If the adapt choice is considered a spell played on minion it might help complete this quest if there are enough neutral minions with Adapt to make that work. Might be a cheap way to solve the problem...

My guess would be at the same time they put online the new log in reward campaign so tomorrow or the next day. Pure speculation though!

according to the internal clock trick, it should be available on April 6th or 7th given the Region you're playing. There's always room for Blizzard to change the release date obviously though...

posted a message on Finja is broken and should be nerfed

The only real issue with Finja is the way it's working with Murloc Warleader allowing Finja to get his life pumped up and be able to survive a normally lethal damage.

    Stampeding Kodo

Works for a couple of cards in the current meta and shuts down all the troublesome stealthed cards like Finja or Shaku...

posted a message on Priest is better now but still not good enough?

I prefer Nova over Excavated evil for 2 reasons :

One, because it doesn't hurt your minions and Dragon is all about board control to me.

Two, because it also heals you for 2 life and many games you simply can't afford the extra 2 manas to heal yourself while fending off minons.

If it works for you though stick with it, there isn't any definitive answer on current build anyway!

Since yesterday i've been facing more and more Jade decks and you're simply no match for them with Dragon deck. I switched to Reno Dragon Priest because it has a better match up against pure aggro thanks to Reno but you still get out valued by Jade cards whatever you do. Each board clear is immediately refilled with jade that simply put a toll until you reach the breaking point where it's too much.

I'm afraid the meta is evolving into an even less Priest friendly meta, dragon or no dragon priest decks...The Dr

The Dragon Priest tends to own the Jade Druid, no? Also, all Dragon Priest just go face these days. Cocky and they never trade...maybe these are all bad players, but the Dragon Priest can be hard to deal with if you don't get a good early game start
I agree that you do have a slightly favorable MU against Jade Druid but Jade Shaman are a complete different story. They can burst you with damage spells to pass through taunts, reach lethal when they play Bloodlust and get tremendous and fast value thanks to Jade cards.
Running Dragonfire Potion is a possible solution against them but it's a late card T6 these days, and it slows the deck when facing more straightforward aggro decks. I still prefer to run double Holy Nova instead and accept that i'm 40/60 against Jade Shaman.
And for those wondering i'm currently on EU between rank 6 and 7. Going full face might be a good game plan but i feel that you really have to control the early board against Jade Shaman otherwise Trogg and Totem Golem can snowball way too fast...
Despite my grim tone, it's clearly a viable deck, not the powerhouse everyone predicted it would be (Reno Dragon is my choice over regular Dragon but that's a matter of taste i think as the two win rates are probably very close), but still decent enough to reach Rank 5 and be considered upper half of Tier 2 decks.

Any kind of Jade deck Druid or Shaman gets so much more value than you do, you just can't compete anymore at some point in the mid game, especially the Shaman which has the Hex or big damage spells to get rid of your highest life taunts. With so many Reno mage, more and more players are switching to Jade decks which is a very unhealthy meta for dragon priest.

It's a better meta for Priest than what is used to be be it's not Naxxramas Priest days. I wouldn't try spending hours climbing with Priest, the deck can self destruct if you don't get your Dragons or can simply be snowballed very easily by Jade decks. Also way too many Azure Drakes in current decks which are a pain to deal with, being a Dragon + a 4 attack minion.

posted a message on Nerfing cards - Why Does It Take So Long?

I don't believe they will nerf anything whatever people are screaming for since the rotation for the new standard mode will come in 3 to 4 months tops. I just hope it will be a better diversity than what it is currently now. Playing only T6 rushers or 30 minutes mirror matches isn't fun at all, whatever side of the table you are... Also a tweak to the ladder system would also be welcome at the same time!

posted a message on The meta is too fast (dmg in the meta)

Yeah i think that the damage input right now is very high and it won't stop because the root of the problem is the Ladder System itself. People want fast wins so they can get to rank 5 ASAP. And even when they get there they still want to make it to Legend (if possible) fast enough which means you still have to play a very high number of games. You can't afford spending 2 hours of play a day (which is, from my point of view, a huge time dedicated to the game) in only playing like 5 or 6 control games that won't get you much stars won...

Even playing Reno isn't really a solution. When you face some super aggro deck you win or loose by having the opportunity to Reno on T6 and then clear the board a couple of times after that to secure the win. But when you get into the mirror it's just taking forever to determine the winner so that still make people want to play more aggro decks because it's fast win or concede type of games.

I think that by pushing the no duplicates archetype when designing the set Blizzard was obviously aware the meta would turn a big % of the meta into Reno so that's why they were ok with leaving cards like Patches or Small-Time Buccaneer exactly as we know them so players would have the choice between pure aggro for game speed or Reno decks for overall consistency. It looks like a more healthy meta than the one we had before the set was released but still not that great since most games are then decided by the ability to play a minion on T6 with more than average stats that heal you back to full life... Not that much of a big thought process here... or the ability to go all in and try to apply as much pressure early on as possible and play around AOE as much as possible... again not many decisions to take there since you will play for 6 turns at best!

Blizzard said they were unhappy with the current state of the Ladder System and i really hope they will try something new soon enough when the next standard year begins so we can see if we can get a better gaming experience for everyone.

posted a message on Too many Reno Jacksons: I am very happy he will rotate out soon.

People often forget that Blizzard did mentioned they were considering moving cards from expansions into the Classic set so they would ALWAYS be available in standard... Not saying it would be a good or a bad choice but that's still an option for Reno He might still get rich for a long long time!

If your deck has no Duplicate gain control of target minion maybe? That would match the art in some way... Probably 8 or 9 mana for such an effect though!

posted a message on Afraid priest is going to be the new shaman

Will it really be the new Shaman? I mean that people play Shaman because 1) It's Strong 2) it's quite fast games and 3) it has no bad match ups so to speak. Will it be strong? Looks like it! Will it be fast? Not really. Which means that players might go to fastest classes even if they have to relinquish some winrate % for it (unless they change the way ladder is working). Priest has bad match ups like it has already been pointed out.

So overall my guess would be that Priest will be back on the map but it won't be as played as Shaman currently or Undertaker Hunter.
