More skill in arena for Trump and more personality for Amaz. Hafu is just cute and good looking and nice to watch.
I take umbrage again.
Hafu is a good player. There are other cute females who stream Hearthstone, and they don't get anywhere near Hafu's numbers because they are terrible at the game.
As well, Kripparrian regularly pulls in more viewers than Hafu, yet he's not female.
(I don't watch Hafu that often. She's too bubbly for my tastes. I prefer Kripp's laid back, sarcastic and cynical attitude.)
... but you, me, and your mother all know females in general get more/special treatment over the internet.
The problem is not that she's female, but that lonely nerds think throwing money at them increases the odds their fantasies come to fruition. I don't blame the women for receiving money, I blame the men.
If the woman didnt wear low cut shirts / get drunk on stream / have the cam aimed directly at their cleavage I would agree. It's basically softcore stuff thats free, and you can easily get the other party to respond directly to you. I tend not to watch female streams cause of that and the fact most of them arnt very good, my favorite streamer would have to be DKMR Soda or Kripp for the laid back chill environment combined with good play.

Some cleavage has never made me want to reach into my wallet. Especially since the internet is full of entirely free nudity. I suppose I have more self-control/sense than lonely nerds.
The top people, like Kripparrian, Hafu and Trump, earn between $1000-$2000 per week, a mix of subs, donations and ad revenue. Some of them earn more via sponsorships and appearances.
You mean the top people in Hearthstone.
Because Xpeke from League of legends showed his tax return and he made 1 million from streaming money only.

I know she's a good player and i said so in the beginning of the post. But she has some qualities than no man can ever have and i'm pretty sure many people watch her because of that, And there is nothing wrong on that, thats just how the society works. I'm sure that i wouldn't spend 1 min watching her if she went softcore/hardcore on camera. For that i have porn. .
when i'm watching a stream i'm mainly trying to learn how to be better at the game, so thats the base of a good streamer. Now what makes some more popular then the others is the personality. Or in hafu's case, the fact that she's cute and only girls can be cute. And man in general like that.
Its just how it works, it doesn't mean she*s an internet whore or a bad player.

Yeah. HS only. I don't watch other games. Though I would assume as Hearthstone matures and becomes more of a recognizable e-Sport, that HS streamer "salaries" will increase as well.

I highly doubt this!
During the height of his popularity, Kripparrian was earning between $15K and $18K per month from both Twitch streaming and his YouTube channel.
It's hard to say what he is earning now, but I would suspect in the $8K to $10K per month range.
If that's true, fair play to him/them, I wouldn't have imagined anything close to that.
They're the exception though, as far as HS streamers go. I'd say the rest are on $1000 or much less for more casual streamers, per month. I remember one of the prominent world of tanks streamers saying once that he made about a basic wage from streaming + ad revenue.

I'd say the really popular HS streamers (outside of Kripp) are in the $3K - $6K range (Trump, Amaz, Hafu, Reynad). Most Hearthstone streamers don't pay much attention to YouTube, which can be a major boost to income. Anyone who can pull 1K to 2K viewers and streams daily is probably earning between $1K - $2K per month. Everyone else is far less.
Kripp generally streams 8 hours per day seven days per week, and he produces one YouTube video per day. When Kripp was only doing YouTube back in his early D3 days, producing a video a per day, he was earning around $6K per month. He has stated that when he began streaming daily, his income tripled. Moving to HS he has lost some of his audience, while picking up others. His video views are about half of what they used to be. And streaming for EU now, he's not getting the 20+K viewers he normally got when he was streaming in the NA timezone. Which is why I figure he's between $8K - $10K now.
I'm pretty sure most of their money is from donations, especially since so many people use adblock. I know there's one guy, I think he's a WoW Streamer (Sodapoppin?), he's been given things like fifty thousand dollars or more from single donations. Something about $90k from one single guy over several donations.
I'm going to compare streaming sort of to freelance artists, maybe. Most with effort will make average/below average income and be able to get by just fine, and most will have regular customers who favor commissioning the artist. Then some days they can have a sudden influx of commission requests, and will suddenly have more cash laying around before it returns to a regular income.
Of course, popularity would be a large factor. More followers/viewers = more people wanting to buy/donate, so "top streamers" definitely has a large factor in "top income".
tl;dr: I'm just going to say that their income would be pretty random and constantly vary, but would overall simply be enough to let them live their lives. But then there's always the lucky few who are probably just rolling in money, I guess xP
I've seen streamers get up to $1000 donations, but nothing that high! And .... sodapoppin!?? wow, I don't know how anyone can watch him for more than a minute, let alone donate for him to keep going! [personal opinion mind, I'm sure loads love him]
Another thing to consider, btw, is the length of time these high end streamers have been streaming. Folks like Trumps and Amaz are long-time celebrities who made their name in SC. Thus you're seeing a WELL matured business that's continuing strong. They've spent their time many years ago starting from scratch.
Thus it seems the biggest qualifier is time. Put enough time in so that something can happen. Second biggest is to be interesting: a reason why people watch you. Be informative . Be entertaining. Be salty. Be alluring. Be SOMETHING that makes you different from others enough for folks to choose you instead of someone else.
Sort of like hearthstone decks. You need a deck that's solid but 'unfair' compared to other decks, and you need to play the (#)$(#) out of it to master it adn know just what it needs.
Just because it says someone donated on stream doesn't mean the money comes through. It's easy to cancel a transaction after and I think I heard 4 out of 5 donations actually don't end up being real (backed out by donator not fake from the streamers side). I have heard that youtube is a good earner though from a few people before (Trump, TB, Kripp etc)
the top streamer probably make more than avg 9-5 workers.
i watched forsen's stream one time and it had non-stop donation of $2, just because they were all telling jokes to forsen, it's gotta be close to $100 during that short 10-15 mins session.
I take umbrage again.

Enough said.

One does not simply walk into Mordor,
unless they want to be the best they can be.
Forsen got 200k in 8months. Don't remember if subscriber money included..

Let's also not forget taxes.

The other day Forsen accidentally showed his donation page and since the beginning on December through to the 16th he made 18k purely off donations.
