I don't think he's broken. I think he's finally viable ( very much so in mech mage), but not OP. Your opponent has to draw him, have saved spare parts, been fortunate with the parts they received, and/or you have to not have removal.
Have like 6500 dust banked, enough for 4 legendaries. Have most of the staple and good neutral legends (Rag, Dr. Boom, Sylv, Baine, Alex, TBK, Thalnos and so on)... except Harrison, since I always considered him a bit too much meta dependant and not worth of craft before GvG.
Play mainly a more tempoish Control Warrior, Mech Mage, Mid range Priest, Token Druid and Handlock, but there is some cards still missing from my card pool, mainly epics and some situational legendaries. I don't have brawl, ancient of war and a second copy of ancient of lore and cabal, as for legendaries, my decks could use antonidas (for spare part mech mage finisher), Geddon and Harisson (for even more control on warrior), and Vol'jin (not playing priest so much, but almost 100% sure i will craft it).
In this situation what should i do with my dust? use it to finish the basic set toolkit since i wont get more classic packs on arena? Or invest on gvg cards to viabilize new playstyles? because i would love to test sneed on a piloted deathrattle deck and troggzor on control, even toshley looks good at some archetypes...
If you don't plan on ever investing more $ into classic packs, then craft the staple cards you are missing (AoL, Brawl, Cabal etc). Since you like playing mech mage, Antonidas is an excellent choice to craft. Toshley also pairs well with him.
If you plan on playing much priest, Vol'jin is an excellent investment.
have a velen that i don't use as well as 900 dust. i have practically every legendary you need for control warrior except geddon. in place of geddon i run whirlwind. i'm also 4 epics short of a pretty good druid list (two FoN, two lores). i feel like control warrior is built to last but i can win some games without geddon. i don't play druid at all but got cenarius in a pack so that gives me some incentive. any advice would be appreciated
Geddon is a niche card. Some CW run him some don't. He's nice to have in your arsenal to sub in when you think you need him, but is far from an essential craft.
If you think you will be playing Druid, 2x AoL is mandatory, and at least 1 FoN is run in all but the slowest/heaviest ramp lists. I personally always want 2x of both (I prefer the fast druid archetype).
I managed to get golden Malorne in a pack and can therefore now craft two legendaries. I have TBK, Tirion and Malganis in my collection. Who do you think I shall craft?
So I pulled Hemet Nesingwary yesterday, probably going to dust him as he seems too situational to ever see use. If I dust him, I can craft a new legendary. I have Vol'jin, Bolvar, and Dr. Boom, as well as all Naxx legendaries and most tier 1-2 expert pack legendaries (everything except Jaraxxus). I play a lot of midrange/control type of decks. What should I craft? I'm leaning between Neptulon(I primarily play Shaman), Troggzor the Earthinator, Malorne, or Mal'Ganis.
I have 2800 dust and I mostly play Mage and Shaman, but I also play a little Paladin and Priest. I like to mostly play midrange, but also a bit of control. I'm considering crafting Toshley for the spare part synergy with Archmage Antonidus, but I'm also considering if I should make a more neutral tech legendary like The Black Knight or Harrison Jones. I'm also debating if the Shaman Legendaries are worth it.
Any advice?
If you like playing shaman, Al'Akir and Neptulon are both worth having in your deck. Toshley does synergize well with Antonidas. I haven't found him to be essential to the deck though, as mech yeti and tinkertown provide a steady flow of spare parts.
So this seems silly to ask, but is Rag really going to get me that ability to close. I've got Sylvanas, Deathwing, and Dr. Bomb, but I still find my self coming up short as a control hunter. Do I cause minor damages to my collection and just go get a Rag? Is he really worth it?
Rag has his reputation as a fantastic closer for a reason. He forces an immediate reaction from you opponent. If they don't have removal, they are in a world of hurt. Usually you play him after you've baited out removal, so you get the most value out of him.
As for worth, it depends on what you are having to give up, and what those cards are worth to you. Control hunter is an uphill fight, but still manageable.
@BDSorcerer Well i play everything except hunter and aggro. I dont play alot of priest but i feel if i had vol'jin i would play priest more. But crafting sylvanas would be good for everything including priest so idk
I would go with Sylvanas in that case. She's great in many decks. Vol'jin is my favorite priest card, but I would give the nod to the neutral minion in this case.
I got about 2600 dust and the following legendaries: Grommash, Sylvanis, Dr. Boom, Ragnaros, Toshley, The Black Knight, Sneed's Old Shredder, and Alexstraza.
I mainly play Handlock and Control Warrior at the moment and I am looking to craft another legendary but Im not sure which to craft. Anyone got some input. It would be greatly appreciated. Thanks :)
Hey, what do you think should I craft next? I do already have all the "important" legendaries I need and now I'm going for the rest: Al'Akir, Malorne, Foe Reaper 4000, Gazlowe, Antonidas, Malganis, Toshley
I mostly play warrior, priest and lock (handlock) I also enjoy druid, but I dont know how to implement Malorne if its not mill.
thanks!
