I was having good matches up to level 8. Lots of rogues out there and people are starting to tech against it. It seems that if I didn't draw backstab, I'd have a slow start and hard to catch up.
It's hobbled by 4 cards in "a" turn. You might do this once in a game. If you're extremely lucky then twice. Unless you have some new cards with some kind of draw effect. You could build a deck around this mechanic, but it most likely would be inefficient, and wouldn't last against any meta decks. I'm not usually one to disagree, but I'd rather this said something like "after playing four cards", not a turn.
Your best bet would be combo with Ferryman, swashburglar, and shadowstep. Rogue does have plenty of cards that could make this happen maybe twice a game if lucky.
whether it is Malygos Rogue, C'thun Rogue or this Comeback/Jade Rogue, it is always so_much_fun when everything works out! when I can play Malygos and do 40dmg in 1 turn, I almost get an orgasm - it is THAT MUCH FUN!
...but man, are Rogues disadvantaged- Blizzard screws us over on every turn of the way. not only is it difficult to get to your combo pieces - blizzard constantly wants to destroy combo abilities! there are no taunts, NO BOARDCLEAR and no heal whatsoever for the poor rogue and gosh beware, if any rogue combos really do work out and rogues become able to crush opponents, be sure, blizzard is on the way with the "nerf hammer" (r.i.p. blade flurry).
Blizzard WANTS people to play Rogue (they say), but ONLY MIRACLE ROGUE! you know? the, basically, same deck since BETA. the one rogue deck, that isn't fun to play, that does NOT need you to make hard decisions.
being a Rogue.. it's a crux! ;)
Actually, water rogue is working very well atm. You should check it out.
There will be cards that aren't superior. That's just something to get used to. It's part of the RNG. You can't get rid of RNG, without RNG it's just Rock Paper Scissors. It's a fun mechanic to the game. It makes arena work. It's part of Hearthstone. There are other games to play where you don't have as much RNG.

The art is cool. The effect is cool. Can't wait to see what other synergies come up with Elementals. Fireflies everywhere.

How can you ban something you can't see? Are you suggesting we look at eachother's decks before the match? That's absurd.
