We're looking to add a few new volunteers to our moderation team to help combat spam, keep the forums in-line with our posting rules, and to be the best like no one ever was. It's been some time (3 months) since we've opened up applications like this, so please read this entire post to make sure you understand what we're trying to accomplish here.
Moderator Responsibilities
Your responsibilities as a moderator on the forums will include:
Maintaining sticky threads containing important information and resources.
Posting on the forums to stay active and to interact with the community. Encourage discussion!
Communicating with the mod team on the staff forums and Slack.
We ask that all our moderators stay in touch with our Slack moderator group. We can be a lot more than just drones who remove spam and hand out warnings ;)
Letting your fellow moderators know about your absences.
Moderator Requirements
We require our moderators:
Have a HearthPwn account in excellent standing.
Be active on the website and continue to be active.
To be active on our web-based chat, Slack. This is an essential part of moderator communications.
To accept the Moderator Code of Conduct (seen below). If you don't agree with this, do not apply.
A Note on Moderator Activity
We understand that you cannot be around 24/7 and we don't expect that of you, we just want you to be active in your duties. If you are currently an active poster on the site, moderating may only add 15 extra minutes to your daily rounds each day.
Please don't apply if you only intend to stick around for a couple of weeks or simply want some forum flair that makes you stand out.
Moderator Code of Conduct
The moderator agrees:
To be respectful of all members, each other, and the administration of HearthPwn.com and to represent the website of HearthPwn.com with professionalism, even though we are all volunteers;
To understand that not all decisions are open for group discussion because input arrives from many sources, some of which require privacy and confidentiality;
To be discreet and to maintain confidentiality regarding moderator forum activities and member information;
To agree to use private emails and private messaging to communicate with the administrative team when questioning administration policy or guidelines or decisions on specific issues;
To resign from moderator duties if there is a breech of confidentiality, if the code of conduct is not followed, or if the rules of HearthPwn or the authority of the administration are not recognized.
Open Positions
The following positions are currently open and accepting applications. Please excuse the formatting of the applications, we don't use this very often and it needs some work ;)
I am moderator in Brazilian foruns, I can help with the annoying spam problems if I have the moderators tools, but because English is not my language I can't help with disciplinary problems with members, have a good chance of communications problems.

Unfortunately like you said that won't really be a good fit then. And since removing spam is integrated in the moderator toolkit it's not easy to only grant someone those abilities. Thanks for the interest in helping though!
I'm a moderator at Sparkylinux forum and ChaletOS forum and would be thankful to you guys if you let me join the team. I played HEARTHSTONE in Asia server and joined NA server recently as a tournament in India requires NA decks even though the competition was started in Asia region, when I asked the respective team about the same, I was told that players in India requested for NA decks to be used and was advised by other players to play at NA rather than Asia-server as NA players have good tournaments, Indian players sent me a message quoting that India is in general considered as NA zone. So, new with the cards and hoping to make it big some time in the mere future. Thanks.
I'm glad that we're seeing a recruitment coming along. I appreciate the search for some more moderators - it'll really help clean out the spam and keep this website, well, moderated.
We've got 5 new moderators who will be joining the team to help with spam and general forum duties. We could not accept everyone (I wanted to, jmxd and xskarma wouldn't let me) but do know that we thank you all for your applications.
There's a few applications that came in over night that we haven't had a chance to review, but they will unfortunately most likely be declined due to meeting our quota. If we have room for some more mods in the future (we will) we ask that everyone still interested apply again :D
I'd like to try and open up mod recruitment again in the next month or so. Bring on a couple of new awesome people before the upcoming adventure as I suspect we will have at least a month's notice between announcement and launch - it's always great for more helping hands during new content releases :D
Again, thank you everyone that applied, and sorry we couldn't bring you all on board.

Is there a problem with the links?
Unstable portal -> Servant of Yogg-Saron -> Brawl -> Servant wins with opponent's board full. Never Lucky
Should be good, severely butchered a copy and paste from the old mod recruitment thread. Not that I've ever copied and pasted anything at all. Ever.
Looking forward to some new team members, we have cake!

Ok then.
Can't you accept some new team members which are willing to help with Innkeeper for Mac.

The Roshambo to Hearthstone. Please be nice. Don't insult or be mad at someone for throwing Rock.

No reason this should have been bumped - that's a paddlin'.
Truth be told, we only look at applicants who have a posting history on the site.
