferably combined) to put it into the death pool to be returned by N'zoth/Hadronox, if all else fails.

If anyone has questions on the others I'd be happy to answer them as well.

    Region: US
Usual Play Times: Around 15:00-23:00 (CST, currently -6 GMT)
    Level of Experience: Advanced
Preferred Heroes: I don't really favor any, I've played a good amount of everything.  I generally dislike priest, though.
I’m Looking For: Practice partners, beginners/intermediates looking to learn more, friends for quests, people to chat with :)
Tell us something about you:  I nearly always grind through the constructed ladder at the beginning of a new expansion, but after that I usually play more arena than constructed until the next set of cards releases.  That may change with the new ranking system, though!

I ran a similar deck from mid-platinum to mid-diamond.  It doesn't run the Armagedillo, Wardens, Into the Fray, Infested Goblin or Corsair Cache, but I ran an extra Battle Rage, a single Commanding Shout, Devoted Maniacs, EVIL Quartermasters and Injured Tol'virs (to go a bit heavier on the initial anti-aggro against DHs.)  I also only run one Frightened Flunky, but 2 is likely great as well - I just wanted to test Commanding Shout.

Looks like a fun deck, I think I may try it when I switch to wild this season.  Although:

"However, if you want to pull off the burst finisher, the LOA needs to cost zero since Brann Bronzebeard + Baleful Banker is 5 mana and you need the remaining 5 to cast Holy Wrath."

You can still pull off the 25 damage burst finisher with the loa at 3, because you don't need Brann for the second Shirvallah.  You simply Shirvallah, Baleful and Holy Wrath face with an empty deck.

This deck is sick and should have more upvotes than it does.  I played tempo rogue from ranks 10 - 3 and switched to this deck to finish off my legend grind and ended up going 34-15 with a 69% winrate from 3 to legend.  Here's my class matchup:

Although I went 1-2 against rogue, it's actually this deck's best matchup.  I just drew very, very badly against a great rogue draw both of those games.

posted a message on RenoJackson's 83% winrate LEGEND Baku Tempo Rogue

Pretty awesome deck.  I hadn't played in a season, so I had to grind up from 10 with this.  I'm currently at rank 3 with a 39-15 record (72%,) and I've only lost two games so far past rank 5 so far (one was because the doorbell rang and I had to switch to my phone and missed a turn, the other to a warlock that drew nuts.)

I recorded 5 games and tossed them up onto YouTube in a single video, if anyone is interested in seeing how the deck works around rank 4.

P.S. - I had just played a few standard games and had totally forgotten that no one in wild runs Duskbreaker.

posted a message on 77% Win Rank 5 to Legend With Proof and stats DirtyDudeRatdin

Played 5 games with this at rank 1 - four warlocks and one druid.  Lost 4 of the 5 and deranked back to 2.  Probably a good deck, but I seem to be very unlucky today.

posted a message on RANK 3 TO LEGEND 89% WIN – TRUMP WALL WARRIOR

Works pretty well.  Went 11-2 from rank 5 to 3, and then 8-3 from rank 3 to 2 for a current total of 19-5, putting it at a 79% winrate for me.  Will update if I decide to use the deck to continue climbing tomorrow.

My five losses were the following: a burn mage that drew exceptionally, a jade rogue, two Razakus priests (went 4-2 against priests overall,) and a jade druid.  I only had two jade druid matches, one win and one loss, and they were both very close, both ending in a post-brawl hero power coin flip.

Total stats: Druid 2-1, Hunter 4-0, Mage 1-1, Priest 4-2, Rogue 2-1, Shaman 2-0, Warlock 4-0.  No paladins or warriors yet.

He's saying Benedictus will disable Raza's battlecry if you play it before Raza.  I don't think we'll see too much Benedictus in constructed regardless, so it probably won't be an issue.  But who knows?

A few more stats, I did another 12 games and went 10-2 again, bringing the total record to 20-4.  Currently at rank 7, 2 stars.  My two losses this time were against a priest that took some ridiculous answers from my deck (was able to Thoughsteal and play a turn 5 Mountain Giant to which I didn't have a clean answer to,) and a quest rogue, which was the first quest rogue I've lost to of five I've played.  An additional note, I've used Elise several times, but I've only actually drawn and used the pack twice.  It did help me win the game both times, but it's a low sample size to consider.  Also, I think that people that are having poor success with this deck may not quite understand how to use all of the tools it offers, since pure Handlock hasn't been in the meta for several seasons.

Matchups are thus so far: Druid 4-0, Hunter 1-0, Mage 4-1, Priest 2-1, Rogue 4-1, Shaman 2-0, Warlock 3-1.  No paladins or warriors yet.

I've been playing a bit around the mid-ranks and tried this deck, being a big fan of classic handlock.  I'm rank 9 at the moment and this deck is 10-2 for me.  I lost once against mage and once against disco lock.  I believe this deck may be favored against disco lock as well, but I drew about as badly as I possibly could have (no board clears, only one of the many taunts.)  I'm considering cutting something for either a Twisting Nether or a Felfire Potion, but I'm going to do a little more before I make any swaps.  Will test some more and update stats later.
