I don't think I've ever had a more satisfying "final boss" to Legend rank ever. I was playing taunt Control Warrior and got matched up against a Quest druid (the "Infinite Kek" variant (below) that goes infinite with Kun the Forgotten King, Elise the Enlightened, Zephrys the Great, and Baleful Banker). That matchup, as you know, is essentially an auto-lose for control warrior... but I decided to play it out.
As soon as I got the clues that I wasn't facing the potentially-winnable Nomi build... I started feeling like it was a lost cause. JUST in the nick of time I hit Dr. Boom's discover a mech power and - voila - a wild Hecklebot appeared! Knowing my opportunity was granted from the heavens, I sneakily saved it until the exact moment my opponent baleful-ed an Elise and had just one card in his deck (my opponent actually got extremely lucky and went through 2 or 3 rounds of the combo before he had just one card left... because he got his combo pieces early and kept re-drawing his Elise instead of a remaining Crystal Merchant left in his deck. Was so tempted to play the Hecklebot early but I knew I had to be patient, even if the combo rounds were quickly draining me of my resources.
Then the moment arrived. BOOM. I play Hecklebot which yanks his Elise the Enlightened, I play my last Brawl to get rid of all the opponent's minions, and had one last Shield Slam remaining just in case one of the two Elises survived (which I didn't have to use).
That druid took so long to make the next turn... I'm sure he/she was like, "WTF just happened"
Funny enough, the game still wasn't over. The druid had 60+ armor and still managed to play something like 3-4 more Kuns, 2 Zephrys'... one of which gave him a Tirion Fordring. So I still nearly lost. I had to take a tick of fatigue damage (used up all of my card resources just to survive) before my last Omega Devastator took out his last Kun the Forgotten King. Once I played Archivist Elysiana, my opponent was a good sport and sent a "Well Played" emote before conceding.
Just sharing the epic feels! :)
