Just cracked a bunch of packs and now have 1600 dust to craft a legendary. My top choices are either  Troggzor the Earthinator or Ysera. Also in the discussion ToshleyKing Mukla. I have Dr. Boom, Mal'Ghanis, Sneed's Old Shredder, most of the other standard classic legendary's that get a lot of play. So, what to craft?

What decks do you enjoy playing?  Toshley to pairs well with Antonidas in mage decks.  Ysera is a great in uber late game control decks, while Trogg is good when you are trying to close out spell heavy deck.  In my experience so far he's been best when I am ahead on the board and am trying to prevent an aoe clear.  He's very weak agains paladin though, as their equality + clear wipes him and his token.  Mukla is best in super aggressive decks (ie backspace rogue).

should i DE my trade prince gallywix?

I don't play rogue so I don't really have a use for it, it also seems like a mediocre legendary

I would hold off on doing so for a bit.

I'm missing a decent number of expert collection legendaries, except for a few I've crafted and a few that I'm happy to DE for better cards (Millhouse, Nozdormu). Have some good GvG legendaries, though. (Gahz, Sneed, Malorne), and a few I'd consider dusting (Hemit, Leviathan - too early to dust?).

Recently crafted Sylvanas and Rag, and sitting on enough dust and DE-worthy cards to craft 3-4 more legendaries, trying to figure out which to craft. Playing mostly Hunter, Shaman, Warlock (in that order). Suggestions for crafting priority would be awesome. Leaning towards crafting expert collection legendaries and holding off on GvG because I'm still hoping to pull from packs, but would be good to know craft priority there, too, if I don't pull in the next month or so. Also have a Hogger I'm tempted to DE but haven't yet, still hoping to make good use of him but haven't been able to so far.

Expert: Cairne, TBK, Harrison, Alexstrasza, Baron Geddon, Jaraxxus.

GvG: Dr. Boom, Troggzor, Mal'Ganis, Neptulon.

Based on your class preferences I would go with; Boom, Neptulon,  Jaraxxus.

Guys what Legendary to craft Vol'jin or Dr. Boom?

    Do you play priest frequently?

    Quote from Rencol »

Guys, i was "lucky" eneugh to have Mel'Ganis in deck, but i never played lock and i dont even have Jerraxus. Do you think hes worth crafting and trying out demon handlock? Becouse i would kinda rather play priest, but again im missing Voljin and some cards like lightbomb... :/

Jaraxxus is amazing.  If you'd rather play priest though, Vol'jin is also excellent.

    Quote from Aksel4don »

Is it worth crafting Geddon in current meta?

Are you using him in control warrior?  If so, he's worth having.

Buying 50$ worth of packs today. I play rogue, pally, and shaman. I don't have any of the 3 new class legendaries for them. If I do not get them in a card pack, which is best to craft?  Gallywix, Bolvar, or neptulon?

    Neptulon>Gallywix>>>>>Bolvar.

Hi! First of all sorry for my mistakes writing in English (English is not my first language).

I have been saving some dust and I can finally craft a new legendary, but I´m not sure which one. I like playing every single class in the game except for hunter. These are the legendaries that I have now:

Classic set: Ragnaros, Sylvanas, Black night, Cairne, Alakir, Jaraxxus, Nozdormu, The beast, Tinkmaster and Nat Peagle.

GvsG: Dr. Boom, Toshley, Foe Reaper and Malorne.

    All Naxx ones.

I allways thought that it is better to craft neutral legendaries... but now that I have most of the important ones I´m thinking about crafting Tirion, Voljin, Neptulon or even Gromash. Thalnos seems also like a good option but having Kobold makes it less interesting.

Thank you in advance for you help!

The legendaries you mention desiring are all quality choices.  It comes down to which class/archetype do you want to play the most?  Do you have the epics/supporting cards to play that archetype?

    Quote from Teacherman32 »

    Hi guys/gals,

Great thread with really good advice!  I have a question that is somewhat related to this thread.  I have almost all of the cards from the basic deck excluding legendaries (although I do have a decent amount of the strong neutrals).  My question is should I be crafting some of the essential rare and epic cards from the basic set that I still don't have 2 of (ex: Aukhani (sp?) Soul Priest, Molten Giant). Before I craft legendaries?  It just seems that I am going to be opening way fewer classic packs now and will have a really hard time getting those cards.  So basically should I complete the basic set first then worry about the rest?  I like playing a lot of different decks and trying a bunch of things out.  I also have a lot of (for the time being) useless cards, but would like someday to have every card :)

    Legendaries I have:

    Sylvannas

    Cairne

    Black Knight

    Rag

    Ysera

    Baron

    Thalnos

    Hogger (golden)

    Al'Akir

    Deathwing

    Leeroy

    Nozdormu

    Millhouse

    Onyxia

    Neptulon

    Ghazrilla

Mogor the Ogre (i think hes callled)

The guy that spawns leper gnomes

If you don't intend to purchase basic packs, and plan on playing Priest or Handlock, it's worth considering.

