Patchwerk destroyed one of the horsemen shuffled in my deck after Rivendare, Warrider died. I managed to destroy the remaining two horsemen, but the deathrattle didn’t trigger. The minion hit by Patchwerk in the deck didn’t count as died? I think that if something is destroyed then it dies, like the minion hit by Patchwerk on the board, so this might be a bug.
Hey guys, this might be a common bug. Recently, Patchwerk destroyed my Foul Egg and Thassarian and I didn't summon a 3/3 nor did I deal 2 damage to a random enemy :(

As with all death-related effects, Deathrattles only activate when the minion dies while in the battlefield. Discarding a minion from the hand or removing it from the deck will not activate its Deathrattle.
Guys, if someone asks a question, answer it or shut up. Nobody's asking for your patronising, childish ridicules.
If this was a physical card game with an actual graveyard, then almost assuredly the deathrattle would be phrased "If the other three are in your graveyard" rather than "died this game". In which case having horsemen sent from your hand or deck to the graveyard would actual count the way OP thought. Not having a proper graveyard is one of the more disappointing aspects of hearthstone on a mechanical level.

I think only minions on the board can die. Everything else gets destroyed and thus does not count as dead.
Destroyed is not died. Only minions on the board can die. A card in your deck can’t die unless it’s played.
Lol this topic is like saying that if you discard a horseman it should count as dying.
Learn the mechanics bro.

By that logic Cataclysm shouldnt trigger deathrattles.
This post is why this game is getting so braindead it's barely enjoyable.
Patchwerk want to Play, so you aren't ending the game anytime soon.
