Those are valid options, but after ~15 games I played this deck. Tirion Fordring mostly served me as a one turn delayer. The taunt is vital in these matchups where it comes down to last 2 turns being race.
In those cases, even Annoy-o-Tron would be better than Ragnaros the Firelord. In games where I didn't use him semi-defensively, I played him in a situation I didn't need him to win most of the time.
So I would see Sunwalker as a better replacement if you don't have Tirion.
It balances the game, making midrange stronger vs other archetypes not being able to run pilot like freeze mage and decks having specific strong 4drop options like handlock.
Nerfing pilot wouldn't change anything in midrange-midrange, the spot would just be taken by something else, probably yeti and midrange would get weaker vs other matchups.
It's dead because everything bellow T3 is dead, it's alive in same way malygos shaman is alive.
I am looking towards Axe Flinger more than worgen for new warrior archetype.
I've been thinking Bouncing Blade + Axe Flinger could be a thing for a while, but with a stronger combo for Warrior it was never really worth it.
Just wondering, how this combo works with Commanding Shout and empty board? O_o
The Bouncing Blade will stop when it is going to hit a minion with 1 hp and imunity when it has no other choise (playing it on empty board for example) the last "hit/nonhit" doesn't trigger the Flinger. Used to be limit of 80 bounces to prevent infinite loops, it can also end when stat on a minion overflows int32 limitations (buffing dmg of a minion like Gahz'rilla etc.) because overflow seems to have a special sequence break in HS, it used to evaporate the minion that overflows, now it seems like the minion just gets to negative value if it's attack (so we can assume they used signed int - which we could already guessed from the limit itself) and the minion apears to have 0 attack.
I don't think you should punish people for making animation-heavy plays. The fact that the most animation-heavy combo is also in tier1 deck should have nothing to do with aproach to this.
Btw your timer is extended a littlebit by every trigger/play your opponent makes to make up for animations creeping into your turn. That was not always the case, so we can see Blizzard knows about this and they think or at least thought about this issue.

I had very strong déjà vu from this thread. I like the idea, but someone else made almost exactly the same idea in THIS THREAD 2 days ago. He called it battlefield instead of battleground.

Why not make it more relevant for shamans, "Your spells roll high this turn" would just mean you roll max. dmg from Crackle,Lightning Storm,etc..
Would it be too OP considering you have to spend 2 mana on totem for it and you had to play Justicar turn before, considering state of shaman atm?

It is actually not staple anymore.
It's not even played in most dragon lists - i would say less than 10% priests i met play him.
