As an F2P player I often see non F2P players as beta testers. While I'm used to being a bit behind, the reality of the meta means that eventually things will settle out to a set of cards that I can totally afford through gathered dust and gold.
It'll be fascinating to see how gradual the process of assimilating the cards into the new meta will be, for the first few days, there's going lots of WiP decks that run 1 ofs or people just running random cards just to see how good it is, and there's going to be people that will stick to their guns with the older decks. Nevertheless, I am looking forward to the unpredictability of things and it's a refreshing break from queuing into a Hunter and seeing Undertaker -> Mad Scientist for the umpteenth time.
I'm (mostly) F2P, but I've got a couple thousand gold saved up for the GvG release. If there are others like me, the rift won't be as big as predicted.
Also, standard Undertaker-Hunter will probably be better than ever for a day or two, until people figure out what they're actually doing with the new cards they're messing around with.
I predict that a massive rift will suddenly form between the F2P players and those of us who are quite happy to pay a fair price for this marvellous game.
Almost F2P here (only spent 20€ when I started), I have all cards (minus ~10 crap legendary), 3000g and ~10k dust atm, so rift won't be so massive.
My guess is ladder will be filled with rouges running mill decks. Already seen several theory crafted decks around mill rouge that seem somewhat solid so i guess a lot of these will occur.

I expect about a 1000 threads about how Warlock is degenerate and needs to be nerfed, because people don't respect aggro.

fixed
The Positive :
Many new cards popping into decks at each turns, you will actually have to guess what will happen at every corner.
A feeling of diversity on the Ladder
Deathrattle won't be the FOTM anymore.
People will try their luck on RNG
Undertaker will no longer be the standard first turn play of every deck!
The Negative :
The Shop will be closed and many transactions won't be processed as they should.
DDOS attacks might occur again.
Sprites / every tables full / Game queue will seem endless
The F2P players will feel helpless and start crying on every topic that they got smashed by _ Legendary or _ P2W deck
Ladder will turn into a copy of whatever is currently playing Amaz, Reynad, Kolento, Firebat, Trump, or any high profile twitcher by day 2 or 3.
Personally i hope i will enjoy the new cards, i have been saving gold and will spend some more cash into the game so i can open around 120 packs.

... A safe prediction, since it would require approximately 2 people to adopt this strategy.
@Shadowmantle Undertaker is even better with the new cards.

You forgot that things will explode. Lots of things are going to explode.
I Designed A Card This Week
Servers will fail soon after patch, new bugs will pester the game and arena will be fun again.

I foresee a lot of mech decks.
Mech is the new Deathrattle
I predict no meta game on ladder and laggy servers. Also an insane amount of arena runs...
