pity timers work for sets. golden classic is still classic set.
the first ten pack rule means you will have at least one legendary in the first 10 packs of any set you open. i am pretty sure you've already opened more than 10 classic packs in your hearthstone career.
TL;DR it's not rigged, you just didn't understand how pity timers work
Exactly, that should be posted everywhere so that everyone knows... In fact, it should have been made much more public and much earlier.
In short: buying golden packs is throwing money away, since they do not respect any pity timer and therefore the cards to be obtained are always purely random (in the vast majority of cases a golden pack will simply be 300 arcane dust)
Today i opened my 10th golden classic pack (the one given for free today). I got 1 rare and 4 basic cards. Did this happen to anyone else?
I am 98% sure it has been said that golden packs do not operate on any sort of pity timer. Other people can confirm or deny that.
golden classic packs don't have their own pity timer, I think they share one with regular classic packs.
Would be weird if they didn't have a pity timer at all.
You didn't search did you? No pity timer that we know of. But of course it's rigged.

not same but, mentioned that golden legendary pity timer gone.
Afaik must be a golden legendary guaranteed on 200th pack. Prolly wasted about 250 packs on last set but not got any.
wouldn't the 10 pack rule only count from expansion release anyway?
It worked for all those "year of.." packs
It’s for each set. Doesn’t matter when it was released.
it's not rigged. I got golden Alexstrasza from them
Gotta pay 20 bucks for a golden legendary mate.
I love you Dreadsteed, I will never disenchant you!

Bullshit. There's nothing guaranteed regarding golden cards. What we assume is something like :
Golden Common: 26
Golden Rare: 30
Golden Epic: 158
Golden Legendary: 437

There's no pity timer for golden packs, confirmed last year by Celestalon on https://mobile.twitter.com/Celestalon/status/1263559776014745600
