Heya, no need to ask permission. You gotta do what you gotta do and the opponent really doesn't get a vote in the matter. I actually think this is one of the great things about this game that your turn is your turn and the opponent's role is that of a spectator. In MtG the opponent would take their sweet time puzzling over the cards and the board and eventually playing, and then during my turn the would take their sweet time pondering whether to use an interrupt/instant. I have always been a member of the 'if the game allows it' camp and I feel HS is no different. Whatever I can figure out how to do on my turn, or even your turn (hovering over items, emoting) is fair game.

I myself dislike the fact that nothing your opponent does matters at all. You can go completely AFK, then just look at the board state and the history bar to know exactly what they did on their turn. I feel that in a competitive game, it should matter that there is an actual presence against you, otherwise it just feels like a single player game.
Oh, but on your "If the game allows it" mantra, I'd have to counter with something like "Pyromancer, Acolyte, & Tracking (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=19LnmFdjl7U)" sure it was patched, so it cannot be done now. But your mantra seems to suggest that everyone should have been running that combo when it wasn't working as intended.
I prefer the whole "treat others as you would like" mantra. With that said, I also would recommend the OP to just play out your BM quickly. You don't have to wait 70 seconds before you start playing your cards and BMing if your actually trying to do dailies. Just quickly play out your mana and do all that you need. More than likely, if you have impending lethal you already know what cards you must play in order to deliver lethal, so you can quickly calculate your leftover mana cost for BM. Also, your enemy likely took long on their turn if they were pushed into a corner, so you can think of your entire BM during their turn as well.
Oh, but about people taking their sweet time in MTG. I agree, that would be an annoyance of the interrupt system. But I do like the interactivity of the system as well. IMO, people taking forever on their turns irks me in both Hearthstone and MTG. But more often then not, in IRL card games, people generally take their time to actually plan their move. In Hearthstone people can just take the 90 seconds just because.
All of those daily quests are 40 gold and should be rerolled. I try to actively AVOID doing those quests lol
Those are my favourite ones cause' I've only got time to play maybe 2-4 games a day, so even if I have a losing streak I'm still able to progress towards clearing out my quests ;)
I'm probably trying to kill minions, play spells, do hero damage, or play minions for my daily quest.

Free to try and find a game, dealing cards for sorrow, cards for pain.

I don't want you to ask to BM me. Just do it. Be confident and assertive.
Feel free to add me if you play on NA! iMPose#1429
