I've recently come back to hearthstone. I just want to play casually as I wind down in the evening with some silly unoptimized decks, but I have not won a single match at lowest rank ladder or in unranked mode for about 5 hours of time now.
Most things I play against are so strong, with a lot of epics and legendries or super fast aggressive decks. There doesn't seem to be any room to win for someone with a small card collection of old cards from the first few expansions.
It's just not very fun, but I would still like to play a game-mode where I get to fully build my own deck.
Does anyone have any suggestions inside Hearthstone or out to get this sort of casual experience, without being stomped on and being unable to win at all?
It’s still early in the month. Many players are just starting their climb. In a week or 2, lower ranks should be more fun tier decks. There are some stronger silly decks, but you kinda need to watch YouTube to figure those out, and they mostly still use newer cards.
I think it's a broader problem in Hearthstone. Power inflation has made so many things so strong that any deck which isn't razor-honed just can't keep up. It means that homebrew or oddball or unserious decks just can't compete. I think that drains a lot of the fun out of the game.
In a little while, after the rotation and with the new core set, things might get better. We'll see.
well everyone craft aggro rogue and every new player is advise to craft aggro rogue or something on that lines of power. And to be fair there is not any friendly line of play that beats rogue or anything that is played in aggro rogue meta.

That sums it up, and I play at legend.
Take a walk on the wild side...
Check your PM for a more personalized recommendation, but in the meantime may I ask what deck or specific cards you are trying to play?
It's embarrassing and depressing.
At the lowest tier of bronze ranked, people are playing highly refined, Tier 1 decks.
It is the same in casual.
This was the inevitable conclusion.
bro. the meta rn are all aggro stealth rogue, gibberling druids, burn mage and otk demon DH. It sucks. Lol