Thank you so much for the input.

I'm really leaning towards pala, but just one more question: What about Sneeds old shredder? Alot of guys important-ish HS players (Trump, namely) play it in their pala decks and say it's an amazing card with loads of value. If I'm already substituting Boom with Rag, what do I sub Sneed with? And also what about my lack of Bolvar?

Also, it's great that someone finally acknowledges the great american hero in my avatar!

:)  I'm a card carrying member of the church of No Mam'.   Long may his teachings educate the oppressed!  :D

Sneed's is a high value card.  Sometimes it will drop you a second Tirion or Ragnoros and you just win.  Other-times you get a Lorewalker cho and give him the stink eye.  That's why you average his drops, and say that on the average he will give you better results than not.  He's good in decks like paladin where you are trying to out tempo your opponents.  That said, he's kinda slow for a finisher.  Any good high end legendary would do in his slot (you already have Ysera, perhaps try her).  Bolvar is a middling card; He is frequently a dead card in your hand for multiple turns.  I personally would rather have Sylvanas in that slot (a piloted sky golem would do in a pinch).

    Hi!

I'm a new player (i play for 3 weeks now, decided i'll go f2p and only dailies atm) and got a golden Blingtron 3000 in a pack. Seems like a lot of dust, but i'm not sure what to do with the card since im new to the game. If i should dust it, eventually, my priorities for the decks are Tempo Rogue/Mage>Paladin>Hunter>Shaman. I like rogue the best though. I expect to get more commons/rares from the packs (i buy classic from the store), but it seems like i will not see a (good) legendary for a while, so it's probably safe to go and make a good (neutral) legend. What would you suggest? Or is it better to stock up on the good rares (like Argent Commander, Azure Drakes, Si:7 Agent, Blade Flurry)? With one pack a day ratio, the rares will come sooner or later so probably not a good idea?

One idea i had was to buy 4 giants for Handlock, but im not really sure if i like that playstyle :)

I'd recommend holding off on crafting things for rogue.  We have yet to see a dominant deck post GvG for them (though the hostybat deck is interesting).  Blizzard has nerfed them very hard.

...I'm thinking about either crafting a Tirion, dusting 400 dust worth of cards and getting 2x quartermasters which would be enough to create a competitive Pala deck (I have all pala epics), but by looking at some of the top pala decks atm to complete them I lack...

... crafting Dr. Boom instead. I'm only interested in playing Warlock (which I have pretty much all the required cards, regardless of deck type), Priest (have all of them), Shaman (lacking al'akir, and neptulon if it turns out to be a good card) ... and of course a Paladin..

So, should I just go ahead and craft Tirion +2 quartermasters and have a quite decent pala deck... Or maybe some other class legendary? (although out of the decks I listed pala would be propably the fastest to complete)...

...Sorry for my english, it's not my first language!

    Hello Yogo,

If you are wanting to play Paladin, Tirion is more essential than Dr. Boom.  Boom is a high value minion that slots into many decks as a quality 7 drop.  He is replaceable in those paladin decks with Rag's though.

If you decide to go with shaman cards, go with Al'Akir  before Neptulon (who is an excellent card in his own right).

Also, you get +1000 internet points for the Al Bundy avatar.  Viva la Al!

    Epic

2x Ancient of Lore, 2x SoJ, 2x Cabal, 1x Mountain, 2x Ice Block, Preparation, Shield Slam, Doomhammer, Earth Ele, Sea Giant, Doomsayer, Longbow

I honestly kind of like playing all classes (except rogue) and have leaned toward aggro more often because I didn't have the necessary epics/legendaries to do the better control/mid-range decks. Now that I've got a better collection, would it be better if I buy classic packs and play arena or should I just craft the classic epics I'm missing? I don't feel like I'm missing a ton of GvG cards... and most of those classic ones I'm missing are truly staple cards.

If I had to set an order of the legendaries it'd probably be like this...

