No, but the taintheart tormenter needs to survive. For example, if the opponent plays a maw of c'thun on your taintheart tormenter, it will kill him. And while the opponent spent 7 mana instead of 5, the game doesn't count it because the minion died.
I just finished the caravans one and it's, by far, the worst achievement so far. Oh my yogg was bad to be certain, but due to the sheer amount of exceedingly dumb individuals on ladder, having a caravan survive more than one turn is absurdly difficult. When I was doing it with shaman a sodding hunter had 4 choices to hit with the overkill spell: two 2/4 crabriders, the 1/3 give rush murloc and the caravan, while I had 7 cards in hand...he chose to hit the caravan. I don't try to even hit face (in the blind hope people realise that I don't care to win) but I was so pissed I buffed the board twice and killed him two turns later. Can't abide this level of stupidity.
So the best way to do that achievement in standard is hope you find AFK players...that's about it.
Has anyone calculated how much extra XP can one get by completing all these?
most of the achvement you lose XP for doing since there take way to long compared to you loseing each game and not winning and gettting 400+ exp per hour but only getting 250 per hour becouse you lose each game with bad decks

it doesnt matter if you win or lose. you dont get more xp for winning.
i dont think the paladin is that random, first i thought the chance was astronomically low to get 3 of the same adventurers (for the possible 8) and the 4 even lower, but when i started the game, in my first game i immediately got the 3 same, and in the next game i got the 4 instantly so i played only 2 games played the Party Up card 4 times and finished the achievement, and i just dont believe that im this lucky, rng has to be manipulated in some way and i completed every achievement from the miniset, the DH is the worst (slowest)
yeah, i'm pretty sure you got very lucky my man. i am going to bed sad now, having played 43 Party Up!s, and while i have gotten a whole bunch of triples, no quads yet....
insanely lucky, I've played party up well over 100 times and never more than 3 of the same minion
The vast majority of these appear to be really possible, yet I can't resist the urge to see that one for paladin... trigger 5 mysteries in a single turn. Well, wasn't Yogg-champion of last development adequately awful?
Most importantly, anyway you want your adversary to set off this for you, isn't that so? Or on the other hand is this main accomplished by the one that sets off the insider facts?
Expecting the one played the mysteries (the paladin player), then you want to have every one of them dynamic first, thus, play them generally on a similar turn, likely, so one doesn't get set off prudently. And afterwards you really want your rival to enact them...
Chances are, in the event that you're a good player, you will understand what mysteries they have, since it would be every one of them accessible, and you'll be attempting to play around them. So your adversary will conclude whether you get this accomplishment. Once more. :P

I think there is something lost in translation here. Yes, since they are secrets, your opponent has to trigger them.
If you check the recommendation for the achievement, you see that all the five secrets can be triggered in one turn and they all trigger when your opponent attacks with a 3 attack minion.
So yes, if your minion is killed with a spell or through other means and your opponent doesn't attack, then you won't trigger all 5 required secrets.

Very easy solution for the caravan quest:
play res priest with caravans in it. Easy peasy
Wow, thanks! That's the reason for the slow progression... the first thing my opponent always does is killing him.
