I think it's safe to say that without a doubt this game is MOSTLY luck and accepting that FACT makes it easier to deal with the bull shit. Just WAY too many variables for any rational person to truly think this game has anything to do with skill. What a fucking joke. Bad starting cards, bad matchups, lucky top decks, the list goes on for like ten fucking pages of ways you can NOT control what happens.
And, before the legend weenies come in with their bull shit, trust us, legend players simply play more and have found some meta-busting deck through extreme experimentation that they go on a win streak with. That's really all it is.
glad we got that out of the way. You're fucking welcome. :)
What the actual fuck? This time last week I could play my (midrange) decks and wreck ladder. Now I can't get a win to save my life. it's one loss after another. I've tried adjusting my decks, I've tried just attributing it to simple bad luck and keeping going, but it's nonstop losses. I've lost 6 ranks SINCE last week, the meta has not changed, and the opponents I have faced have not changed either. SO WHAT THE FUCK IS GOING ON!?
So irritated that the same EXACT decks I was facing just a few days ago and tearing apart I now cannot win against.
Honestly, how is Savage roar still at fucking 3 mana. Fucking druids have been relevant since the beginning of time, in fact they weren't even bad during Patron era. Everything about how Druids can pull wins out of absolutely nowhere pisses me off.
You know those games, where you clearly have the board won, but can't immediately end the game within a few turns, and the Druid, like a desperate hooker, does everything in his power to get you down to 14. And then he wins anyways cuz he top decked that innervate or that final piece of that combo to kill you from an empty board. Or when he occasionally innervates double roars and kills you around 22 hp.
Doesn't help when Druid is among the most brain dead decks to play. At most, you need to know when to trade vs when to face. Other than that, play things on curve, and laugh as your opponent scrambles to clear your board.
FUCKING RNG!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! FUCKING GAME!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I'm on a win streak in arena 4-1 (lost my first game due to a missplay), facing a mage, I draw my entire end game in the first 3 turns, he starts droping minions, somehow I manage to survive and stabilize with consecration. Turn 7 he drops Dr.Boom, I manage to kill it but not the bots. Turn 8 he drops a Gorrila Bot and get Foe Reaper 4000 which and I didn't draw anything to answer it. Concede. gg. Ok 4-2 maybe I can do 7-2 because I have a decent deck. Facing another mage, Turn 1 Wyrm, I coin a Mechwarper because I have nothing in my hand to answer it and I have two shielded minibots in my deck. Turn 2 he plays Arcane Missiles, perfect RNG, 3 hits on my Mechwarper. Turn 3 I play a sword of justice, he plays a Razorfen Hunter. Turn 4 I play a Ironfur Grizzly because I have nothing better, it's 4/4, he plays Goblin Blastmage, perfect RNG again, 4 hits on my Ironfur Grizzly. Concede. gg.
I'm probably going to stop doing Arena for a while to focus on the SP xpacs, I can never seem to get past at least three victories. I even lost a first match against a Warrior, as a Mage, in Arena. While this may be a guess, it seems Blizzard stealth-nerfed the chances of getting Paladin as a choice in Arena, I haven't even fought a single one of them during my tilted losing spree there, it was mostly Warlocks, Mages and a few Priests.
I went into ranked mode to complete a rogue dominance quest. I had just made a Malygos rogue deck and I was excited to finally try it out. I got matched up against a Handlock. I had lethal: Play Malygos, double Deadly Poison and finally Blade Flurry to finish him off (Thaurissan reduced cost of cards for lethal). I played Malygos, I played the deadly poisons, and then I played Blade Flurry...
... Disconnected...
But wait! There's more! I now can't log into hearthstone anymore for some reason, so now I don't even know if I actually lost the match though I assume I did because why would he concede with his board (double giants w/ taunt)? I can't even play again to make up for the loss.
If I had a gold coin for every time this has happened, I wouldn't play hearthstone anymore because I'd have all the cards and there would be no more reason to put myself through this frustration.
Uhm, i think that was me. HAHAHA :P Sorry my friend, but that's how the game works. Just like how i get pissed when warlock's reno up to full hp when they're just 3 points off lethal. Like so close yet so far.
Man, deck-building Brawls are only fun when you actually HAVE the cards. Friggin' RNG$$$tone. Ick. Pretty annoyed also that I can't do my daily quests because I have so little cards in other classes that work.
Build Facehunter. That's what gets me my one win in most brawls and you can grind for gold pretty easily with it.
The ladder is fucking bullshit really. Went on a good winstreak from rank 20 to 14.. Now lost 5 times in a row against them gay paladins.
Each puking their hand out, not thinking for a very second what they're about to do. BLIZZARD I hope you nerf that gay deck really, really soon.
edit: seven times
EDIT: SEVEN TIMES
SEVEN TIMES
Everything that isn't about elephants is irrelephant.
Dafuq, now even a facewarrior.. cuntgame
Every day for the past month, 40 dust packs. 10 days of pure grinding for 1 epic. 40 days for 1 legendary.
Never ever lucky. FeelsBadMan.
The pioneers used to ride these babies for miles
I THINK WHAT YOU MEANT TO SAY WAS "SEVEN TIMES."

I win due to skill and lose due to bad RNG. :D

Just play secret paladin like everyone else and think you got legit legend.
Played 2 Games, Twice against Druid.
First one played turn 2 Loatheb.
Second played turn 3 Dr Boom.
Decided to call it a day.

Actually, Secret Paladin is the reason I decided to take the season off from grinding ladder.
It's mentally tiring to swim through a sea of Cookie Cutter Paladins all day, every day.

The ladder gives me such a headache.
priests, constantly stealing my cards.
frustrating to play against, even worse to lose against.
not op. not broken. but... god damn is it ever aggravating.
