I'm pretty excited for the next expansion, but what I think is overshadowing it more is that I won't ever...EVER have to encounter Frost Lich Jaina in standard anymore
It's the little things right?

I'm fairly ecstatic about this. Frost Bitch Jaina.... *shudders*
Wow, dont understand the hate. Unlike a lot of the other dks *cough*rexxar*cough*, jaina actually was a well balanced Dk that didnt create unlimited resources but also took a little brain usage to use. She could only be used in control mage and also made sense in that deck. You couldn't build an aggressive deck and just stick her in there like rexxar. Never mind that mage was never top tier like hunter and she was actually a great card for mage users. I'll miss her.

Jaina was a staple in Odd Mage which is a mainly tempo-oriented deck. Its power level is incredible, and combined with the amount of Mage removals and Daring Fire-Eater, almost impossible to play around and that's the reason people don't like it, I assume. Basically you could have grabbed Jaina, some elementals, removals, basic mage cards and there you have a Tier 2 deck which will beat aggro and control as well if you draw the DK.

Eh, I wouldn't call Frost Lich Jaina balanced. She basically carried the entire mage class on her back for almost two years.
The problem with Rexxar and Guldan was they were almost as powerful as Jaina, AND in good classes.

She was a lot of things.
Balanced was not among them. Her and DK Rexxar were certainly not balanced.

That's my point. She was balanced compared to the other op dks like rexxar and guldan. You had to survive until turn 9 to use her and when you did play her, didnt just win like rexxar or guldan

Well balanced. lmao. What a crock of "I play mage" bullshit.

Lol, trolling?
I don't know whether or not the OP is trolling but I wholeheartedly agree with what he wrote... Rexxar is a card that gives even the most Aggessive Decks a chance to beat Control by turning them into value bombs, also its Battlecry affects the board immediately even if yours is empty unlike Jaina who's slow as fuck, takes up your entire turn to be played and has a requirement for her hero power to work... Seriously, unless you're all playing Control Warrior and getting shat upon by her I really don't get where all the hatred comes from... That being said goodbye Jaina, you were a loyal friend along with many others...
Hate for Lich Jaina? I guess we found a Hunter bois.
Do u honestly think Jaina DK in a control deck is that opressive? So an aggro deck like the myriad of hunters decks with a single card that destroys control aka DK Rexxar isnt worst? Not to mention the game seems rigged af for hunters to have Rexxar available before turn 8

Get ur priorities straight dude
Why not hate both? Or are you a pesky Mage player?
Both were in some way broken. Hunter just had a stronger overall appearance.

This. Speaking as someone who plays all classes, I'm here to say that all DKs were bad for the game.
I always find it weird that some people identify so strongly with one particular class. Don't you realize you'll be a much better player if you play all of them to grasp their strengths and weaknesses?

I mean, if u can afford to have competitive and strong decks in every class, good for you. But tastes aside, I don't think most players can, especially F2P players

Never see again the FireFly is a lot more important, probably the most played card in the last 2 years.

If only Toki, Time Tinker didn't have that pesky word minion in her text box.
Oh right this is my last chance to bullshit my way trough Halucination into DK in standard.
I will miss Firefly and OUT OF MY JUGLE ! .

I'm honestly way more excited about Genn and Baku leaving standard than any of the Death Knights except for maybe Rexxar.

Jaina leaving standard makes me sad. :( But hey, she'll prolly never leave wild, so... ;)
