Alright so I've had the most trouble reaching rank 15. I'm currently at 16, and I keep balancing between two, and three stars. I've been playing face hunter, mid hunter, and patron warrior. Now I don't have Dr.Balanced, but I do have all of Naxx, (pretty much only legendaries I have). Every time it gets time for me to hit 15 I always lose. Is there any advice yall have? Maybe a pretty cheap deck to hit 15 with?
I'm probably not. I built the standard patron build, but I seem to have a hard time winning with it. I've faced quite a few varied decks. Some weird agro mages ( two in a row. different people) , face hunter , mid hunter, freeze mage, patron, and probably more.
Watch streams of players playing your decks and learn what you're doing wrong. It takes little to no effort to hit at least rank 10 playing any deck if you have a sufficient understanding of what to mulligan and when/what to trade.
EDIT: Also, you mention you basically only have naxx but you're laddering with Patron Warrior???
Coming from another player near your rank, I'm 14, what I would say is consistency. I'm a casual player and I used to only hit 18ish and this season I hit 14. Like some people said, you can pretty much play any deck up to 10 most likely, which I hope to do by the end of this season. I've been trying to play more consistent, more on curve, know the other decks.
I don't know what you do or don't do to better your game, but, I think if you follow FilterSC ideas of setting benchmarks and following through REGARDLESS of win or lose it can help. So, in SC he made videos of benchmarks to hit for playing zerg for example. First it was to have X drones by whatever time. X Roaches by some other time. Attack at X time. Every game, every time. Doesn't matter what the opponent is doing. Get used to your build order, get used to playing.
Maybe we can set up something similar to that for HS. Like, just a stupid idea right now because I didn't really think an example through, maybe make a facehunter or zoolock (or any deck, whatever). Play on curve and always face regardless if it is good or bad for you, just to learn the reaction of other decks and learn/feel which decks it threatens more or which decks is least affected etc. Then, 100 games later, you know that your deck is strong in this position on this turn vs this deck and weak in this position on this turn vs this deck. Hopefully then you start making better decisions and can move on to another benchmark.
The purpose is just to collect information and get experience, nothing else. You might lose every game, winning isn't the point.
Sorry for a huge post haha, but, it is what I'm currently doing for myself. It is hard because I haven't been higher rank so I can't coach myself on "benchmarks" and give experienced advice to myself about what is more important at rank 10, but, might as well try.
Rank 16 patron players are heartbreaking, don't bother with the deck if that's where you're at.
I've facerolled to rank 5 two seasons in a row using the same basic cancer facehunter, the best tip I can offer is just think of everything in terms of damage:mana ratio. There shouldn't be anything in your deck that isn't minimum 2-damage per card, from there just hit curve, making sure to hero power almost every turn after turn 3.

Patron isn't very good at lower ranks, neither is control warrior or freeze mage. Most control decks are bad in lower ranks unless they have really good antiaggro stuff. Dragon Priest is good cuz their hero power, and all the strong taunters.
A lot of ppl say to watch streamers. Don't. It does nothing.Watching sports doesn't make you good at sports. Watching LoL doesn't make you DIamond.
My advice at that rank is to go with Zoo lock. Still super cheap, doesn't require any legendary or epics and still has a solid win-rate even in this meta. I was able to hit Rank 5 (and golden warlock portrait. Hurray!) this season with it. If you need, I'll post the deck list I used (though my decklist has Dr. Boom in it but he certainly isn't required for the deck to function).
There's a very strong chance that you're playing without thinking 1 or 2 turns ahead. Feel free to add me some time and we can spar/spectate so I can give pointers :)

Building Quirky Decks Every Week, Loving Life at Rank 15!
Alright everyone sorry for the late replies. First off I wanted to say thank you. I took some ideas , and mixed beast hunter/mid hunter. Went on a 4 win streak down to rank 15! I'm gonna try to go a bit lower, but my goal is achieved for this season. (I just wanted a golden rare..)

Congrats on achieving your goal. Really and truly, struggling around rank 15 points to sub-optimal gameplay. Which might sound like an insult, but it's actually great because if you improve your gameplay, you will improve your rank.
My advice is this: making fewer mistakes than the other guy is half the battle.
Take the time when mulliganing to consider what you will do on turns 1, 2, 3. The coin will affect this.
Don't play fast, even if you think you know your play already.
Make sure you have enough mana for the play before doing anything else.
Double check that you are grabbing the correct card from your hand before flinging it out.
Consider how minion placement may affect future turns.
Know how your opponent might punish your play (i.e., playing into Swipe against a Druid)
Give some thought to the order of operations (i.e., should you clear that minion before activating Knife Juggler to send the damage elsewhere? At what point this turn could you play Sea Giant for the least mana?)
If you think you have lethal, count twice.
If you're just short of lethal, can your opponent punish you for using too many resources too soon? (i.e. Brawl)
Even much higher up the ladder, I lost two games today by breaking rules 2/4 and 9.
Patron can get you to legend but not easily. Patron warrior is one of the hardest decks to learn in the game. Although it's one of the strongest decks it's very complex. I suggest watching pro level players play patron or other decks. I know Trump is doing a free to play ladder climb on his youtube channel you should check that out.
I used to have a lot of trouble breaking 10, but nowadays it's a lot easier. The big changes I made that got me more consistently where I want to be:
1) Pick a deck and use it (at least almost) exclusively. You may think you know your deck, but you almost definitely can know it better. The longer you use your deck, the better you'll know how it needs to be played against various archetypes you're running into. You'll develop a much better mulligan strategy, and you'll be more comfortable and confident, which leads to less mistakes.
2) Get a deck tracker. As someone said in another similar thread: Your brain is your enemy. Get yourself a tracker (I use this: https://github.com/Epix37/Hearthstone-Deck-Tracker/) and study your stats. See where your weaknesses lie, pay attention to your win/loss. Revise and track the new revisions and see if there's a marked increase. Also pay attention to the stats of who you're playing against so you can...
3) Research. If you're seeing a lot of one archetype (or having trouble with one in particular), look around online for how other people handle it. Tweak your decks accordingly. Watch streams or videos of that matchup and learn from their actions. Post here for advice like you already are.
These couple of things will improve your play a lot more than you might suspect. It certainly has worked for me. I haven't hit legend yet, but over the last two months I took to the ladder I went from finishing below 10 to finishing in the upper echelon (5 and 6).
KNOW YOUR DECK! That's the number 1 rule. Know when your deck should trade or go face (just because you're face hunter, don't avoid trading your stealthed 2/1 for their knife juggler).
Look up muligans for your deck to make your match up better. Finally, know your key cards for each match up (example: snow chugga destroys warrior and paladin, so always keep and know when to use effectively)
