How would everyone feel if Trample became a Hearthstone mechanic?
For those who don't know MTG, Trample is a keyword where minions excess Attack value goes face after hitting an enemy minion... If you attacked a 2/6 minion with a 6/6 minion, you would kill that minion, and 4 damage would go face.
It would have to be attached to minions, and not something you could give to a minion.. Imagine playing "Give all minions in your hand TRAMPLE"... Opponent plays The Forest's Aid, then you play Deathwing, Mad Aspect ... GG 😂😂
There are two fundamental differences between MTG and HS that makes trample not work in HS. Minions do not heal between turns, and attackers decide blockers in HS. They have tried pseudo trample before, like knuckles, and it’s just not possible in HS.

On top you cannot heal when you are at 30. Magic lets you just go nuts.
I think it doesn't really need to be here. In MTG, Trample is important, since otherwise chump blocking could be too strong, with too many 1/1 tokens stopping massive creatures an opponent has greatly invested in. In HS, Taunt is a rare-enough mechanic, in a game where most minions can't block, so Trample isn't really necessary.
Meanwhile, let's imagine some Trample creatures. Something like a 4/3 Trample for 3 would be OK, nothing that great. Might not see play. How about something bigger, a 7 mana 6/6 with Rush or Charge? With charge, it'd be a horrible idea, and even with Rush I don't really think it should exist. That'd be face damage and minion removal with a body attached.
I think there's room for more cool stuff with overkill, so long as that overkill is cooler than just face damage.
That's why I used the example of Deathwing, Mad Aspect, imagine he had Trample... Just a random thought I had... Don't actually think it would be a good mechanic for HS.

of all things Hearthstone needs, additional face damage isn't one of them

if you hit a 2/6 with a 6/6 that would be 0 trample damage, lol.
Thats not how trample works LmAO
On topic, no thanks
Yeah, like Funk said, I think you meant 6/2, not 2/6.
"There is no spoon"
Yeah, sorry, I'm an idiot... I meant 2/2 actually, but yeah.
Just trying to drum up conversation.
I should have said:
"OMG Hearthstone is dying"
"This game is obviously rigged"
"Priest shouldn't be a class"
or "Nerf every powerful card!"