    1. Dr Boom (he's Mr. Popular right now)
    2. BK
    3. Grommash (missing a shield slam)
    4. Vol'jin (I'm missing 2x cabal)
    5. Alex
    6. Al'Akir

That doesn't leave any room for crafting those needed epics.

I'd buy classic packs and grind arena for the GvG cards since you have a decent collection of the new cards.  I bolded the epics that I would prioritize if you choose to craft.

Your list of desired legendaries is a good one, and all are value crafting targets.

    Quote from Bigheadmikelove »

So I have been running a tempo rogue variant and I put Millhouse Manastorm in it.  I have found that he can be a winning card in the correct situation.  Sure, playing him against a mage, hunter, shaman or paladin is a terrible idea.  But early against a priest...fantastic.  Aggro hunter or zoolock - get shit on, even against druid he's not the worst play (though it's not really the best either) So why is he considered complete "immediately dust this" trash?  I know that now with the "expansion power creep" he's not as game changing as he was,  though I wonder if he was severely undervalued in the pre - GvG meta?  Any thoughts on this?

The times he is useful Vs the times he gets you rekt are not in proportion.  He is properly valued as dust.

I have enough to make one, and I have Dr. Boom as my only legendary. I'm extremely interested in Harrison just because he seems so awesome. I plan on playing super-control mages and control warrior. Good idea or others before it? Also which packs should I buy if I still need rag and sylvanas?

That depends on what type of control mage you want to run.  Freeze mage for instance depends on Alex, whereas strifecro control mages are using Antonidas as their finisher now that spare parts ensure that the fireball pain train is attainable.

    Quote from DeusExLamina »

Thinking of crafting a GvG legendary. I have Voljin, golden Bolvar, Naxx legends, and most of the tier 1 & 2 expert pack legendaries. Should I go for Dr. Boom, Malorne, Troggzor the Earthinator, or something else entirely? I kind of want to make a mill druid which Malorne will go well in, but lots of people are high on Dr. Boom and I kind of want to get him if only for the reference.

Also, what's the general consensus on Bolvar? If he's dust worthy, I could get two.

Boom. Boom. Boom >Malorne and Trogg.  Marlorne is excellent in druid mill, but Boom will give you more bang for the mana in the other druid archetypes.

Bolvar is meh-grade.  I wouldn't dust him since you already have the bulk of the tier 1 & 2 legendaries.

    Hey guys, need some advice.
My main classes are probably Warrior and Druid/Pally, also playing Priest/Mech Mage lately.
I don't have too many legendaries, here they are :
    - Cenarius (Druid)
    - Flame Leviathan (Mage)
    - Tirion Fordring (Pally)
    - Trade Prince Gallywix (GOLDEN Rogue <-- Want to decraft this one and craft something better for myself)
    - Lord Jaraxxus (Warlock)
    - Grommash Hellscream (Warrior)
    - Harrison Jones (Neutral)
    - Cairne Bloodhoof (Neutral)
    - Hogger (Neutral)
    - Sylvanas (Neutral - Crafted)
    - The Black Knight (Neutral - Crafted)
    - Foe Reaper 4000 (Neutral)
    - Ysera (Neutral)
    - All Naxxramas Legendaries

And for now I'm thinking about crafting either Ragnaros or Dr.Boom, both of them I guess are really good, and nice to have.
    Thanks for help, Maxel.

You really can't go wrong with Rag's or Boom.  Both are fantastic cards.  If you are running a double combo druid, I'd go with Boom as he makes an excellent springboard for a FoN or double Savage Roar.  Rag's slides in as a finisher into a wide range of midrange and control decks.  Both are top tier.

Good call on the druid-combo synergy, I think you just sold me on Boom :-)

     :-) Glad to help.

Hey bubberinos, I need some help on my next legendary. I'm considering the following: Bolvar Fordragon, Neptulon, Harrison Jones, and Sneed. The two class legendaries on the list because although they're bad, I want to start playing another class (I already have Tirion and Al'Akir). As for Harrison, he seems ok in this meta. Sneeds was just an afterthought. Any suggestions?

    Edit: Or Cenarius

Of the cards you listed I would prioritize Neptulon (he's surprisingly good), Harrison, or Cenarius.   The are all supplemental cards to decks though, not strictly essential pieces.  Since you already have Al'Akir, Nep' would slide right into your shaman deck nicely.  If you are looking at running a Druid, I would ask if you have 2 AoL before you craft him.  They are the heart of almost any Druid build.
