recently I was reading some twitter posts about hearthstone 2020 summit and how people are loving playing mage, quote: “playing mage in fourthcoming expansion is sooo fun!”.
so I kinda got interested in it. And I bought khadgar hero just for the collection. But unfortunately I don’t have many mage cards on my main account. Frankly speaking I have only basic and a pair of classic cards for mage. so I want to ask you mage players, is it worth FOR ME to buy this mage packs bundle? Strongly need advice!
Wow! Mage will be super Fun!!?? My favorite class making a comeback? Now I'm excited about the coming expansion/rotation.. If it's really true ( like Tempo Mage coming back) I'll buy loads of packs!!!
If that's true, then it would seem they've already decided which deck will be OP (fun clearly means OP)... My favorite Standard mage deck uses around 20k dust, so this could get scary for FTP players.
does 5 packs for 10 bucks seem like a good deal? the answer is no, usually blizz has some sort of decent deal but run away from this one and wait for the next xpac to drop a bundle or 2
It MIGHT be worth it if you have nearly zero Mage cards but since these packs will contain cards from expansions which are going to rotate out of Standard soon I'd definitely not advise you to purchase said bundle. The idea behind that experiment is nice but the execution is awful.
Thank you all guys for your responses. I bought it and strangely got a lot of common duplicates, 1 epic and 1 golden rare. All in all it was pretty bad luck, but fortunately all cards are from Not rotating expansions. appreciate all your thoughts and advices, thanks.

The idea is good but it's too expensive and no legendary is guaranteed. So I will wait next expansion.
Wait wait...what? They said playing mage will fun in next expansion. Can you post a link of the twitter posts?

You found exact post which I meant.
You guys didn’t answer my question. Is it worth buying 5 mage packs having no mage cards in the collection?
Yes, the 1st reply did... it's more expensive than normal packs... So, no, it's not "worth it"
But, I bought one anyways, and got 2 Legendaries in 1 pack, so I'm happy I did.

It's an experiment for a new way to sell packs.
Gwent offers this too for their 6 factions.
It's a good deal if you are lacking a specific class across multiple sets after not playing for a while.

Just buy them. It's only $10, No need to have a support group about it.
We aren't talking about a lot of money here.
If you like Mage and need cards.. well there you go. 5 packs of Mage cards.
From a value perspective, it's bad.
1. Pricing is just weird. Normal price gives 7 packs for $10 while this gives 5.
2. The pack card pool also contains mage cards from last season which rotates in a month or so.
That said, if you have more money than time, why not.
