I've been playing a lot of dragon priest this season (rank 1 right now) and, although I have seen other people claim that patron is about a 50/50, I really don't believe it. Tempostorm has dragon priest vs. patron at 50/50 and vs. control warrior at 40/60. I'd say it's more like 70/30 and 20/80, possibly even worse. It might be that my list is more aggressive than most, but I can only beat CW if I'm very lucky and only lose to patron if I have an unusually slow start (or if he draws perfectly).
As general advice vs. dragon priest, I'd say that, unless you're very lucky, the win you should be aiming for is a Frothing Berserker OTK. Save your removal (especially Execute) for the three big taunts (Twilight Guardians and Chillmaw), stall and build armor as much as possible, and try to get the priest to overextend into a board you can develop the OTK from.

Nah I think you're just right. I don't think the Tempostorm people (I could be wrong though) necessarily play all the decks. I think most of it is just educated guessing and theory. In practice, Control Warrior is essentially unwinnable unless they ROYALLY screw up. They have too much removal for you to establish anything early game, they all know to save a removal for Ysera, and they know they don't HAVE to apply any pressure because Dragon Priest lacks direct damage other than in the form of board control. They just leave you at 30 hp until they draw their whole deck, then it's alex -> grom/activator/weapon swing. Saving a Holy Nova/death for the Alex won't save you. Frankly, I've even found CW to be a WAY worse matchup than Handlock, which is the one everyone complains about.
Dragon Priest has a pretty favorable matchup against patron, especially if it plays Chillmaw. Chillmaw can prevent the frothing OTK most of the time and lightbomb or +spell damage holy nova takes care of Patrons pretty easily. Twilight Guardian is a thorn in Patron's side and almost everything dragon priest uses has high health, meaning they can absorb multiple Patron hits. Patron is Patron and sometimes you just can't apply enough pressure before the kill comes but I've felt less helpless against Patron with my Dpriest than usual. Try to keep the board as clear as possible - without a board Dragon Priest is entirely helpless. Use your weapons aggressively to keep them from getting too set up.
Fairly new to playing patron. is it just me or is this matchup fairly impossible to win

Control Warrior is hard to beat, Patron isn't.
