Hey everyone! I'm Funki Monki and all I do is create meta-breaking (hopefully) homebrew decks! Ever since Sathrovarr came out I KNEW he was a great combo card so I was trying different cards and decks to make him work and I finally found it! Grave Horror is the perfect card to combo with Sathrovarr! If Grave Horror gets discounted to 0, you can get instantly get 19/21 worth of stats with Sathrovarr for only 9 mana. If all your Grave Horrors don't kill your opponent then Chef Nomi definitely will! With tons of cycle and many ways to close out games, this is a great deck to play on ladder! I hope you enjoy it :D
Full write-up below. I spent a fair amount of time on this guide to help you learn it, so if this guide is helpful don't forget to upvote to help others see it as well!
General Strategy:
The goal of this deck is to draw and cycle LIKE CRAZY to get towards your win conditions of Chef Nomi, Grave Horrors (+Sathrovarr), and Zephrys. The ways that you'll draw the most are with combos of your spells and minions like Northshire Cleric + Wild Pyromancer + any spell + Circle of Healing, or Acolyte of Pain + Wild Pyromancer + any spell, or Gadgetzan Auctioneer + 0 mana cost spells. While we ideally want to save some of our spells for these combos keep in mind that we also need to survive. So sometimes, it may be more beneficial to use your spells to kill an opponent's threat that could potentially dish out lots of damage over multiple turns.
Mulligan:
Always Keep: Northshire Cleric, Wild Pyromancer, Acolyte of Pain, Power Word: Shield
Sometimes Keep: Circle of Healing (If you have Northshire Cleric, Wild Pyromancer), Forbidden Words (if up against aggro deck), Witchwood Piper (if you have heal spells, Wild Pyromancer)
I hope you like this deck and, as always, if you have any questions or have a suggestion please comment below (I respond to all comments)!

Thanks! I appreciate the feedback as well. I agree that the music was a bit too loud in the first vid so I turned it down a bit for the 2nd video and future videos
Tried this deck. It fucking sucks.
Every once in a while You'll get some good games with it, but most of the time, you won't draw your early game minions till turn 7+, letting them dominate the board. Other times they'll have ways to 1 shot your early game minions, stopping you from drawing. Haven't played a match yet where auctioneer wasn't at the bottom half of the deck.
Instead of cursing at the deck, how about asking for advice?
For example, you said the early minions get 1 shot... but RARELY are you ever going to play your minions on curve. 99% of the time, you want to save your Northshire Cleric, Wild Pyromancer and Acolyte of Pain to use in conjunction with one another on the same turn for better card draw. As far as Gagetzan Auctioneer being in the bottom half, that will happen a lot since he is only a 1-of and the soonest you can play him is turn 6 so on average you'll draw him on curve in 1/3 of your games. But most of the time, you use him to finish your cycling since he is kinda clunky.
I get that you're frusterated, but if you really want to try to make this deck work and think it might be fun, then try posting some of your matchups and I'm sure we'd be more willing to help.
Fun deck for sure! I am missing Lazul's Scheme (x2) and have replaced them with 2x holy smite - not a optimal solution but hey it removes things.
+1 from me.
Nice thinking! I like those substitutions :). Even though the 2 damage would be tempting to use, I'd say to still hold on to them as long as you can until you can get card draw from it with Gadgetzan Auctioneer or Wild Pyromancer + Acolyte of Pain.
I like this deck but from my experience it has too many bad match ups. It can destroy some decks but looses to even more decks :(
Lack of removal (1 mass hysteria and 1 forbidden words is not enough and holy ripple is a joke).
It is definitely a tough deck to pilot, I will admit! The hardest matchups for me so far are Tempo Rogues, Shaman with Evolve on 4, and any Hakkar, the Soulflayer deck. The rest seem pretty easy. This deck does have a lot of removal surprisingly! Wild Pyromancer with just a few spells can be a board clear oftentimes. Lazul's Scheme + Topsy Turvy can clear a mid size threat, and Holy Ripple is actually pretty good to clear a bunch of tokens, which there are a lot of right now, especially Lackeys. Now, you are right that we don't have A TON of removal but the idea is to have JUST enough removal to get us through the first 8-10 turns of the game while we draw through our deck and then can build a wall with Sathrovarr + Grave Horror or just win with Chef Nomi. Keep Practicing and I hope this helps! :)
I'm experiencing similar issues to some of the other players here. But I don't think it's because its a bad deck, I think it just takes a lot of practice! I also believe this deck requires a higher than normal IQ to navigate.
I mess up the combos a lot, accidentally mill myself, or accidentally kill my own minions.
The hard part is being patient and not playing cards too early until you have enough mana/cards to create a decent cycle.
Will keep practicing.
You're absolutely right - it does take a lot of practice cause it is a pretty tough deck to pilot! Especially on your cycling turns with Gadgetzan Auctioneer or determining how much you want to draw with Circle of Healing + Northshire Cleric. There is so much cycling but it usually comes all in a single turn or two so sometimes you'll have to do a lot of quick math lol. Keep trying, I'm sure you'll get the hang of it! :)
I think this deck needs a second auctioneer. I like the deck a lot, great idea with the new card, but I have too much trash in my hand and no draw if I miss girl, pyro and circle combo
Will be experimenting a bit.
Thx! +1
Auctioneer is too slow and expensive for these high cycle nomi decks. 1 is enough. I would consider not even running one and having quest as your slower option.
You really don't want a second auctioneer for the reason you said: too many unplayable cards in hand. pyro + either girl or acolyte is your dream combo (it's not just for circle; regen and holy ripple work too!), and auctioneer into 0 mana spells is your emergency out if you can't find the latter. Most games you'll find one of those two combos by Turn 6; for the few games where you don't, its probably better to just accept those as likely loses rather than dilute your winning potential for the games when you do.
Amazing deck my dude
Thank you! I'm glad you like it :D
