overall aggro is easier bc its like you are day 1 of HS going face and trying to make appropriate trades every once in a while but just going face and just praying there isnt a board clear the next turn. control is just easier for me bc i think i am so used to it. or maybe it was bc i would play 15 hatch zerg for so many years. combo is just hard for me and in general because i feel like its so important to have 4 specific cards in your hand or youre screwed.
Let me say that this is a very common mentality for a lot of Hearthstone, or in general, card game players. They think back on day one, when they are learning the game. People tell them about damage the opponent and considering blockers / trades. Then they will start to learn about mana curve. Followed by card advantages and tempo.
All these builds a little network of "ifs" conditions.

Because there are so many people that think this way, this "ifs" condition network actually works, because what could go wrong if we all follow the ifs and elses? They are not to blame. Card game IS hard. You need to know the rules. You need to know the cards. You need to know the meta. You need to know the players. You need to know their decks. You need to know their mentality. And so on and so on. Lots of tiny little details that if we don't build mental shortcuts, we are likely to take 3 minutes to take a turn.
However, this mentality hurts a player's growth. They are trying to program themselves into a card playing machine. Every victory means the program works nicely. Every defeat means the program has bugs, and in need of a fix, in the form of more conditions, or amending existing conditions. But the problem is, this way of thinking makes this kind of players very predictable. Predictable players never reach high level plays.
"Aggro decks are easy" - this statement is partly built on this mentality. Writing a bot for aggro decks is easier than writing one for say... Malygos Shaman. But a bot with an aggro deck can only achieve mediocre results. You can't constantly beat an experienced player with an aggro deck, because they can anticipate your play, and counter them accordingly. They will know when to play minions, when to play card draw, when to kill you minions.
I will concede to the point that "Aggro decks will never be the hardest to play". Aggro decks exploit a very fundamental concept - the Sligh deck concept. With sufficiently abundant low mana creatures, distributed so that you can use up every mana crystal per turn, you can build up a tempo advantage such that your opponent will be unable to recover. Also Aggro versus Control is like "Questions" versus "Answer". A famous saying is that "There is no wrong questions, only wrong answers".

Patron is hard and if you say it isn't - you are delusional. It's easy when the turn comes, the kindergarden aritmetics are also a joke - but restraining your resources is hard for players used to play midrange normally. There is a lot of desision making in this.

I would have said combo due to Oil Rogue and Patron Warrior, two decks that need your full attention during each game, but then again Force/Savage Druid is also considered a combo deck and it's almost on the level of a Face Hunter. To me, playing, say, control priest is about as difficult as playing face Shaman, but their decisions are different, since their roles in most matchups are different.
Midrange decks are exactly in the middle. Playing cards is generally very easy, since they mostly play on curve. But they generally do more trading than control or aggro, so there are potentially more decisions to be made on the board. So, my list is (from easy to hard):
Easiest: Midrange, because most Midrange decks simply tend to play efficient on curve and have a straight forward gameplan (win via board control or be a Druid)
This is just not true lol. It's true that most midrange decks that have existed in the game(midrange hunter,druid,secret paladin, dragon priest,...) fall into that category, but that doesn't mean the archetype has to look like that. By definition a midrange deck is a deck that plays with a mix of control and aggro, depending on the match up and the situation, and that versatility should also come with the necessity to have awareness of when to go for either, which arguably makes the deck more complex than either aggro or control. Some of the(extremely few) midrange decks that have existed in the game and don't fall into the category you mentioned are midrange paladin(no secrets version) and tempo mage, and both are at least above average in terms of the gap between the skill floor and the skill ceiling.
IMO the existence of overpowered midrange minions like shredder,belcher,boom etc is what makes midrange decks a lot easier to play than they should, and I wish blizzard would only realize this and stopped releasing them.

yes, playing "face is the place" does not require a lot of skill, but if you try to win every game, even against matchups you arent supposed to win, playing aggro requires a lot of knowledge, calculating odds and damage
playing midrange is simple as fuck. just play the biggest minion every round ... yes, very hard. i dont care about midrange druid, i started the game with midrange hunter and every deck i played after it took more thoughts to put in... also secret pally is also a midrange deck, for all of you, that dont know
Less cards in hand means less chance to misplay (relying more on "luck"). Aggro decks, while still not "easy" to use are more playable then Control. But you can only play with the hand you got, so if you curve out perfectly, then every deck can be easy etc.
Except that aggro decks also punish you a lot harder for making mistakes with the few choices that you have. The fact is neither play style is inherently easier to play, but people obviously pick aggro a lot more on the lower ranks of ladder due to games being faster and the decks generally being cheaper to craft. Then people on those ranks end up facing terrible face hunter players in over 50% of their games and assume the deck is easy to play against actual players who know how to play around your cards and force you to play around theirs.
Even though most midrange decks that are currently a part of the meta are incredibly simple, I even think that the archetype only looks like that because blizzard has fucked it up by releasing overly powerful midrange minions on every expansion so far.

I think agro is easiest in general, but there are definitely different difficulty levels to decks in all levels of the spectrum.
Easy midrange deck: combo Druid
Hard midrange deck: midrange Shaman
Hard Control deck: Handlock
Easy Control deck: Dragon Priest
Hard aggro deck: Zoo
Easy aggro deck; Face Hunter

Aggro: Play the cards that deals the most damage. Wait for the chance to deal the last points of damage.
Combo: Play control until you have the combo, and finish the game.
Midrange: Play control until you've got board advantage, start going face
Control: Play control until you've won
Easiest: Aggro
Medium: Combo and midrange
Hardest: Control
...
HOWEVER:
Handlock is easier than Control Warrior.
Control Warrior is easier than Freeze Mage.
Some combo decks are hard to play.
