Winrate:
Hi dudes, it's RenoJackson again. I've been toying with lots of decks since the new expansion and picked my two favourite: Dead Man's Hand Fatigue Warrior and Baku Tempo Rogue. While DMH Warrior doesn't do exceptionally and the only reason I kept playing it is because I like suffering (55% winrate over 60 games and games take soooooooooo long), Baku Tempo Rogue was an absolute beast. Turns out dealing 4 damage for 2 mana while using 0 resource is kinda good. Deck has game vs everything: beats the hell out of Shudderwock Shaman and Warlocks, outtempo Mages, outrace Hunters, destroy Big Priests that somehow don't have Barnes turn 4, while doesn't do terribly against Paladin (my version is teched for this matchup, although the winrate still isn't great). Buccaneer is one of the most terrifying 1 drop in the deck as it pulls out Patches and gives you a free Fiery War Axe turn 2, while Hench-Clan Thug was made just for Rogue.
My DMH Warrior deck for those who are interested: https://www.hearthpwn.com/decks/1090280-renojacksons-dead-mans-hand-fatigue-warrior
I'll write a guide when I have the time.
Cheers, took me about 11hours to climb from rank 15 to legend. I didn't track the matches tho, something around 9-10 losses or something? " asking myself " yeah.
Goodluck
Sure no problem.
Really nice deck. Ive been running -1 vancleef, -1 fledgeling. +2 deadly poison. also swapped out loatheb for captain greenskin. Just more face damage. SMOrc is fun
Pretty awesome deck. I hadn't played in a season, so I had to grind up from 10 with this. I'm currently at rank 3 with a 39-15 record (72%,) and I've only lost two games so far past rank 5 so far (one was because the doorbell rang and I had to switch to my phone and missed a turn, the other to a warlock that drew nuts.)
I recorded 5 games and tossed them up onto YouTube in a single video, if anyone is interested in seeing how the deck works around rank 4.
P.S. - I had just played a few standard games and had totally forgotten that no one in wild runs Duskbreaker.
Good tips in video. I played some games before making the same change as Baalrogg (-Light’s Champion +Ironbeak Owl), even though I didn't lose any games, even to a rogue who successfully Reno Jacksoned 3 times for almost 70 health plus an Antique Healbot for another 8.
I thought that I would post after 7 straight wins, then 8, finally had to stop at 10. Maybe I'll play an 11th, but I hate to ruin a short, but perfect, record. :)
I did find at least one guy who runs Duskbreaker in wild. In other games, I got hurt by Defile a couple of times, but survived the set backs.
Epilogue: I should have quit at 10. After 17 games, I lost 1. It will probably happen to you too. For me, it was a Warlock who was able to play both Naga Sea Witches, both Mountain Giants, a Sea Giant, a Moulton Giant, a Defile, a Shadow Flame, and a Hellfire, among others, by turn 9. And here I was thinking that this deck had possibilities. =0 If only there were a version with more Vilespine Slayers. :)
A solid 1 drop like Lowly Squire. But if you're not playing Patches, ditch Southsea Captains for other solid 3 drops.
Face is the place :)
Too slow for rank 11, can't survive against aggro decks
I just went from rank 4 to Legend for the first time with this deck with a 27-8 record. 6 of my 8 losses were against Paladin, it performed great against everything else. Really nice deck.
My only change was -1 Southsea Captain, +1 Fan of Knives, but only because I only have 1 Southsea Captain.
Surely Prince Keleseth belongs in there?
Fungalmancer is a good 5 drop in this deck too
Awesome deck. 12-2 so far :)
Cool deck! Havent seen it on ladder yet. This may seem silly but do you think it can work without Patches?
I think it can, some people found success with it. You need a good number of 1 drops though, I recommend trying Lowly Squire.
I will give it a try. I have played against this deck about 10 times now at rank 1, very scary. Any idea of what counters it best?
Has a hard time against Mages if they play Aluneth turn 6 (otherwise favoured, silly matchup). Paladins can break it if the paladin knows what he's doing. Hard control like Fatigue Warrior also counters it hard.
actually, it could very well be the deck within his rank's meta. unfortunately people tend not to understand you need to change your deck if your current meta doesn't favor what you're playing, so they just keep running their face into shit expecting a different outcome.
Calm down, you sound like a peen.
Definitely getting unlucky or you're playing the deck wrong.
