Echo_ posted a message on Omega Devastator ability wording inconsistent?Posted in: General DiscussionThis sort of thing is just an interaction with Omega cards. It checks for you having 10 mana after the mana cost was paid, which uses the mana from the coin first, resulting in you only having 9 mana and thus, not have the effect go off.

Trikzen posted a message on Are there any decks that are considered Midrange (besides Hunter )in ROS?Posted in: General DiscussionA midrange deck makes it's big plays and big tempo minions in the midgame.. This is Turns 4-9. Usually before each player as all 10 mana.
The subtypes of midrange decks are
- Curve(stone) decks- The deck plays a tempo minion from turns 3-9 in an attempt to overwhelm removal and push damage.
Mech hunter, Bomb Hunter, Beast Hunter. Mech Paladin.
- True Token Decks- Plays a lot of tokens in the midgame and buffs them when they stick
Token Druid. Token Shaman.
- Midgame Shenanigans Decks- Does something to cheat out a big minion in the midgame.
Conjuer Mage, Silence Priest

They'll nerf it with 5 Mana Hex.

I was really hoping to see a well thought out defense of the archetype then just scroll passed it to look at the flaming and complaining that would result in the comments

Grumble can be a great tempo card sometimes just to play him for the 7/7 body, and he can create a lot of value by replaying your battlecry minions for 1 Mana. Sneaky Devil is another 30th card I have played around with because if you are playing a board-focused version, the extra +1 attack to everything can close out games.

Another Hex if you are not running two, Grumble, Chain Gang, Sneaky Devil, or Arcane Dynamo.

Amazing work <3. I think the Paladin passive hero power doesn't fit the class identity as well as some of the others, but the rush/charge synergy with that is amazing to think about. Something to do with weapons, healing, or divine shield would seem more appropriate in my humble opinion. When you equip a weapon summon a knight with equal stats?
The Mage and Warrior ones are really great.

Just be grateful that it does its job against all the other annoying OTK combos.

I like the look of the new Molten Giant Paladin deck. I have seen a lot of sweet new variations of Secret Hunter.
