Luck is important, but it all evens out in the end. You are no less likely to get good outcomes than your opponents, and part of the skill in the game is deciding when you need to go for that random outcome over playing it safe. The top players often put themselves in positions where they can get lucky: setting things up for the perfect top deck or the good random outcome to happen and win the game.
Good players beat new players the vast majority of time. That's skill, not luck. After three weeks, you can still improve immensely. A top-100 player, however, beats a top-1000 player only by a small margin. That's because while they can find some edges, it gets more difficult as the opponents get better too, and there is always an element of randomness in the game.

Instead of cursing at the deck, how about asking for advice?
For example, you said the early minions get 1 shot... but RARELY are you ever going to play your minions on curve. 99% of the time, you want to save your Northshire Cleric, Wild Pyromancer and Acolyte of Pain to use in conjunction with one another on the same turn for better card draw. As far as Gagetzan Auctioneer being in the bottom half, that will happen a lot since he is only a 1-of and the soonest you can play him is turn 6 so on average you'll draw him on curve in 1/3 of your games. But most of the time, you use him to finish your cycling since he is kinda clunky.
I get that you're frusterated, but if you really want to try to make this deck work and think it might be fun, then try posting some of your matchups and I'm sure we'd be more willing to help.

500 WINS ARE GOLDEN FRAME AND ANIMATED HERO POWER, THEY ARENT ALTERNATE HEROES YOU CLOWN.
You’re a clown kid, every single alternate portrait thus far had new hero tray, entrance and hero power animation.
These are the most prestigious skins and they’re the same as basic portraits, I have all the right to complain about something that was poorly done. They put minimal amount of effort for something that has been requested for years, myself included so I have all the rights to be mad and complain.
You don’t even have a single golden hero, who are you to tell me what I should and shouldn’t complain for ? This update doesn’t concern you, you have no right to post here.

Friendly reminder that the Chinese government is currently involved in state-sponsored organ harvesting of those it deems undesirable.
The whole world should be on the Hong Kong protestors side for liberation from these monsters in complete and utter unity.
Mobile execution vans you say? What a time to be alive.
Screw Blizzard, they’ll do anything for that Chinese cash. We already knew they were a greedy, grubby company, but this takes the biscuit.

A bit of a rant, and looking for info on how to improve...
First the rant: I've played HS off and on for a couple of years. I've bought some packs, but would consider myself a F2P player, and while I like the game in general, I'm seriously considering uninstalling due to constantly facing decks full of Legendary cards at Levels 18-16. Being the handicapped/underdog against mediocre players who can simply spam Legendaries, has become tiresome, and I simply don't know what/how to do to improve my position...I buy packs with in game currency, have tried Arena a few times with meh results, and have tried many different decks/heroes to no avail.
So...my plea is for the community to advise, and/or point me in the right direction for the best way to "grow" as a player, and to build better/competitive decks without having to shell out real money...thanks in advance for your input

Imagine being a warrior player and unironically acting like an elitist about it.
I quite like this post .

This is a bait guys. Don't take it.

As others have said, the fact that Divine/Inner Fire is a thing in every single expansion is a joke at this point. Especially given the cards that have been nerfed/hall of famed instead of it.
Even when the deck is not that competitive it's still a shitty thing to face and a horrible way to lose.

I like it. Are you sure that finding a place for the quest isn't worth it though? The healing is there for it. Also, you're running FIVE 9 cost spells. Surely it might be worth playing King Phaoris in such a high-cost spell heavy deck?

Having to play around certain cards is an actual skill-testing part of Hearthstone. I know it can feel bad to get burned by an MCT but the card is fine.

Highlander Mage is not terrible without LPG. The winrate will take a slight knock but I think it will be viable. And hey, King Phaoris just got buffed.
I think LPG still goes in the deck as well. You can cast it with a body off Pilgrim. (which is massive since 7 mana do nothing the turn you play it is a real issue.) 8 mana cast LPG and get a 5/5 is better than just playing LPG on its own.) And you can reduce it with the Naga. It's supported by the rest of the deck far better than before this expansion when it saw no play.
CC at 4 doesn't kill the card in Highlander either. If aggro starts getting cocky then Highlander Mage is still a great choice.

I have a really big collection but never pulled Zul'Jin and since I don't play Hunter that often haven't felt the need to craft him. I think it's a pretty fair card. It can RNG backfire and whilst it's a big swing play it's by no means a done deal every time you see him at turn 10.
A very strong effect but not broken IMO. There are way more issues outside of Zul'Jin and this is coming from a non-Hunter player.

I agree with the majority here. Mage was keeping Warrior in check and it got smashed to pieces. Boom for 9 will be a hit to warrior but with Mage being hit so hard and the fact that the whole class can stall forever, it won't kill the class at all. Does anybody really think that Warrior will have a problem stalling to 9?
I don't. And they don't have to worry about pocket galaxy or conjurers any more.
I've seen SO many inventive fan suggestions for nerfs and once again they come in and just alter mana costs.
14 damage for 4 mana from Omega Devastator still a thing. Still a mech. Still discoverable.
Great job.

I opened a golden pocket galaxy back in the day. I've had my fun with it so might dust it when it gets nerfed back to 7. It's really unplayable at that mana cost.
I'm missing Zul'Jin so that might be the craft I make this time. I agree with everyone else, Hunter will be OP again.

Check the guy's post history. He's a salt mining edgelord. Nothing to see here.

I'm afraid this is not a good opinion. If it's bait then it's pretty lame as well.
Zephrys played correctly is an extremely strong effect. Your ONE example is hardly convincing.
Maybe this game isn't for you?

They're not close to comparable. The effect is similar, the setup is not.