Al'Akir or Antonidas depending on which class you'd rather experiment with. Malorne is a good 7 drop for heavy ramp druid, as they will run out of removal and you will always have a threat returning to your hand.
Hey Guys. Im wondering whether to craft Dr.Boom or Sylvanas? I have 2,600 dust. Also should i consider Vol'Jin? I prefer Control Decks but i dont play alot of priest so im not sure if he would be worth it.
I also just had to pick out of Boom and Sylvanas.
I went with Sylvanas and im pretty happy with it.
Dr. Boom is next for me tho.
Dr.boom>Sylvanas. Neither is extremely terrible compared to the other. but Dr.boom is literally ran in anything that isnt aggro. Where sylvanas is only really sitting in control strats. (least from what ive seen)
I went ahead and crafted Dr.Boom. Im going to save up for another legendary but im not sure which one to craft next. Any suggestions? Sylvanas, Vol'jin or something else?
What class do you play the most? Vol'jin and Sylvanans are both awesome cards.
General Decks: Thalnos, Black Knight, Harrison, Ysera, Sneed's Shredder
Current Decks: Control Warrior, Secrets Mage, Ramp Druid, Handlock
Decks I want to try: Control/Mid Pally, Spare Parts Mage
If you are wanting to play paladin, go with Tirion. He's a monster to deal with (try and bait out silences before you play him for maximum value). Anotnidas is great in spare parts oriented decks, but not as essential to the build as Tirion is to control pally.
I have enough to craft 1 or probably 2 legendaries. If you guys can help me out that would be great. I play ALL types of decks except rogue. I was thinking of crafting something from the Classic deck because I am currently playing Arena (not that good of a player). I would love to grab me some class legendaries but I have too many important all class legendaries that I want to craft. Here are the legendaries that I would like to craft.... btw I just like to play for fun but love to collect cards.
...This game is already "F2P" so they "arent making money off it," making cards tradeable would be the death of any profits they see from this game xD ...
Is harison jones worth the craft atm? Currently have enough dust for 3 legendaries not sure whether to craft him or not
I mainly play Control warrior, paladin, and handlock (I'm missing Dr Boom and Baron Geddon)
Also, how good is troggzor? I currently have a golden troggzor and not entirely sure if DEing him might be worth it.
Harrison is handy in this weapon heavy meta. I'd also craft boom. Trogg has a niche like Geddon. He is good when played on a board you are ahead on, as he discourages the use of removal spells.
What happened to Novice Engineer? When Blizzard nerf cards, sometimes they zoom from good to bad. Though in Starving Buzzard's case, I do wonder what got into them; even at 3/3 it'd be tough to play at 5 mana, but at 3/2 it dies when you look at it funny.
I'd substitute sometimes to nearly always. At least since open release.
Need advice on how to proceed. I have a respectable card base, but I don't have the dust necessary to really finish any deck in particular to be ladder competitive. I'm missing mostly class legends and a few class epics, but I'm sitting on 1785 dust plus a lot of dustables.
My list of legendaries: iron juggernaut, gazlowe, sylvanas, baron geddon, dr boom, ragnaros, alex, mekgineer themaplug, nozdormu.
I probably have enough crap legendaries and epics to get to 3200 dust. I have most of control warrior except for grom, harrison, and a big game hunter, but I'm a little shaky to spend 1600 dust on a class legendary. I have no hero preference and I strongly prefer to play control, although I'm mostly interested in being as competitive as possible. What should I dust/craft???
You are only missing Grom to play control warrior (assuming you have the ancillary non-legendaries). If you love control decks, it's the daddy of them all.
Like Sonal, I'd like some advice on the next legendary to craft. Apart of the Naxx guaranteed ones and Gelbin, I have so far: Jaraxxus, Ragnaros, Sylvanas, Cairne, Cenarius, Tirion, Bolvar, Vol'jin, Iron Juggernaut and Grom. Sylvanas and Grom are crafted.
I am considering Dr. Boom, Antonidas (mostly those two), Harrison Jones, Black Knight and Alexstraza. I play more or less every class, with a small preference towards Mage, Paladin and Druid.
Help me out? :)
Boom is amazing in Druid, and solid in midrange pally/mage decks. Antonidas has seen a huge boost in value with the advent of spare parts, so if you like mech mage decks he's very good.

Me gusta! That is one gorgeous card back.

They shouldn't. He's not op.

Boom and sylvanas are hard to pass up if you are looking for neutrals.

What class/archetypes do you enjoy playing?
Neptulon. He's a fantastic 7 drop for shaman.

Sylvanas or Tirion (if you like paladin).

Harrison and Jaraxxus.
Boom. He slots in nicely into all 3 of the classes you play. I would then go after Rags.

Merry Christmas to you too. :)

Those figures are from this summer. They are making bank off of pack sales.

It would be nice, but I find it highly doubtful Blizzard would ever let us trade cards.

Do you want to have an anti-taunt card or a minion that trades in your favor?
Harrison is handy in this weapon heavy meta. I'd also craft boom. Trogg has a niche like Geddon. He is good when played on a board you are ahead on, as he discourages the use of removal spells.

O_O Don't do it! :D
Personally, I would choose Jaraxxus for your handlock deck. Tbk and Cairne are both good choices for control pally though.
