Blizzard wants us to buy and buy, no problem becouse what you love to play may cost money. But now we have a solo adventure from Aches of Outland and when you win it you get a golden Kael'thas Sunstrider. I already have a uncraftable and undustable Kael'thas Sunstrider what is the use of 2 of these.... cant dust eighter
Why? The whole adventure is free and optional and you don't get rewards. They are in no way obliged to give you something for playing it since you don't give them anything. I mean, they're already giving you 9 packs for free. Are you really complaining that you don't get even more
In the past, you got a cardback for completing a heroic adventure. I prefer a golden legendary even if it is a duplicate and you can't dust it. At least I see more of it than that slight strip you see of your currently used cardback. Not to mention that I have 80-odd other cardbacks already that I also only see when busting packs.
And remember that not everyone is able to complete the adventure challenges. Even though most of us here seem to be able to one-shot all bosses with their eyes closed and hands tied behind their back, a few of my RL friends who play casually get nowhere near. So nice that they still have the normal one for free.
Don't get me wrong: there should be more dust available in this game. It'd be great for FTP players if quests provided dust. Even buying packs should provide a small amount of dust (a flat 5 per? a random bundle like Arena used to give sometimes?).
However, being able to disenchant a reward promo card from an adventure is... not a hill I'd fight on, much less the hill I'd die on.
Particularly, I think it'd be great to have access to dust from some means other than disenchanting cards. Really stinks to get some borderline card, and feel like you have to DE it to make something important, rather than being able to save it. Invariably, some deck comes up that uses that card, and it's just a feelsbadman moment where you used to have something and don't. Getting at least some amount of dust from packs--well before you hit the no-dupes limit--and from quests and other daily grind would help release some of that pressure.
I agree with the OP. It feels like a very bad reward. I'd rather just have been given a classic pack. At the very least that is 40 dust. which is something I could use. Having a duplicate legendary isn't.
No worse than a cardback though. I have zero use for those either.
Dude... Gone are the days where u get specefic cards from completing free adventures. I don't get the point of giving same card again in golden . Atleast reward with a card back or even a golden common or rare card which is disenchantable.
