Aggro peasants saying control decks are easy to play is because the subtetly of this supreme strategy is far beyond they can understand. :P
Were you trying to be ironic by having such bad grammar and spelling and calling other players intelligence into question? If so, then you are hilarious, but if not you may want to re-THINK your own "supreme strategy."
First, yes, 1986 is the year I was born, and second, yeah, call me childish or whatever you want, I don't care, dude, I love my inner child. :) That makes me not to be a silly and boring old man. ;)
Boy do I pity the people in the nursing home who need to take care of you. Those people are heavily underpaid for what they have to endure on a daily basis.
You accuse others for being childish and then you insult with no justifiable reason. I am sure you cannot get off your high horse without a parachute.

Been trying out Dragon Control Priest. Was playing Secret Hunter before that which is still also fun to play. The priest deck is doing decently so far, except against Frost Lich Jaina. Is there anything you can do against her? No matter how hard I try to avoid getting 1 health minions, it always happens one way or the other.

It's a tough matchup. You're the aggressor. Get as many mind blasts in hand as you can and get you DK up. You either chip them down and kill them with pings+mind blast, or alex them from high hp and then kill them. Use psychic screams to deny elemental healing. If you're relying on chip damage and not alex, not playing minions is often the better play because then they have lesser access to water elementals.
It's usually a long shot but it'll often look like psychic scream + ping, they play a non elemental thing, you alex, they poly/voodoo + ping, you scream + ping and then kill them the next turn.
When I was climbing this month i mostly played control priest and none of the mages i played knew to save their armor elemental dudes to play flamestrike on an empty board to get out of lethal range so either not a lot of mages aren't savvy on the matchup or i was lucky and they just didn't draw them.
You usually want to set up a big draw with pyro cleric hymn. you kind of play the matchup like a combo deck.

Yeah, I'm not even gonna bother with this one...
Wow, another great mature response, I'm really impressed, dude.
If anything, Aggro mirrors are some of the most interesting and skillful matches in the entirety of Hearthstone.
LOL, people repeating like a parrot what Blizzard said in that stupid video they released some weeks ago. Before it, I never saw someone making such a ridiculous statement, LMAO. XD
There are more lines of play and available options in control as opposed to to aggro and combo. Anytime there are more lines of play and things to look at, it makes the deck harder to pilot. Is control harder to play effectively than aggro or combo? I believe it is. As a control player your hand is closer to the full side and as an aggro player its closer to the empty side for most of the game. So in control your obviously going to have more cards to consider and lines of play to consider. When compared to combo it doesn't have a set win condition so you need to allocate your resources efficiently. Control is my favorite play style. However, that doesn't mean that it doesn't take skill to play an aggro or combo deck really well. A good player is a good player. Whether they chose to play control, aggro or combo is irrelevant. Knowing what to expect, planing ahead, knowing interactions/match ups and being able to bait your opponent are some of the things that make a good player. People that say aggro is brain dead aren't articulate enough to try to explain this so they just say its "brain dead". However, I believe what they are trying to say is the control is harder to master than aggro or combo which I believe to be true as well.

English is not my language, for educational purpose, in a ironic frase, when you want on purpose sound like a elitist, how I should write instead?
Maybe in English is diferent but in Portuguese an emoticon in end of the sentence is enough to people realize it is a joke and not serious.
It's funny how a thread about the viability of Control decks in current meta turns into a discussion about Control style being the definition of smart people.
Quite telling i guess...
Right?
If these people are supposed to represent control players then boy do I feel embarassed for every other control player that's actually a decent human being.
You really don't get the jokes? We really need to write a very big "Sarcasm" in the end of the posts? We are not "decent human beings" anymore only because we have some sense of humor?
Don't make this world more unfun than already is... <_<
Yeah you're another person whose opinion I couldn't care less about. I've read some of your previous posts. Please don't ever reply to me again, thanks.
This is a forum, people write about opinions, all members are free to reply in any open topic as long they respect the rules.
I will reply you everytime I want in any topic, I can do that and you can add me to your ignore list, what you can't do is forbidden any member to reply your posts, if you can't stand replys then forums are not the right place for your opinions.

"Decent human being". Lol, who cares about being decent in 2018 (well, almost 2019 :P)? Leave your silly moral values out of this awesome forum, dude.
If you were actually born in 86 that means you are a 32 year old man claiming you are a genuis becuase you play control. Get a life man
Ah, it's Sherman. Seeking out trouble with those that do not share his opinion. I joined this thread to speak up about everyone judging each other for what the other player's preferred play style is. Your reply perfectly paints the picture of how superior you think you are, as do some of your previous posts.
The world is full of silly people who believe they are the best of the best, and stupids who praise them for what they are not. I only fight fire with fire, dude, because it is effective, but more than anything, a lot of fun. I thought it was pretty clear already for most of you, but it seems some people here still don't understand I never play fair.

Work on your English more, play video games less. You will go far.
Work on your manners more, play video games less. You will go far.
Current control decks are as skillful as aggro decks, I would even say aggro decks require more skill to play them well. Saying this as the guy whose one of the first posts on this forum was:
Current meta is a joke, there is absolutely no variety after patron nerf. Face hunter, secret paladin, aggro druid, tempo mage. Thats all. I play handlock and thats all i meet these days. And i'm not gonna ever play those skilless boring decks.
Control Mage and Warrior are incredibly easy to play and strong because of the big amount of op removals and board clears they have. Nonetheless, they are boring.
If control decks would mindlessly throw their removals like aggro decks throw their minions then they would lose pretty much every game but hey, control gameplay actually requires some thinking, I guess some of the smorcs on this forum don't know what that is.
Contrary to popular belief, ALL the play styles require some sort of thought and skill to play. I don't understand why any archetype would think they are better than all the other archetypes or play styles. If you always play control or combo and then switch to aggro, you're going to have to learn how to aggro and not miss lethal. Learn when to trade, your opponents board clears, and essentially how much time you have before your opponent reaches their win condition...
There's more to it than just playing minions and going face. Claiming that control requires more skill is simply invalidating the necessity for other archetypes. Do you really want to be locked into a super control metagame? Where it's constant control versus control?
Don't let this 75 comment thread about whose better at a children's card game distract you from the fact that Lightning McQueen blew a 3 lap lead in the Piston Cup.

I just played against the Odd Taunt Warrior with my Exodia Paladin. I finished the game with about 50 life. Garrosh was trampled by the Four Horseman.

I love control.... as a priest main.. i refuse to use any tier 1 deck
